Parking was easy to find, the lot is shared with the rest of the small strip mall anchored by a CVS. The young lady who took my order over the phone also greeted me when I entered. She was so nice, helpful and detailed when explaining the menu. The inside of the restaurant appeared clean and welcoming for dining in. They offer chilled and room temperature Chinese flavored waters, Japanese marble sodas, Thai tea, soda and sparkling water. My wife and kids wanted Chicken Teriyaki $10.75 - the lunch portion came with veggies and rice. The portion was small, but they all enjoyed the flavors and said the chicken was fresh. I had ordered the Shoyu Ramen (Chashu pork) Corn, nori, boiled egg, kikurage and scallion at $14.75. The noodles were a big glob and had to be broken up. The broth was spicy, delicious and made up for the noodles. The pork was two thinly sliced medallions that were juicy and flavorful. I made three bowls of soup with the portion, so it was plenty for a second/third meal. I also ordered the Yummy Yummy Roll off the special roll menu $14.75 - Shrimp tempura, cream cheese, avocado, salmon, eel sauce, spicy mayo & tobiko. It didn't hold together well and was ok/good. I would try another roll if I return. Their menu is pretty extensive with Japanese offerings of soups, salad, yakitori, sushi/sashimi, gyoza, hibachi meals, bento box meals, udon, ramen, etc. If I have a return trip I would eat in if having ramen, but the take out experience was good. I'll say it again the young lady working there was patient and an absolute pleasure to deal with! Thanks guys!

That said, undeterred we were seated a a booth and pleasantly surprised the rest of the way. We all started with teas. I had the iced hibiscus tea and it was wonderful and refreshing after an exhausting day. It had a mild natural sweetness, but no sugary flavoring. For an app we ordered the seafood pajun. It was a bit cakier that I would have liked but it was delicious nonetheless. Nice big chunks of seafood in every bight. And for mains, we ordered a few large sushi rolls, along with some wakame (seaweed salad). And all was very good. Big chunks of fish, not too overdone with dressings or sauces. And the staff was very friendly. The owner came by to check on us as we wrapped up our meal and she was very sweet. Overall the environment was open, clean, and the ambiance was just what I was hoping for. Will try to stop in when I'm through that way again.

We were seated promptly at our reservation time. The restaurant itself gives standard hibachi vibes, with grills, big tables that seat about 8 people and the expectation that you're going to be seeing shrimp tails flying into hats or the hibachi chef starting an onion volcano. Unfortunately, the vibe felt very flat once we realized there would be no show of anything due to the restrictions of the other family seated at our table. *FOOD* The quality of the food was just okay. With the hibachi dinners, in addition to your selection of a main, usually comes with a soup, salad, shrimp appetizer and ice cream. However, the food wasn't memorable where I need to run back here. *SERVICE* Our waitress was very attentive and did a great job of explaining things as it was our first time there. There is a 18% service charge for parties of 2 or more and you get a 3% discount if paying in cash. For the price and expectations of a hibachi steakhouse, I was hoping for a better overall experience. While I understand accommodating certain restrictions of other parties, it was frustrating that this meant the entire table missed out on the experience without any prior warning or alternative option that should've been mentioned to us before we sat down. Overall, hibachi is as much about the show as it is about the food and missing that really took away from the experience. Combined with the average food, I probably would not return.

The inside is set up for dining, but these days it looks like they are a takeout place. The sushi bar seats are gone and some of the booths were full of back stock, to-go packaging and menus. They gave me a 25 min time for pickup, but were delayed. When I arrived there was a line of 8 or so people waiting for orders. The staff was nice, but busy. The sushi chef was busy working away on orders. I've heard good things about their sushi, so I'll have to try it on another visit. As for their food, the General Tso's was a good portion, not spicy even though I asked for it spicy and overall it was typical for most places. I would order it again, but my regular spot is better. The Teriyaki chicken smelled wonderful, was a good portion, but the chicken was a little chewy with poor texture. It came with a small miso soup that was good. The pork lo mein gave my wife a headache. They use MSG here. I had the leftovers and again just ordinary lo mein. Their house broth in the wonton soup is darker and possibly a beef broth. It was a little on the sweeter side. Their rice was dry and forgettable, but it's just plain white rice, so mixing it in with the dishes yielded some flavor. Price to feed everyone was over $50 with some pork eggrolls, which I didn't try. Aside from possibly trying their sushi, I don't see a reason to stray from my usual joint, however from the volume of take out orders I witnessed while I was waiting, they must be popular for the area. If they use MSG (no notice on menu that they don't), I wouldn't repeat.

We immediately ordered a few appetizers to start and the beef Negamaki was delicious but very very hot temperature wise. It is tender beef cooked to perfection and it has scallions or green onions inside The roll. It has a delicious glaze and the price is very decent. When you walk in you can choose sushi or hibachi or you can also just sit at a table. It's very tidy and the service is very prompt and good. They have a decent team there the place is pretty simply decorated, but it is very nice and it's been consistent for a long time. They have half price sushi rolls and they are really great value for the price and the size I've never had a bad meal. Here The green tea is OK but taste almost like rice. It's kind of weird but I took my husband and we enjoyed the shrimp Shumai and we also enjoyed the udon noodles with chicken And a few other entrées. He got the mango roll and it was very surprisingly delicious. I got two other rolls and they kind of had a citrus flavor, which was unexpected but pleasant. I forget the other roll, but it was similar to shrimp tempura it was very delicious. I also ordered a spicy tuna roll. It was very delicious. We can't wait to come back.

A few of the rolls that were my favorite were off the new menu but they still accommodate and made it for me. I told the staff I wanted to pick everything up by 2pm and by 145 they told me my order was just ready and asking when I would be there for pickup. The staff also gave us some free miso soup due to the big order we had. The appetizers were very good and each order was place separately even tho things were duplicate. The food that day, most of them tasted usual but some sushi (the rice was a little hard for me) not sure if it was overcooked rice or was it old. It was kinda dry. Overall the food was not bad. I just skipped the rice to those part and ate the fish since that was very fresh.
