I must say that during this experience with Overlook my mom was treated with the highest level of professionalism, respect, dignity, and compassion. From the ER to the standard in patient rooms to the CCU she was fortunate to have been treated by amazing individuals including Doctors, nurses, aides, meal providers, maintenance, etc. I do have to reference several professionals that had a major impact during my mom's stays which were: Dr Jessie Wilt, one of the best professionals that i ever met in my life, with unlimited knowledge, respect, compassion and really just an amazing human being who truly cares! Nurses; Sidneia, Olivia CCU, Justin CCU, Megan CCU, Rae Mauro, Emily C., Sheryl, Jamell Quiles, Erika and Faith. To these individuals especially and to the entire staff and organization of the Hospital I would like to thank them for everything that they did to make my mom's last days the most comforting possible! "Oh, I guess the staff forgot" response - well that's unacceptable!... no basin for supplies just a paper bag after 2 days without even tissue...saw one dr. For 15 minutes in 5 days, saw no Case worker and no talk about rehab other than handed many pgs of rehab names & addresses for facilities & you must decide with no input...transferred to floor Neurology- much better 3 days following floor. Here the staff is more personable, interactive, and helpful. NURSE- VITA was great in every way!!! Transferred from observational floor 5 days to "in patient" with no further tests to be done. The patient could have been released?!??

Though I did have to pay for treatment to make some smaller spider veins go away...........it looks great and I should have done this 10 years ago. Just too simple and now I am done. I stopped by to get a blood check and an EKG, preparing for surgery coming up soon. The services were great for those 2 departments. While I was there visiting a doctor, there was a dining area, so I stopped by. I was hungry, so I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. It was surprisingly good. I would return again, might do lunch again there :) And the price was reasonable, too.

I was a patient of Summit Medical Center when it was actually located in Summit, NJ. I started with their endocrinology department, and was a patient there for a total of 12+ years. However, the larger Summit became, the worse their patient engagement, patient services and patient care became. Specifically, Endo physicians spent less time, didn't encourage better care, became rude and displayed conduct unbecoming and unprofessional for an MD! Shortly after this was displayed, I left the practice and found better Endo services at Huntington and was happy for my switch. I would NOT recommend Summit Health for Endocrinology care!

Under no circumstance should you go here for anything. I was sick and visited this place. I had…read morebeen running a fever for a few days and finally decided to see if I can get help to break the fever. The nurse comes in and takes my temperature (she didn't leave the thermometer but for a few seconds) and says I don't have a fever. I looked at her and replied that is not true because I just took my temperature before I left. She replies that sometimes they go down. She walks out and says the doctor is coming in soon. The doctor comes in and asks me some questions. He orders a flu and Covid test which come back negative. He comes in and says it's an upper respiratory infection and gives me some over the counter cough medicine. No antibiotics or anything. I leave the office and go back home. I take my temperature again and it was higher (100.8). I had a sinus infection and needed antibiotics and this place said I was basically had a cold.
