We were not upset over the 2008 downturn as that was "across the board" but even several years after that, performance was dismal. We transferred everything to another advisor and our portfolio took off like a rocket that is still soaring. Furthermore, our advisory fees are thousands less since we left The Financial Consulate. Tax preparation by The Financial Consulate was a nightmare each and every year. Each and every year it was necessary to examine our prepared return line by line to correct mistakes. So glad we got away! My reason for this review is that very recently I was reminded that at one time I strongly endorsed this organization and I must now withdraw that endorsement.

I have been to countless educational and community related events that they kindly host at their spectacular office. Some firms are cool and in it for the money.
