The smoke was pretty smooth (though my friend disagreed). The interior was also very carefully decorated. I ordered the manti with tomato and yogurt sauce and had a yogurt soup as an appetizer which had a fresh, but not overwhelming yogurt flavor and was delicious. My girlfriend ordered grape leaves which were vegan and perfect for my girlfriend and had a strong grape leave flavor. The Capadoccian wine we had alongside the meal was surprisingly good and we were given free tea and cake at the end of the meal. This was one of my favorite meals in Turkey and is no tourist trap. Make sure you come here if you visit Goreme.

Totally our fault...we talk fast, gesture vaguely, and assume everyone can read minds. They gave us two zucchini blossom orders instead of one blossom + one fried zucchini. Tragedy? Not even close. Keyif handled it like pros: took stuff off the bill, handed us free dessert (instant loyalty secured), and looked genuinely worried we'd torch them in a Google review. Spoiler alert: we will not. In fact, we're giving them a 7 out of 5 stars for grace under appetizer pressure. Highly recommend. Come for the mezes, stay for the humility.
