This place is awesome there so many great places to see in NYC. It's just one of those places that you gotta come out and check out for yourself. We all had a great time here the views are amazing.

Visited from Chicago and I would say this is the one experience you would not want to miss. They have so many levels and experiences to go through and a lot of different photo ops. The Levitation floor was timed though. The people who took our photos for our wristbands are not allowed to take photos so if you go alone ask someone else to do for you. Overall loved the experience and being able to see New York City was amazing. We picked a day it was raining but was lucky enough to see everything before we left a the clouds covered everything. You can only get in line 30 minutes before your time, no earlier.

The Summit One Vanderbilt Skip the Line Premium Experience was absolutely worth it and was easily one of the highlights of our New York trip. From the very beginning, the premium experience made everything feel smoother, more organized, and much more enjoyable. Being able to skip the long lines saved us a lot of time and made the visit feel far less stressful, especially in such a busy attraction. One of the best parts of the premium experience was that we had a tour guide, which made the visit even better. Having a guide added so much more value because we were able to learn more about the space, the views, and the overall experience instead of just walking through on our own. Our guide helped make everything feel more personalized, informative, and memorable. It also felt like we were able to experience a few extra things that we may not have gotten to enjoy the same way without the premium package, which made it feel even more special and worthwhile. Once inside, the entire experience was incredible from start to finish. The views were absolutely breathtaking and gave such an amazing perspective of New York City. Everywhere you looked, there was something stunning to take in. The skyline, the surrounding buildings, and the city stretching out in every direction made for an unforgettable experience. It truly felt surreal at times. What makes Summit One Vanderbilt stand out is that it is so much more than just an observation deck. The entire experience is immersive, modern, and visually stunning. The mirrored rooms and interactive spaces made it feel unique and unlike any other attraction. Every part of it felt thoughtfully designed and exciting to explore. The premium experience really elevated the visit because it was not just about skipping the lines--it also gave us a more enhanced and complete experience overall. Between the convenience, the guided aspect, and the extra parts we were able to enjoy, it felt like we got much more out of the visit than we would have otherwise. That made the extra cost feel completely worth it. The staff were also friendly, professional, and helpful, which added to the positive experience. Everything felt well organized, and even though Summit is clearly a very popular attraction, the premium experience made it feel much more comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend the Summit One Vanderbilt Skip the Line Premium Experience to anyone visiting New York, especially if you want to make the most of your time there. Between the incredible views, the immersive design, the convenience of skipping the lines, and the added benefit of having a tour guide and access to more parts of the experience, this was something truly memorable. I would absolutely do it again.

Fair warning: The website/email mentions it can take at least 15 minutes after entry to reach the first floor (and restrooms.) We ended up waiting a full hour in line before finally ascending. Once we're up there, it looked like a dream for trippy, surreal photos. Every turn felt visually stimulating, and the views of the NYC skyline were gorgeous too. Tip: At ascension (the elevator,) ask for glasses to block out the sun. It can be quite blinding up there! The experience seemed playful, immersive, and super Instagram-friendly. Would I do it again? Maybe, with better timing. But if you love art you can step into and don't mind a bit of a wait, it's a memorable way to see the city from a whole new angle!

2/17/2026 You know this might be the most breathtaking, highest, places I've ever been. Getting in was a bit of a wait but everything was so organized you're welcome with shoe covers. All rooms have something special and the views of the city will have camera rolls full. The cafe at the top with the lounge setting was a nice touch after the excitement of the city views. Hot dog highly recommend very clean areas. Gift shop as you find the way out and don't worry about the long line to leave it goes pretty fast. If you thought about going let me tell ya BUY THE TICKET.

Wow what a fun experience!! I had an incredible time and I really enjoyed my tour guide. He was absolutely fantastic, I'll come back and mention his name once I figure it out. He was young with a big curly Afro, great guy, very knowledgeable and was very helpful with assisting with pictures and videos. The view is BREATHTAKING, wow and every room had something different to offer. It makes sense why it's such an Instagram able spot , the views are truly amazing .

Very cool experience. Wish we had more time in the "silver room." Love the view of the city from high in the sky.

The Summit One Vanderbilt is located on 42nd St, next block to the Grand Central Terminal. We drove and found free street parking 2 blocks away on that Sunday. Met family who took the Metro-North (subway and LIRR there too) and found out there's an underground connection to the Summit, with ticket kiosks and where the line forms for the elevators. My mom uses a wheelchair so our whole group was able to bypass the long line to the entrance (where we were given shoe covers and sunglasses (or bring own)), and then to the elevator, which made the start of our experience so much better. The elevator ride was pretty fast but with flashing lights so a staff member asked us before if we were ok with that. We found out what the sunglasses were for once we got to the first level, of 3. Bec of the mirrored walls and floors, it was really bright but got used to it after a while. It also helped that it was a bit cloudy that day; gave the views a bluish and sepia coloring which I liked. Elevators and escalators between floors. Visitors have to follow the route, can't return once you leave the floor - this helped with the people traffic. Aside from seeing NYC from 4 sides (even from the restrooms), there is a "Levitation" area, where we got a few seconds to stand on glass floors in a small space jutting off the side of the building. Was ok but not the same as walking on a longer length of glass. The balloon room was mesmerizing, esp how the balloons stayed on the ceiling and flowed. Had fun playing with them, just be careful not to pop them. Don't miss it. On the last of 3 floors, there is a cafe, with an outdoor walkway to the giftshop. The cafe offers small meals and snacks and I found the food prices to be ok (better than an amusement park and better quality :) ), except the drinks. The Pastrami and swiss sliders were pretty tasty, with a pickle wedge and potato chips. The buffalo chicken was spicy, good for sharing. Restrooms near the elevators. It's been cooler this fall, so with kids and our mom, being indoors was more comfortable and we were able to take our time - marvelling at the NYC views and of course taking lots of photos and videos.

My friend raved a lot about this spot and my husband and I really wanted to check it out. Purchasing a ticket was fairly easy on their website. Once we were there, we had to wait for about 20 min but the line moved quickly. They had a bunch of interesting immersive experiences. A few of the installations were perfect for beautiful Instagram worthy photos. My favorites were mirrored rooms and the city views from 1100 feet. It was incredible! They also have a cafe at the top of the tower that offers delicious food, cocktails and coffee. A few of my friends got a few cocktails and they loved them! All in all, this is a once in a lifetime experience and I highly recommend it! The views are amazing and the art is beautiful and unique.

We had an amazing time at the summit. When booking the tickets online they let you know the best times to visit to get the best views of the city. I booked a perfect slot and got to see the city views in both daylight and in nighttime which made the whole experience even better. The staff was sweet and friendly. There was one person in particular, Dae B who was sweet and knowledge about the place and the city and guided us well. Take your time in exploring the place and I would suggest booking a timeslot that let's your enjoy both day and night views and capture some amazing pictures.

Had an amazing time at Summit one Vanderbilt, which is an immersive experience 91 floors above the city. Each room was filled with interactive and informative activities. Plenty of beautiful views for amazing photo ops. The café was clean nice with beautiful views of the city. A few areas for improvement would be a coach check or lockers to leave your coats and other things that can't be taken into the experience.

I'm giving it 5 stars, but it's probably closer to 4, since our guide, Mitchell, was so great, I'm going to err on the higher side. I also sprung for the premium experience. Now the premium experience is presented like you have a photographer with your tour group, but there are just a couple of spots where you have one, so that was a little disappointing. They don't explicitly say you will, but that's how I interpreted it. We also waited about 5 minutes for a couple of no-shows, and the tour ended about 5 minutes early. So the tour was closer to an hour and twenty minutes, and not the advertised hour and 30. The premium experience option does give you the ability to skip the lines, which is nice. Summit 1 itself is a nice experience. The mirrored/reflective style is nice, and you should bring your sunglasses, although they have some to give you if you don't remember. Keep your head on a swivel in the ballroom, its fun but chaotic. The views are nice, but equivalent to what you would find at Top of the Rock and/or Empire State. So all in all, the premium experience was worth it, just to be able to skip the lines, even with the photography disappointment. Mitchell, our guide, was great and was informative and fun. Having said I'd consider Summit 1, Top of the Rock, and Empire State to be interchangeable, in that if you're budget conscious and one of those 3 will give you similar views and experiences (in thier own way).

What an experience. We often hear about the seven wonders of the world...well this should be added as number #8. Awe struck with the views and if you are considering making the trip....evenings are it. Tou get to see the city lights at night. We arrived for the 8pm tour and it was absolutely perfect timing. If you are afraid 9f heights you will probably steer clear of the cubes on the 92 floor that extends outside the side of the building. The lines can be long so pack your patience. Tickets were relatively inexpensive and free for military, active and retired.

Entry to the top is through the "Observation Deck" entrance on the north side of the building (on W 50th St). Tickets were provided by our group, apparently one per family. After it got scanned, we went up the stairs to the mezzanine level and into an enclosed area. This area had a wide screen similar in size to the Immersive Theater in the Statue of Liberty Museum. A 5-minute film was shown summarizing 30 Rock's history, glitz and glamor. It culminated with a Christmas segment accompanied by a literal shower of snowflakes on us from the ceiling. "Now that's immersive," I thought. The door at the other end opened. We continued on until we entered the Welcome Gallery. At the far end, a staff member stood before a hall of elevators that would take us to the 67th floor. To our left was a miniature model of Rockefeller Center with light show and music. We were then directed a few at a time by the staff member to a specified elevator. Inside the elevator, an audio/visual material played from the ceiling almost like a fanfare to what was coming next. At the 67th floor, a staff member directed us to head right. I took in the view of the city skyline through the windows. Taking pictures was difficult due to limited field of view behind the walls. The unobstructed balcony view would be found on the 69th and 70th floors. Wife and Son weren't comfortable with heights so they hung out in the Weather Room. I was similarly acrophobic but that didn't stop me from taking the escalator to the 69th. After I got off the escalator, I saw the Beam to my right. Situated entirely on the deck and a maximum elevation of 10 feet from the floor, it didn't look as scary as the people sitting on it made it out to be. My attention quickly turned towards the balcony. From left to right as far as the eye could see, the unobstructed view was overwhelming. Reigning in my acrophobia - which was increasing the longer I remained at the Top - took effort. I proceeded to take pictures of the skyline. The 70th floor above me was accessible by stairs. The view was better. The Beam looked a lot less scary from the 70th floor. As I approached the windows, my breaths got slower and heavier. Taking each picture was laborious because the sunlight made it difficult to see my phone while managing the acrophobia at the same time. Yet I got through it and promptly went down. The experience at the Top of the Rock was much more enjoyable than that at the Empire State Building (ESB) back in Sep 2008. The wait line was much shorter (45 minutes alone just waiting for the elevator to get on top of the ESB). Top of the Rock didn't feel rushed. It offers a lot more space and more time to take it all in. I definitely recommend this place. If I ever return to New York City, I would like to try a different skyscraper (definitely not the ESB) for the next view from the top.

It's such a different experience now. 20 years ago, I remember just walking into the lobby, buying a ticket, and heading up to the observation deck. But today? You enter in a different spot, and it's a whole experience. There's a "museum" now and you can spend more time here than just taking in the views from the 86th floor. So why go? It was the world's tallest building when it was completed in 1931 and until the North Tower of the World Trade Center was completed in 1970. (Sad aside: It became NYC's tallest building again after 9/11 until was surpassed by One World Trade Center in 2012.) It features gorgeous art deco architecture and design. It's a cultural icon (one of my favorite parts of the museum experience was a room where you can see dozens of film clips which feature the Empire State Building). The new experience includes exhibits that explain the history, design, and construction of the building. What I learned about its construction was particularly interesting! The construction of the building involved more than 3,500 workers, many of who were Irish and Italian immigrants, and led to an unknown number of deaths of workers (official reports say 5, newspapers at the time reported higher numbers). While I felt this museum addition really added to the experience of visiting the Empire State Building, it has also certainly made visiting the building more expensive. So let's get down to the brass tacks. The base ticket (which gets you entry into everything up to the 86th floor) is $44 for adults, $42 for seniors, and $38 for children (plus a $5 booking charge for each transaction). If you want to visit the 102nd floor for that additional observation deck, it's $79 for adults, $77 for seniors, and $73 for children (plus the booking charge). Then there are ways to spend even more money: a Starbucks Reserve Sunrise ticket ($135 per person); an Express Pass (starting at $85/120 per person); a Premium Experience ($175 per person); and All-Access Tour ($500 per person)... I'm generally not into these expensive view experiences that have popped up all over NYC. But the Empire State Building is special. It's an icon and a view. But I still wasn't willing to pay $80 to visit, so we stuck with the base ticket that gets you access only to the 86th floor observatory. The 86th Floor Observatory contains an enclosed viewing gallery and open-air outdoor viewing area. It's the classic observatory you've seen in movies. And it was certainly enough for me - the museum and the 86th floor observatory! Don't miss/rush through the original main lobby as you leave the experience. Or - if you're not willing to pay for the experience to see the view - stop in at the lobby on its own - it's open to the public (follow the signs for the Starbucks Reserve which is entered through this lobby). The lobby is gorgeous - marble, terrazzo, a scale model of the building... But the highlight is that aluminum relief of the skyscraper as it was originally built (without the antenna). It's incredible. It's an icon for a reason, and it was fun to visit and to see it again after so many years. They've certainly made it more of an experience than it used to be (although now, you can't just pop by for the view on a pretty day, since it's prohibitively expensive for a quick visit), but I had a really good time.

Located at the summit of the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, the observatory offers sweeping panoramic views that capture the full scale of the New York skyline. The atmosphere begins building even before reaching the top. The elevator ride itself is part of the experience, featuring a visual timeline that shows the transformation of New York City's skyline over several centuries as you ascend the tower. By the time you reach the observation level, the sense of height and perspective is already striking. The observation deck offers unobstructed views in every direction. From the windows, visitors can see landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Hudson River, and Midtown Manhattan stretching into the distance. The indoor design keeps the environment comfortable year-round while still delivering dramatic views of the city. The experience also includes interactive exhibits and multimedia displays that help visitors understand the geography, neighborhoods, and history of New York. These elements add context and depth rather than simply presenting the skyline as a visual spectacle. Service throughout the observatory felt organized and professional. Staff guide visitors efficiently through the entry process and help maintain a smooth flow even during busy periods. From a global travel perspective, One World Observatory ranks among the great urban observation decks I have visited in cities like Tokyo, Shanghai, and Dubai where skyline views become a defining part of the travel experience.

The band had embarked on their North American tour from their native South Korea. Since I had never seen the band before as well, the adventure to a new space for me made the whole thing more interesting to me. Now I travel via the MTA, and from Bay Ridge this event space is a bit of a hike. It's the R train to the N to the 7 to a fairly decent walk. Those who are driving or taking an Uber might have a little better trek experience than I did but that being said once I made it past the famed Unisphere and over to New York State Pavilion, it was time to go into the Queens Theatre. When I arrived there were already about 100 attendees lined up because the band was doing all sorts of VIP things with them. A cool part of the agenda for sure. Inside the theatre is a spacious lobby area with seating all around near the windows. There are concessions there but I only saw drinks being sold when I looked. There was a small merchandise table for the band set up and I imagine that when other shows happen here this will be their space as well. Right off the bat I connected to a complimentary WiFi signal which was good but seemed to go on and off during the course of the performance. Once I was in the actual performance space I was quite impressed. The stage is sizable which was great because this was a five member band with a full backline and the seats were oh so comfortable. Yes this was a Rock Show and people would likely be standing throughout the performance but when it was time to sit you could do so in comfort. I positioned myself in the eighth or so row on the aisle since I needed to shoot photographs and I was happy to report that there were no bad sightlines in the theater. The sound was also clear and impressive which was partially a testimony to the bands team on the tour. While I didn't get to explore the venue all that much outside of the show, I did see one of the spacious side rooms which I guess they do talks in or smaller events. The band has set up their meet and greets there so it was in and out in terms of time to examine. There was a complimentary WiFi that I did find to be spotty at times but I feel this was based on the amount of people choosing to live stream the show. There were obviously restrooms and while I can only speak for the men's facility it was quite clean which is always a pleasant find. Overall this was a great experience for me but I cannot fathom when and if I might make a return based on the logistics and scarcity of what most interests me happening here. I will be keeping tabs on their calendar for good measure just in case and maybe some other localized Hard Rock bands can look into it or even local promoters who wish to do something that is no too crazy.

It was very informative and entertaining. I enjoyed the different styles of dances performed, the colorful outfits, the creative scenery (which was simple but effective). I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to visiting again.
