Formally the location of the beloved restaurant Spagio, the entire space has been rethought into a taco and tequila restaurant. The food selections here are handcrafted and well-made. The entire space is conducive to group gatherings, or intimate conversations. I think it makes a pretty good option for a date night, particularly because after you finish dinner, there are some other things that you can do here on the Grandview Avenue strip. For example: attend a movie, pour custom scented candles, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and conversation, have a sweet treat of ice cream at one of several vendor locations, or retire to another bar for cocktails. This is a great entertainment district and Agave & Rye adds to the roster of great places from which to choose.

They were understaffed. It looked like they had 4 servers and 1 bartender. We waited about 15 minutes for our server to come over, so we ordered right away wondering if service would be slow. When the food got here it was cold, and our drinks weren't ready until the meal was half way through. I always order the Rooster, the Happy Meal, and the Crown Jewel. The mac n cheese on both tacos had solidified since it was not hot/warm. I took one bite and figured we could warm them up at home (fearing it would be another long wait if asked for them to be heated) so we waited another 15 minutes until we saw our server and asked for to go boxes and the check. After we paid and she brought the boxes she acknowledged the birthday as we were standing up to leave and got a tiramisu cake to go. There is lots of seating, a good bar area, and follows the same punk/hip-hop eccentric interior design as the other locations

I'm glad I stopped here--despite being a "chain," it exceeded expectations. Service was impressively quick. I started with the "Hot & Juicy" cocktail--excellent--and ended up ordering a second after dinner. The salsa roja had a nice kick and came with plenty of chips (easily enough for two). I made the rookie mistake of ordering two tacos--they're huge. One would have been plenty. The "Swipe Right" was the standout; the "Gangsta" was good, though the beef could've been cut into smaller, more manageable pieces. Overall, a very solid meal. Total with tip: about $70.

The food was creative and tasty there are many options on the menu including Kangaroo, yes kangaroo! I didn't have that but what o did have was good, you'd likley be full after tacos and you likely so not need more Than two but for kicks and fun go all in you won't regret. The restaurant is creative and fun to look at it, you'll notice something different at every glance, the nose level is medium to high. All in all I enjoyed it and would go back if for some reason I have to be in Columbus again.

My wife and daughter both have Celiac, and finding a restaurant that has a proper gluten-free protocol in place is always a challenge. Most of the menu at Sueno is naturally gluten-free, and the kitchen staff has repeatedly proven their ability to properly prepare a safe space for us to dine. This is one of the best restaurants in Dayton, and one of the first places we now bring visitors. Highly recommend.

My very picky husband ate every bite of everything placed in front of him. He's like Mikey from Life cereal, if he likes it, pay attention. :D Well, he loved it. The valet parking makes it so easy, just drop off your car & no worrying about finding a decent, safe place to park, plus no walking in the cold/snow/rain/darkness. The valets were very personable and professional. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully designed. They have poured a great deal of planning, design and money into the decor and it shows. The servers were all exceptional. The hostess was very pleasant and talked to us excitedly about the musical we saw. Our server was friendly, efficient and accurate. She checked in on us regularly, kept our drinks filled, and was so good at her job. Manager came by the table to ensure we were having a good experience. I had the delicious carne asada which was perfectly charred on the outside and made even better by the crunchy bits of flaky salt. My husband had the enchiladas verde, and ate every bite. We had their incredible house made chips and salsa of the day, which was quite spicy, and garlicky and a bit smoky. I found myself wishing there was a tamale option on the menu because I bet they'd be really good with that house made masa. Our cocktails were good. The basque cheesecake was out of this world, and even the coffee was extra good. All the way home my husband commented on how great the meal was and what a good experience we had at Sueno. I'm so glad we finally made it there! Thank you to everyone who made our evening out special.

They were out of two cocktails I wanted to try so when I didn't have a third option picked out the guy seemed annoyed. There was a girl that had ordered food to go. The manager had to help her. At some point her food was set at the end of the bar, she had to get it herself. No one even noticed she took it. My sister ordered the apple brie grilled cheese. It was good while it was hot, but as it cooled down it became inedible. The onions became soggy and congealed together. I ordered the Cuban sandwich. Overall, I thought it was good but nothing fancy. The fries were cold and hard. This was a disappointing experience overall but I was sorely disappointed in how poor the service was and how annoyed the bartenders seemed to be.
