I found Dr. Uvelli and she is so great! Very friendly, very pleasant and easy to talk to. I asked her a few questions and she helped me quickly, attentively, and with care. An ambulatory surgery is a medical procedure that allows a patient to go home on the same day without an overnight hospital stay. It is also called outpatient surgery or same-day surgery. My consult prior to the procedure was virtual, and the PA who met with me was great. The consultation was clear and direct. She told me what to expect. and she ensured that I understood the risks and aftercare. The office schedulers over the phone were also great. Summit Health's Ambulatory Surgery Center is located in the Bensley Pavilion. FYI - ASC has its own patient portal for answer the pre-operative questionnaires and instructions.

I took my son here last week with a 103 fever. I showed up about 20 minutes before closing. Wasn't…read moremade to feel bad about that. We were checked in with high technology and seen almost immediately by the nurse, and about 5 minutes later by an amazing Doctor with a great bedside manner and personality. He gave my son meds right there to bring his fever down, and out the door we went. Had prescription filled at the Rite Aid across the street (because it was snowing and we couldn't get back through traffic to our own CVS) and got right home. I will be going there today for myself. I only wished they were open at 1am when I started this excruciating ear pain. Definitely do not hesitate when needing medical walk in facilities. Staff was great - from check in to check out!! A+ I'll update later after I go for myself. I went for my ear on Sunday. The wait was a bit longer because it was an hour and a half after they opened and it was busier. Still not a big deal. Saw another amazing Doctor. Dr. Jefferson was so personable, friendly, and she was down to earth. Made me feel important. I did have a double ear infection. She wrote me an RX, and again I had them send it across to Rite Aid (which is actually a Walgreens inside). Dr. Jefferson will not disappoint!!! Loved her. She even gave me some natural remedies to help with the ear pain. (Plus the antibiotic) Treatment didn't work, saw an ENT who prescribed a DECONGESTANT (since I can't hear) I am now scheduled for surgery for ear tubes. No improvement since my visit here, and no response to meds.
