It has been almost three years since I last visited Dr. Walker, but he was familiar with my health history and situation. There office offers on-site blood tests for a routine physical, which is very convenient. The only challenge to speak of is that the parking is very limited here. They offer free valet parking, and that is often the only way to find a parking spot.

When I explained that he would not be wearing one and would not keep it on, I felt like the response I received was judgmental, including the dirty looks from the staff. You never know what someone else may be going through, and I hope your staff can keep that in mind.

He is on a great deal of medications, however substantially fewer than when the accident first occurred, which provide little to no relief from his chronic pain after suffering a brachial plexus root avulsion injury in the accident. Today was our first appointment here and we met with NP Michelle who spent an inordinately lengthy time with us and offered some solid pharmaceutical solutions our son can try to alleviate his pain. She was kind, considerate and most importantly empathetic to his situation of living in constant, daily pain. For the first time, in a long time, he may experience some lessening of his pain. If the initial consultation is any indication of the care this office shows, we are going to be in good hands. The front office staff was very helpful as well scanning in prior records and returning them to us before we left. I'm not sure yet if CPC is going to be as Yelp says, 'As good as it gets!' but for now, the consult today was very promising.

I couldn't have been more wrong, and I'm so grateful I made the change. From my very first interaction, I have been incredibly impressed with how organized, professional, and genuinely kind everyone has been. Every single person I've spoken with has treated me with compassion, patience, and respect. I made it a point to remember some of their names because they all stood out: Essence, Erica, Rachel, Brittany, Dr. DeFrancisco, and Dr. Tyler (and I know I'm forgetting a few others who were just as wonderful!). What truly won me over was an experience that reminded me of how doctor's offices used to be--when people genuinely cared about the patient, not just the appointment schedule. While I was receiving an infusion, I desperately needed a cortisone injection. Even though Dr. DeFrancisco wasn't at that location that day, he responded to my message almost immediately, coordinated with the staff between offices, and arranged for Dr. Tyler to see me right then and there without a scheduled appointment. That level of teamwork, communication, and patient care is rare, and it meant so much to me. Dr. Tyler was absolutely hilarious and instantly put me at ease, and Dr. DeFrancisco has been everything I hoped for in a rheumatologist--knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely invested in his patients. It's not often that every single person you encounter at a medical practice leaves a positive impression, but that has truly been my experience here. I can't recommend this practice highly enough. If you're hesitant about making a switch like I was, don't be. I'm so happy I did.
