At 5:30, I was finally seen by the doctor. The doctor was fine, but when he left and I was left with the staff, they told me I could go check out at the front desk. I asked "what about my blood work?" To which they replied that I would need to come back in to do that because the lab closed at 5. I went to the front desk and they asked if I wanted to schedule my blood work. I told them I wouldn't be coming back because my time was not only wasted, it was disrespected. If you know a patient is coming in for blood work, WHY would you not do that before letting the lab close???? I highly recommend anyone looking for a Doctor's office that respects you and your time to look elsewhere.

I really like Dr Gupta but the PA that saw me today lead me to give only 1 Star. Why? Because she…read moreexamined me without using any gloves and when I expressed my concern, she completely dodged it twice! Did I also mention that she was sick and sniffling the whole time, and I did not see her use the hand sanitizer even once since she entered the room---So how am I supposed to trust where her hands were before she saw me? If you are reading this Dr. Gupta, please make sure your workers are practicing Aseptic Technique. I am strongly considering not going here anymore.

Overall excellent experience. Went to the emergency room for pain in my lower right abdomen turned…read moreout to be appendices. I had to have an appendectomy. All went well I was out in one day. I recommend to all patients who go to ANY hospital, you must ask questions. It will make your visit more comprehensible to you and your family. Know what meds you're getting, ask why is it being given, and ask about whatever you're diagnosed with. All questions are valid and help you and your team of doctors get the best care that's right for you. You have the right to refuse meds if you don't want them. It's all in your patient's bill of rights you sign upon arrival. The one thing that could have been improved on, was the communication of staff within themselves. I am lucky I'm not afraid to ask questions or question things. You must! it's your body and you should know what's being administered and why. Overall, this hospital was great. Dr's bedside manners were friendly and knowledgeable. The nurses were informative. I have to say I had a good experience considering I had to have surgery. I would definitely recomend this hospital!

I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this hospital if at all possible. My son was brought here…read moreby ambulance, so unfortunately we didn't have a choice because of where we were at the time and that's the only reason we ended up here. The ER experience was one of the worst I've ever had. Registration didn't even happen until 3 hours after we arrived, well into the visit. My son provided a urine sample that sat on a table the entire time and was never tested. While one nurse was a tad bit decent, the rest of the staff showed a shocking lack of professionalism and basic respect. Staff members (including security) were standing in the hallway laughing, having personal conversations, and at one point I heard someone ask a coworker, "Are you ready for your next victim?"--completely inappropriate in a medical setting. The cleanliness was unacceptable. I noticed red spots on the floor and brought it to a staff member's attention, concerned it was blood. I was told, "That's not blood, that's pizza sauce," and they walked away without addressing it. The bathrooms were in terrible condition! We saw urine on the floor, backed-up toilets, and even spider webs in the corners. The place smelled like old urine! There were patients in the hallway in beds because I guess they ran out of rooms? No privacy whatsoever!! It also felt like care was delayed due to a shift change--we were left waiting until the next staff came in rather than being properly attended to. Overall, the level of care was extremely poor, and my son's issue was never fully addressed. The most alarming part came after we left: I realized in addition to my sons discharge papers, I had been given another patient's discharge paperwork, including highly sensitive information like EKG and chest X-ray results, bloodwork, address, phone number, date of birth, medications, reason for his visit and medical history. I contacted risk management three times and never received a response. This experience was unacceptable from start to finish. I would not return here under any circumstances. Please, if you have a choice, go somewhere else.

A message is sent to you when you should head to the facility. Once you get the a very profesional and caring receptionist takes your name and your copay. 5 minutes later you are taken into a room and the person who takes you in proceeds to get the information about your visit. The dr. comes in 2 minutes later. Notice I say the DR. not THE PROVIDER. I needed X-rays the technician came in right away my expectations for the report time were set , 15 minutes. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Great profesional and caring service. Please do not go to CitiMD if you value your time and you want a profesional service. Also if you want to be seen by a dr. and not a PROVIDER whatever that means.

I went to AFC urgent care in lyndhurst.  What a waste of money! I wish I could get a refund for my $75 copay.  I clearly discussed my symptoms with the doctor.  I had a cough, fever, aches in my thighs, and I explained the crackling sounds when I lay down. I also told her that 10+ years ago I had bronchitis and another time I had a pneumonia.  Using the stethoscope she reassured me that my lungs were clear. (No xray) She said I had allergies and prescribed an allergy medication. After that visit I did not feel any better. In fact I felt worse. Two days later I went to my primary physician and he immediately heard the rattling sounds in my lungs and detected a pneumonia and sent me for Xrays. I got my results and my primary physician was right. He prescribed antibiotics, prednisone, and a cough medicine. Misdiagnosing a patient is unacceptable. I am not happy with AFC. I want a refund!
