Pad Thai is on point. Have had a few other dishes that were also really good but the pad Thai is still my favorite so far. Have only done take out so can only comment on the food and not on the dine in service. Only minor issue I've had is that I wish their to go containers were a bit more spill proof. Not enough to knock a star off but meant to hopefully nudge them to look at other options. The containers they use aren't cheap either, they just don't hold liquid well if it tips slightly in transport. I've learned to keep it on the floorboard in the way home just in case. Another great addition to Sultan. Glad they're here and hope they prosper. read more

instead of just admitting that they need to raise their prices, they have decided to just give you less food and charge you the same. this has happened to me twice and I will not go back again. food is expensive, just be upfront about the change in cost instead of gaslighting me and telling me I'm wrong. read more

I started to wonder if the ingredients of the restaurants in Sultan are in general great as they may have a lot of local farmers' supplies. The chicken was very tender and flavorful. Hubby went to get us food from Sultan Thai. I had the pork and rice #2 spice level. Excellent taste and textures. Great portions. Hubby had a chicken and rice dish 3 spice level. He loved his too. Would DEFINITELY recommend this place. read more

We are on vacation from SoCal where Thai restaurants are in abundance, so we're always excited when we find a good one while traveling, and Sultan is good! We began with the Shrimp salad, which is craveable! Nine grilled shrimp (w tails) on a lettuce bed with tasty dressing, red onion, cilantro, toasted and crushed peanuts. Stopped here spontaneously after a morning at Osprey Park. Pleasantly surprised! Some of the best Calamari we've had. Cup of soup was fragrant and tasty. I had to try multiple times to get clarification re: whether the Tom Kha soup had dairy or animal product in it because whoever answered the phone sounded unsure but then wouldn't ask anyone else until I asked directly for clarification - two times. Additionally, once I got the soup, it did taste suspiciously buttery (or an extra extra savory flavor) & I wondered if it had MSG in it, knowingly or unknowingly. I am fairly sensitive to MSG and I got ill after eating this soup. I also thought the soul was WAY too sweet. read more

The other day, my friend and I had take-out dinner from this delightful new restaurant. My favorite dish is pineapple fried rice, which I've had here before. The serving is very generous and amounts to three helpings for me. Their chicken is tasty and plentiful, and the dish is laced with onions, carrots and fried egg. Unfortunately, in the couple of months the restaurant has been open, the chefs have become stingy with the pineapple and have begun substituting ingredients not on the menu. I had to dig to find any pineapple and discovered only six chunks in the entire dish. It's great fried rice, but really, don't call it pineapple if there's basically none there. On a previous visit, my friend was served a dish with lots of bell peppers, which don't agree with her and aren't even listed on the menu as ingredients. She also had to request a side dish that was supposed to accompany the meal. I previously gave this place 5 stars, but am downgrading to 4 now. I only hope their other dishes haven't changed since the restaurant opening. Please folks, return to the high level of quality you began with! read more

Pretty bland 'Thai' food. Tastes like your standard, run of the mill fake Thai stuff found pretty much everywhere these days. Nothing 'wow' or unique about the flavor profiles. My boyfriend and I loooove Thai food so we were very pleased to find a place closer to home that's so good. I agree with a previous review that the Phad Thai has way too much sauce and is too sweet, but otherwise everything we ate was delicious. We had the sampler appetizer and the peanut curry as well. Absolutely loved both. Probably my favorite Thai curry I've ever had. Also the peanut sauce is to die for and my favorite peanut sauce of any of the Thai places in the area. I went the other day and order number 51 and the Tum Yum noddle soup and a Thai tea. Well when I left on my way to the doctors I noticed I didn't get the number 51, I called and told them and came back and again after I left I just got the noodles for the soup??
