He suggested scents I hadn't considered, and they worked beautifully with my favorite scents. After creating your perfect scent ratio, the oils are blended into wax, and left to set for 2-3 hours. Our scent specialist, Mikey was super helpful! They had everything prepared for our ladies to partake in the session and the instructions were on the card which was super cute since it also had a 'Thank You' at the back in support of their small business. You put your name and select which item you want to make. I chose a room spray since I have SO MANY candles at home! Mikey had us choose which container (room spray only had one kind) but candles had a variety. I wanted to make the reed diffuser initially but they were sold out! Next, they had a variety of scents on the wall so you could write those on your card and star your faves! Coffee beans were provided to help with your nose since you smell so many scents! Mikey was so patient with all of us and walked us through the process! I was super pleased with my scents. He evaluated each of our cards, asked us what kinds of scents we are into, and then gathered 3-4 essential oils to smell -- you can mix and match. You can omit one or add another depending on your preferences. We left with cute little bags! It was such a wonderful experience! It's a little pricey but definitely worth it.

That's some darn good customer service for a seasonal job! Until this year Calendar Club was located in the upper levels of Westlake Center. It took some searching since it now located in the lowest level (and is not listed on the directory, though it is listed online). The new space is larger, presumably to house the "Go Games" component. This is new and I didn't really check it out but if you are looking for a board game for yourself or a gift, there is a huge selection here. I didn't see many games I recognized, so maybe this is more for new games than classics? There were also two very large stuffed animal tigers by the entrance, so if you've been searching for such a thing, you my panthera tigris loving friend are in luck!! It smells exactly like the best honey boba drink ever. Of course, when it came time to buy a birthday gift for a friend, I thought about The Remonant and specifically made a trip down to get a Honey Boba candle for her since she loves boba and sweet scents. The full size candles are packaged in such a luxurious way with a black ribbon and a cool matte heavyweight cardboard. It feels so mature, even though this is a more fun scent. I could just pop this in a gift bag and be done since the packing is so nice. On the drive back, the aroma of the candle filled my car and I regretted not getting a candle for myself lol. It was a nice day today and so parking was kind of hard to find. There's a small parking area in front that was absolutely full. I had to park in a 15 min take out spot for the restaurant next door so I didn't get to chat with the owner unfortunately as I was worried about getting ticketed/towed, but it sounds like they are expanding their selection of scents. I wonder if they could get a dedicated parking spot for the shop? It might not be possible though, but would be helpful for shoppers. I want to check out their candle-making classes in the future!

I was immediately drawn in by the beautiful candles and accessories. They had these really cute claw clips with animals, custom luxury combs and brushes, local organic skincare products, and amazing candles and fragrances. Their candle scents are things I have rarely seen before- so creative! I wanted a rose candle and there were 3-4 totally different options. I ended up getting kind of a musky rose one and it smells like nothing I have ever smelled. The staff member who helped me was so cool ! They are black-owned, women-owned, and just have an amazing vibe. Would definitely come back to get gifts for friends or to even do a custom candle making class!

Upon walking in there was a large selection of handmade…read morejewelry, the amazing associate told us that every piece in the shop was handmade by women and immigrants. Additionally, the shop was a nonprofit organization with all of the funds going back to the artists and to help women and immigrants take business classes in Seattle. There were probably around 8-12 different artists with prices ranging from 20-100 dollars. Great business with a great mission!

It's a little jewel tucked away under the market action. There were so many interesting things, i had trouble choosing! I decided on a couple of silkscreened tea towels. I collect (and use) quirky tea towels, so it was a treat. This is a terrific place in the market for souvenirs because you get both truly local stuff and do some good while you are at it.
