She took time to get to know my situation and has always been on the lookout for ways I can save $$. She really knows her stuff and to this day, I look forward to my annual visit to her office. And I HATE number crunching in general, so this is like you looking forward to your next visit to the dentist... Even at tax crunch time, Liz and her staff are responsive and I can tell you that, you won't get that anywhere else. Now let me talk about price. Is she "cheap"? Nope. Is she crazy expensive? Nope. You know that sweet spot where you pay a fair price, but still get great service, and you walk away wanting to go tell a few friends about them? That is Liz and Harper Advisory Group.

I looked at several websites and then finally stumbled on Liz's. I reviewed her website and read through everything and was really impressed with what I saw. What stood out to me the most is the information on her homepage. Here is one thing... "I am not your fathers tax accountant. This is not a cold business of just numbers and law. I've spent a lifetime building relationships and working for the finest people I know, our clients." When I read that I knew that this person had a heart and compassion and would be able to help me. As I mentioned that was several years ago and I've gone to her every year since. Liz is kind, she is helpful, and she digs in and gets to know you so she can do the best job for you. But most importantly she's uber smart about tax law and she rolls up her sleeves and gets to work. I highly recommend her... And have to many people!

Avoid at all costs!!! These guys are the WORST insurance agents I have ever encountered…read more I came to Saratoga Insurance when my previous insurance agent, Doug Seitz, sold his business. I had an auto insurance policy, and the rest of my family members used Doug for all of our insurance needs. Doug was a great insurance agent and it's unfortunate that Saratoga has run his business away. Their representatives do not respond to phone calls, emails, smoke signals, or carrier pigeons. How anyone gets in touch with them is beyond me. After a particular awful experience with Linda (who nearly let my auto insurance lapse from her lack of communication), I reached out to Ryan, who is listed as the VP on the website. He assured me that he would not only work to earn my business back, since I had purchased insurance elsewhere before my current policy expired, but would also get me a quote by the end of that particular day for auto insurance. Guess what? Never heard from him. My parents had a similar experience with their homeowner's insurance, and after 30 years with Doug, and then Saratoga, had to find a new insurance broker, who wrote them the SAME policy with the SAME insurance company, because Ryan and his crew stopped responding to emails and phone calls. The whole point of using an insurance broker, in my opinion, is to have someone else who will do some of the legwork for you-- find lower rates, answer questions about policies, etc. These guys do NONE of that, and they can't even respond to emails or phone calls. I can't imagine they'll be in business much longer, and rightfully so.
