They have both table and traditional floor seatings, and we opted to settle onto the cozy cushions on the ground. We ordered the medium mezze plate, chicken and rice, and grape juice. Every mezze was delicious, but my favorites have to be the eggplant and the spicy pepper dip. As for the chicken and rice, the chicken was melt-in-your mouth tender, but what surprised me the most was the rice. Although it may look like your standard rice, it must have been cooked in a rich chicken broth for it was incredibly savory! Overall, this was a unique dining experience. It was a great way to end our trip to Goreme.

We got a few of their other dishes and they were also really good. The ambiance is really nice. I will say that there is a slight smell because a neighbor has camels, and they emit a certain odor. We ate indoors and it was barely noticeable, but it was quite strong outside. The service is also really great; it was one guy doing the service, but he was really good! Definitely check this place out if you can.

We came for the views and were not disappointed! There was open air patio and indoor seating options. One caveat about sitting inside by the glass windows yellow jackets that flew inside would keep trying to leave by banging into the glass. Staff eventually had to get rid of them. The menu was filled with Anatolian dishes with a good amount of grilled items. Our choices: Cokertime Chicken Kebab - First time having this style of kebabs. The matchstick potatoes, tomato sauced chicken strips and garlic yogurt was a great flavor and taste combination. It was delicious with the crunch from the matchstick potatoes adding a nice texture to a normally chewy kebab dish. Lamb Shank was grilled to perfection and the meat just fell off the bone. The bone marrow molasses sauce added a nice sweetness and richness. Lastly the barley risotto was a nice twist as creamy as if Arborio rice was used. Pumpkin Crème brûlée was finished in front of us with a mini torch. While a nice show the topping wasn't fully caramelized after all that effort. The pumpkin and crème brûlée turned out to be a tasty combination of flavors. Overall service was good and attentive. Would love to come back on a return trip to Goreme.

Food is good, priced a little higher than restaurants in town but worth it if you get a good table (I had a great one). Centrally located in Goreme around a lot of popular hotels. Warm, rustic, homey interior. Seating area consists of large tables and you sit on the floor over cushions. Shoes off before stepping into the seating area. Menu si known for homestyle cooking and an iconic dish is their pottery kebab. Meat is slow cooked in a sealed pot for 3 hours. The pot is then brought to the table, cracked open, and the contents poured onto a plate in front of you. Very aromatic, flavorful, and tender. They also make their own wine in house, which is a must try. Red wines are served cooler, though not cold. I also recommend the little little on the middle menu item as it consists of a lot of small shareables, similar to mezze, that you can enjoy along with your meal. Staff is very friendly. They even gave us a tour of the wine cellar which was really neat.

Really wanted a memorable Dinner and found it with the Beef Cheek served with Mashed Potatoes in a Reduction and "The Golden Pot" which is a Porcini Mushroom Risotto in I believe a Parmesan Sauce that did not drown the dish. The Beef Cheek, so tender, broke apart with just your fork. Slow Cooked for 21 hours according to the Owner. The Reduction had a nice hint of Pepper to add something extra. I also found out this Dish has been nominated for a Michelin Star. The Bulgar Wheat Risotto "The Golden Pot" had a nice mild Earthly flavor from the Porcini Mushrooms with that light Cream Sauce was how a this dish should be at every Restaurant.
