We test drive a couple of vehicles, asked for a loan approval and left town for the weekend. We had an appointment to pick our purchased vehicle up on Monday. The vehicle was ready to go and we finished our paperwork and were out of there within an hour. The whole experience was pleasant. As we were filling out our paperwork we learned that oil changes would be $20 as they pay for the oil for all customers who purchase a vehicle from them. Over the years when we have purchased vehicles from The larger dealerships it has taken 2-3 hours to complete the purchase. We appreciated the fast service we received and everyone there was friendly and personable. Plus, we also felt like we got a great deal on our purchase. I would not Hesitate to stop off at this dealership first when looking for a new/used vehicle.

I put the money down and was communicating back and fourth with a sales rep over the weekend. The rep pumped up the vehicle proclaiming how good of a deal it was. On Tuesday I drove 2 1/2 hours to view this "great" vehicle and I let the rep know exactly when I would be there. Upon arrival, the rep seemed frantic. He informed me that the truck should have been detailed but never was. The truck has covered in dog hair. Each side of the front bumper was scratched. The bed was quite beat up. The truck had a few surface rust spots and the underbody was rusted very badly for a 3-4 year old vehicle. I couldn't help but think, "how do you not look at a vehicle that I called about 4 days ago." Waste of my time. Waste of my money. Poor quality vehicle at an overpriced asking price. I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

When she…read morebrought it to our mechanic, he called and said there were many issues with the vehicle. 1)First and foremost was the wrong engine in the vehicle to which whomever swapped the motor took a grinder and ground down the engine block to make it fit. 2) Next the air compressor is not attached to anything and flops around the engine compartment because once again wrong motor covers up the anchors for the compressor. 3) there are at least 4 different sensor wires that are not attached to anything so we don't know how the wrong engine is performing. 4) the timing chain/belt is worn and when you move from a dead stop you can hear it whine. 5) the engine and transmission don't line up properly so when you give it some gas you can hear the the grinding of the gears. I would not recommend this place to anyone! Even if you're my worst enemy. Called The owner explained what our mechanic found and he tried to turn it on us that Chausee's automotive which is a trusted shop in Sun Prairie (been in business for over 40 years) was wrong and didn't know what they were talking about. I went to school with the owner. Next we set up an appointment so his mechanic could look at it. Called the night before and changed the time. I called back and he never responded and haven't heard from him since. Please don't throw your hard earned money away at this place.

However, the second I drove this car off the lot it has been nothing but a lemon and I can not wait to get rid of this car. I bought this car with 68K miles on, pretty low miles considering the year it was and really it appeared to me in mint condition. I have not put a lot of miles on it but I have sunk a ton of money into this vehicle to be able to get it to a point where I can sell it. Mind you they are not a Mercedes dealership but I did hear from one of the employees the owner likes to pick up these older luxury cars, that's great in all but they should be more aware of these vehicles if they are going to sell them. I have not driven this car a lot because all of the problems I have had with it and especially the suspension which is a major deal. All in all they are nice enough to buy from but in a world where used cars are at a high value, step in with caution or ask as many questions as possible and do your own research!

I do give Easton Motors a little credit for reaching out to me in response to my negative review…read more Beyond that, no, my opinion has not changed. Here is some background story: Despite my better judgement, I financed a car through Easton (for a much higher than average interest rate and high monthly payment) because I needed transportation and did not have any savings at the time. The staff was exceedingly friendly and accommodating while trying to sell the car to me. However, two months later, I was laid off. Looking ahead, I called Easton right away to try to make alternate payment arrangements. They wouldn't return my calls, and when I WAS able to get them on the phone to discuss finances, both the local rep and the owner that I spoke to were rude and insulting. They refused to give any accommodations or extensions at all, and repossessed the car as soon as they were able. If they would have worked with me at all, I would've been able to keep the car since it only took me one month to find a better and higher paying job. Instead, they got to resell the same car (for the same price, I'm sure) and now I'll be working for years to repair the hit that my credit score took. Bottom line: Your best friend during the sales process, then will throw you under the bus.

I don't see how the prices could be that far apart on 2 similar vehicles but what ever. We have had the car over 3 years and other than the head gaskets going out (which I fixed myself) its been a good car for the most part. I will say that if you are like hours late on a payment they will call freaking out. I forgot to transfer money from my account to the one the payment comes from and they blew up my phone like I was trying to steal the car. We pay every 2 weeks and haven't missed a payment in over 3 years. Also we switched Insurance carriers and with in a day we had papers we were in default. They didn't even give us a chance to get them the new info before freaking out. our car will be paid for in the next year and I wont by from there again. If you want to pay 19k for a car that's worth 6-8k and had 100k miles or over on it knock yourself out.

Had an outstanding experience working with Mike Jole at Countryside Ford!…read more What set Mike apart from salespeople at other dealerships was his attention to detail and follow-through when providing information. Mike had the truck I asked about waiting inside the nice warm shop when I arrived. (it was a cold and windy day) He methodically went through every feature on the truck before my test drive. This really helped my decision-making process as I parked the truck during my test drive and spent about a half hour playing with all the features Mike had showed me. (navigation, Ford Sync, etc.) He also had a no pressure approach and told me to take as long as I wanted on the test drive. Another example, when I first talked to Mike on the phone, one of the many questions I had was what was included in the tow package for the 2.7 EcoBoost. He didn't know but said he would look into it. When I walked into Countryside one of the first things Mike did was hand me an itemized list of everything included with the tow package. I had not been able to find that detailed info anywhere on the Ford website and other dealers I talked to never provided the correct / complete answer. Mike said the only way he could find the info was to build a truck from scratch on the Ford website and take note of the items as they populated. When it came to price, Countryside beat all dealers within 100 miles of my address. (using the mileage filter on Ford's website to search for a F150 2.7L EcoBoost, 302a, with tow package) They even took my request and knocked a couple hundred bucks off to match the price of a similar F150 on their lot. (this was on the day I picked up the truck, almost a week after I made my initial deposit. I was already committed, they didn't have to do this, but they did anyway) Combine that great price with a salesman like Mike Jole along with the flexibility of the leadership team at Countryside and it was a no brainer to drive an hour and a half to purchase my new Ford F150 from them! Thank-you for providing an awesome customer experience!

purchased $30K SUV a week ago. 2018. Sales person Ben I believe was very good. Actually made my…read moreexperience enjoyable, but he had a lot to do with it. Had 20K miles and a has a few months left on new car warranty. Dealer paperwork indicated the vehicle was inspected. But day when Ben had off, I was passed off to 2 other sales persons. Under hood, the battery looked like a bomb had gone off around it. Corrosive material coming off battery and scattered. Then after test drive I indicated the collision warning system and intelligent cruise was not working. After being told it did, they admitted it didn't. Ben got it to local Nissan dealer who repaired it same day. Canadian Murano had dual temp indicators reading in Celsius, and I asked to change it for me, and was told it was still under Nissan warranty. So I scheduled it to go in. I couldn't find a way in settings to change it. Maybe Countryside knows something I don't? Verdicts out. After I purchased SUV, I got an uneasy feeling. At 66 years old. And a man that has bought many cars new and old, I didn't feel good about this purchase and still on fence about it. Buyer beware. I hope Countryside helps with any costs if new factory warranty doesn't apply. After a week I also discovered the digital speedometer doesn't match the stick speedometer on gauge, about 3 MPH difference, hmm. Nissan appointment soon, and I will update this review if I get support from Countryside if I get stuck paying on anything not covered under NISSAN warranty. My wife and I were lead to believe all is covered under new car warranty. Just take it to Nissan. Uneasy feeling yet. Will be going back to Countryside for service to discuss what Nissan tells me. Not positive Countryside sets cars up with customers in mind. Why not have it taken to Nissan dealer and have it ready to sell. They were asking top dollar for it. I'm not sure if they were honest when I asked questions about this SUV. Lastly insist on a Carfax, not what they give you (Auto Check). Hope I have helped. I really thought going to a this friendly looking dealer could be a enjoyable experience. When you ask a question you should expect an honest answer. Maybe stick with Zimbrick, to me very reputable. I will update this review. And will change review and stars if needed. Had a sit down with Sales and GM. Result was they might be able to find a similar SUV built in US and trade this one out.
