Been going for a year now, and came in for a haircut for homecoming and asked for just a little…read moreshorter on the sides, implying that I wanted maybe an inch or an inch and a half off the sides and told the barber that I wanted my bangs cut just a little shorter. He responded by asking if I wanted a 1, which I assumed meant 1 inch off since I hadn't explicitly told him I wanted about an inch off. I told him yes, because I wasn't informed what a 1 was. I assumed that it was a 1 inch off, since I'd been going for a year now and had 0 issues. The entire sides and back of my head are now looking like I got a complete buzz, and the top is still basically just as long as it was to begin with. It looks like I got a bowl cut on the top and buzzed everything else. Barber didn't make me pay, and I wouldn't have paid anyways after that kind of service. Please either tell your customers what the terminology means, or start cutting small amounts and go further if the customer says. You can't undo cut hair but you can cut it shorter if they ask. Thoroughly disappointed, unlikely to come again.
