Let me start by saying it is a hole in the wall. If you're looking for IG pics, probably not the spot. If you are looking for good hookah...come here! The hookah is on point. They have their usual crowd and then they have the new crowd on weekends. It's a nice mix. It's probably the smoothest hookah available in the Piscatway, Edison, Iselin, New Brunswick area. I have other hookah reviews up where lounges in the area did not take care of their usuals via either up charges, bad service or crazy enough not enough heating/cooling (bad temp). This place is cozy (good temp), the service is nice and the hookah is great. Also, the food is not bad either. Its not phenomenal, but its good enough. Helps in the winter when you don't want to run out for food. Also, if the kitchens not open, you can bring your own food. I feel like the policy gives you best of options. The prices are great too. Its less than or the same as its competitors for a superior product. About $22 w/ tip for a regular hookah (bluemist w/ pan raas) and one water . Last wkend we stood at the door with 5 friends for 10 minutes. Place had maybe 2 people there but staff had a group of friends sitting with them and their phones and laptops and not once looked up. We walked in closer and one of the staff looked at me and said something to another staff member or friend and still ignored us. We tried a second time and same careless service. This is not the first time I had a bad experience here. We went to the source hookah lounge instead and they had top notch service and hookah. Never again going to sultana. read more

This place is probably , actually the worst hookah place in the face of the earth. First of all, the managed is the synonym of garbage, and the shisha tastes just like it. 2nd of all, you're required to buy a drink which is unnecessary. And 3rd of all, the customer is never right. read more

This is always my first choice out of the 3 hookah lounges I know of in Bethlehem. The service is faster than Hookah Turkah (for most things) and it is quieter as a whole than Essence. Yes, the music can get a little loud at times but after a song or two it quiets down. After ordering a decent chunk of the menu over a period of time, there are certain things to stay away from (the falafel for example) but others can be tasty, like the sandwiches. It takes a while for the food to come out though. They also have a $2 drink minimum but the selection is plentiful (I recommend the hot tea with mint or their hazelnut coffee, YUM!) Another plus for me is the fact that smoking cigarettes is allowed inside. I'm not a huge hookah fan and being able to have a cigarette while my friends puff on their hookah is a big plus. The ventilation is adequate and so far I've never heard anyone take issue with it. The staff's attention can be difficult to get and I feel like there are new people every time I go but they're always friendly and knowledgable for the time they've put in working. There's one man who is always there, I'm unsure if he is the owner but we are always greeted with a warm welcome and friendly conversation. This is definitely my favorite under 21 hangout, as I'm 19 and have limited options. Always a nice place to relax and have a nice night with friends. Many flavors on the menu ranging from $10-15 and they can even do two different fruit hookahs! Definitely recommend! read more

This place is fantastic to sit down and relax after a long day. The whole staff is extremely friendly and make you feel welcomed right as you step inside. The owner is the sweetest, cuddliest and most lovable person that you can hug all day long. :D The music is not loud at all which I find a big plus . The lighting is very dim which makes it a good spot for a date ;) Not only does this hookah lounge have great tasting hookah it also offers very well prepared food and hot beverages, like the hot hazelnut coffee I would definitely recommend to anyone. So I have to say this place is definitely the best around hookah is on point considering that iam a hookah head this was 100% on and it wasn't even a fresh head which they do offer . Since we are new in town this was our first visit to sultana. I was very pleased with the customer service they provide. Both WEI and JULIA were nice to us. They made us comfortable so that we can enjoy the atmosphere and the perk was that they gave 1 hookah on house on our first visit. As a first time visitor to Lehigh valley, I was actually quite impressed with this lounge. The hookah was certainly fresh with a wide variety of flavors offered. We had some trouble at first, the hookah came off as super weak initially but after a worker adjusted the coals and pipe it was good to go. It's a decent sized place with good music- whether you have a party of two or ten, it's a comfy chill spot. The only downsides were there was a cover even though it wasn't super packed when we came in and they don't serve alcohol. But, I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again-super chill spot, and pretty comparable to some Hookah spots in NYC! read more

Excellent atmosphere. Used to go to Turka until their service fell off the map. Found this lounge and couldn't be happier. Owner and staff are great. The place is clean and seating is the best of any hookah lounge I've been to. Flavors are great and bold. Not too strong and certainly not weak. The DJs on Saturday night are excellent, playing great music all night long. Certainly my new go-to in Bethlehem. Worth every penny. read more

Pros: Nice clean appearance Relatively comfortable seats and chairs New music at a reasonable volume Good flavor selection Great hookahs and hoses(premium) Nice local servers Very reasonable prices Cons: Garbage instant light coals(any reputable shop should offer natural coconut coals) Tobacco isn't packed quite correct but smokable. Only one or two workers so if busy could create slow service. Overall, I would go again since no one offers natural, coconut coals in Bethlehem unfortunately. Average but nice. read more

There is one HUGE problem with this place if you are over 21, they say on their website they are BYOB, BUT when you get there and sit down they tell you they are not. TERRIBLE. The place itself seemed ok but definitely an under 21 crowd and more like a dance club with techno music and flashing lasers and lights, definitely not a tradditional hookah experience. The server seemed completely clueless so we left after about 5 minutes and went over to the North Side establishment. If your looking for a BYOB place, this is definitely not for you. read more

I enjoy this place a loooot. Pronounced lot. Not lewt. I come to this hookah bar whenever I don't want my eardrums to be raped as I am not a fan of any part of my body being excessively violated. There is a charging station at every booth which is fantastic, otherwise this review would not be being written. The owner is a guy that welcomes new and regular customers with open arms, a huge smile, and lots of respect. Any food that we order is made hot and fresh and drinks hit the spot. Spot on. What I order from here is the dragon hookah because it instantly gives me the ability to breathe fire but I wouldn't recommend it to inexperienced smokers because you might burn your top lip and eyebrows. They would do well in a larger city but seem to have a good following here as well. This was a great hookah lounge. I had a really great time here awhile back. There is a ton of space, an upstairs and a downstairs, and the crowd that comes here is pretty cool too. I like the brand of hookah they use, it's not to strong and stinky. It still has a nie strong way about it though. Horrible Service! I have been going in there twice a week to purchase shisha and coals to go. Everytime I went I used my credit card, about 3 weeks ago I went on a Monday night and the guy working said that they only take cash for to go purchases. I thought this was odd since I had been there 10+ times all paying with card. I went and got cash and came back because they have good prices. After paying for my purchase, I watched the guy open the register but never put the money in. So the next Monday I went back to buy again. This time I had my girlfriend buy, he had no problem taking her card since there was another worker there standing next to him. I went again tonight, and went to pay by card and again he said cash only. So I confronted him about taking the card last week, and he completely denied the incident. Never again will I go there. This gentleman is robbing this store of business, as I am a twice a week customer spending the upwards of $20 - $30 per trip. To bad for them there are 2 other hookah lounges within a mile! read more
