This felt like such a special experience since we got to sit on the traditional mats on the floor. Make sure you get a reservation in-person the day before, if possible. I especially enjoyed the beef + rice plate :)

It was hella cold outside and I wanted something ti warm myself. I was recommended to try this place by my hotel. I got the Beef Strips Main Dish. The beef is melty like beef stew and I couldn't help but to dip the bread with the sauce. I like the salad as well. I'd say the bread is on the harder side but the beef strips with rice made up for it. Also, the Selap absolutely slaps ! BUN INTENDED. It was hella smooth !

We came here for the cave experience. I would say food is okay, everything was pre-made and taste is all right. I do find myself uncomfortable sitting on the pillow/carpet, the carpet/pillow materials make my back super itchy, but pictures look great! I would recommend coming here if you just want to have the cave dining experience or for pictures. We didn't make a reservation and got seated right away, but people came after us have to wait. The restaurant is kinda small, so I do recommend making a reservation to avoid any long wait.

Everyone says that it's the best food in Goreme. They might be right! Service was wonderful and dining in a cave is always a vibe. Options for dining at a regular table or seated on traditional floor seating. Props to the servers for serving us so low to the ground. The middle mezze featuring 7 items was unique and enough for 2-4 people. It featured more earthy hummus, carrot yogurt dip, red cabbage yogurt dip, various eggplant dips and more. Very unique. Complimentary bread for the table. Pomegranate tea (sweet but decaff) and the regular black tea were lovely here. The chicken was creamy with veggies baked into it and a creamy mustard sauce. A tad salty but still good, served with rice. This was some of the most tender chicken I've had. The baklava was mouth watering. Our waiter suggested ice cream with it and he gave us a social media moment as he delicately deconstructed the top of each piece and place ice cream in it like a sandwich. It was glorious. Highly recommend you make a reservation in advance or wait times might be a little high.

OMG, this cave restaurant is such a vibe!!! I stayed at Ottoman Cave Hotel & this place is within walking distance. Blessed to have found this cozy place with great service & food!! I opt'd for the traditional floor seating to get the full experience (: the lamb dish was super tasty!! Raki alcohol tasted like medicine lol but the cheese did complement it better. MUST VISIT when you're in Goreme!! I fell in love with Cappadocia, can't wait to be back already! ^^

A small cozy but high quality, family-owned restaurant, Topdeck is a must try for anyone visiting Cappadocia! My friend highly recommended this restaurant when I was researching places to eat, and I'm so glad we went. Make sure to call ahead (or message the hostess on whatsapp) to make a reservation, as seating is limited. FYI they have both standard table seating and floor cushion seating, so be sure to make that known if you have a preference. The menu is predetermined each night and you get your choice of Mezze, main meal, and dessert. They have various dish sizes for different groups, so your meal can be tailored to the size of your party! They also have both meat and vegetarian dishes. From the ambience and staff to the food and drink, it was a very special evening. You truly feel like you are stepping into someone's home and they are cooking for you like they would for their own family. If you want a true, authentic Cappadocian dining experience, this is the place to go!

If we could have licked the plates clean, we would have!

We were lucky enough to get a table as a walk-in in late November, and were seated on the floor with abundant seat cushions all around. Our server was gracious, and guided us through the menu to choose chicken pastry mezzes, a glass of raki (anise liqueur, almost like ouzo), the Manti entree (Turkish ravioli -- more like dumplings stuffed with minced beef and served with a yogurt sauce -- divine), and a delicious local dessert of fried dough that is soaked in grape syrup and served with crushed walnuts and ice cream. Everything was SUPERB and a unique, cozy experience! If you can make a reservation, don't hesitate -- this was our best meal in Cappadocia and one of the best meals we've had ever, anywhere!

Incredible food for a reasonable (low) price! Our hotel (Kelebek Special Cave Hotel) manager recommended this restaurant. The lamb main dish and mezze platter were spectacular. The service and ambiance of the restaurant were also notably nice. Thank you for making the second to last dinner of our honeymoon memorable. Colin & Amy

Amazing ambiance, food and service. Eating in a cave on a comfy couch with great service and excellent food in this setting is an experience I will never forget. The place is a little tricky to find but worth searching for.

This family owned business has a short menu that's executed to perfection. Their service is amazing and their recommendations were spot on. This was the best meal we had in Cappadocia by far.

Let's starts by saying BEST restaurant in cappadocia. The food was absolutely delicious. To top it off the service felt like a private dinner, and the owner being on site attending the tables was the icing on the cake. The best dining and social experience we had I cappadocia, a MUST visit!

Centrally located in Goreme around a lot of popular hotels. Warm, rustic, homey interior. Seating area consists of large tables and you sit on the floor over cushions. Shoes off before stepping into the seating area. Menu si known for homestyle cooking and an iconic dish is their pottery kebab. Meat is slow cooked in a sealed pot for 3 hours. The pot is then brought to the table, cracked open, and the contents poured onto a plate in front of you. Very aromatic, flavorful, and tender. They also make their own wine in house, which is a must try. Red wines are served cooler, though not cold. I also recommend the little little on the middle menu item as it consists of a lot of small shareables, similar to mezze, that you can enjoy along with your meal. Staff is very friendly. They even gave us a tour of the wine cellar which was really neat.
