Slaughter comes back and does the crap bad companies do and submit to the insurance for $18k. Except the insurance wouldn't cover it because they quoted $11k. Long story short we ended up having to pay out of pocket $7k. Do not trust them. It might be "just the insurance business" but they are all crooks. To top it off they gave us a "coupon" for $800 and wouldn't honor it at the end of the work.

They were on time and completed the job in one day which included repairing several sheets of plywood that had damage. The plywood damage was a bit more extensive then originally thought but they were still able to complete all the work on time as well has replacing my DISH. Because they discovered issues in my attic they added 2 additional vents to take care of moisture build up in the attic. All of this was done within the price point agreed to. As impressive as the work was the clean up was even more impressive. Not one piece of old roofing was left on the ground. They also were able to remove all of the old roofing nails that had fallen to the ground. They used several large magnets and covered my deck and entire lawn to make sure no metal was left behind.
