You have the options of leaving stuff out on the curb but I couldn't do that because of my HOA. Also, last time I had left a desk that someone snatched up from the curb. I decided to check several hauling companies before settling on Pick Up Haulers. Chris was the…read moreonly company that actually had a verbal conversation with me so we would be on the same page . I had estimates from $200 to over 1K $$$ when I sent out a list of items I anticipated needed to be removed. One of the many things I liked about Pick Up Haulers is that they do their best to sort everything that they pick up and try to recycle it at the appropriate places instead of just taking it all to the landfill. They ended up spending more than a couple of hours lifting and carrying stuff out to their flatbed trailer /they also disassembled a trundle bed and were able to take it in the mattress to the truck . They determine their price based on the amount of space (? Cubic feet )We ended up using about 3/4 of their space on their large flatbed trailer and the fee was just a little over $300. I felt that was very fair for the services provided. Texas in May isn't usually quite as hot & humid as the Friday we moved. I enjoyed Chris and the young man that was his employee. They were very respectful and understood our situation. I would definitely use them again and plan to whenever we decide to move!! One thing I will say is that after this experience I definitely feel that less. (much less.!!) is more! LOL

Rudy with Hercules came out, took measurements of my foundation levels and found that my foundation had cracked in half. He explained what would be done and they gave me a fair deal. They had 8 guys come out and repaired my foundation in two days. The guys worked long hours to get it done right. Did lots of work and cleaned it up and had it back to normal before they left in two days. Great explanations of their work before and afterwards. Rudy was great and kept up with me while it was being done! Would definitely recommend them for Foundation repair! 5 stars!

After dealing with the most unprofessional people I have ever…read morehad to deal with, they were able to squeeze out a $500.00 discount just because they didn't like me sending in a review. On the fifth day of this three to four day job, they finally were able to almost finish the job late into the evening, resulting in me not being able to have the plumber there early to fix a pipe that they busted. ($400.00 extra). The last member of the contracted team said he would wait for the plumber to finish and he would get the hole buried. As it was already getting dark, he decided to head home and said to have the foreman call him tomorrow and he would come back out to bury the hole. I contacted the supervisor on Saturday and told him that all that was left was a large crack in the driveway that needed to be filled in and the large hole left by the crew. He said that the hole was not his problem and it needs to be filled in by the plumber and he would do nothing about the crack. It has now been over a week and I still have a large hole in the front yard and a pretty significant crack in the driveway. If you want excuses and apologies than this is definitely the company to use. If you want a professional job than I would suggest another company.
