DO NOT use this company. They do not do a borough job! The house we bought was listed as sewer but in fact we are on septic this company and in particular Thomas Novak did not even address this and his home inspection report whatsoever.
Do not use Keller Williams Novak Team Everett. As 1st time home buyers we were very excited to begin the search for our new home. We had to sign a 6 month exclusive with Chuck Weinberg.
After the first month it became very clear to us that because our range was in the $300's we were not important. We did all of the searching ourselves, and when we were sent listings they were the exact opposite of what we wanted. We wanted a yard - we'd be sent houses with no yard, etc.
They were recommended by family so we thought we were making a good choice by going through Keller Williams Novak Team. Boy were we wrong. He did not want to negotiate any thing for us. He water heater came back on inspection as being 20 years old he told us sellers would more than likely not replace it. They replaced it right away.
We made a full price offer as recommended by Chuck. We put a down payment. We had the home inspection through Summit Homes as recommended by KW. Long story short our house was left with over $15,000 of work needed done as the house was listed on sewer but we are actually on septic. He entire neighborhood is on septic. They do not even do minimal research on the home they are involved with. We've lived in our brand new house without a drain field for over 2 months with a teenager and a toddler. We can't do dishes or take baths and we have to drain our washing machine into buckets. It's been a complete nightmare.
Rachael and Mike Novak as well as Chuck dropped the ball on us. The refused to help us! They were aware of this major issue and didn't even bother to reach out or is. They got their money and washed their hands of us.
Thankfully the sellers agent Windermere David Maider (Owner) is a stand up business man with integrity and took care of this issue after months of getting now where with this "team". David offered to split the cost (with him taking the majority of the expense) but they just ignored his calls and refused to help.
These people take the easy money and if an issue arises you can bet you'll be left out in the cold to figure it out yourself.
They were hired and paid in full to represent us and our best interests when buying our first home and they failed miserably. I really hope no one else goes through the experience we had with these people. read more
