I ordered the New York steak and it was cooked well (medium rare), however, it was absolutely inedible. It was super chewy and tough that I had to stop eating after 2 thinly cut pieces. The fries on my board were decent. We ended up going to eat elsewhere after because I was hungry. I'm not sure if the steak quality was bad because it wasn't a busy night and maybe the meat was just sitting there for too long. I'm not sure because the reviews for the place that I read prior to coming seemed good.

Only drawback is that as you would expect the meals are expensive. I had the 3 course marble steak which was very tasty and included vegetables, mixed appetizers, and dessert.

We opted for the 4 course menu which at 60TL per person, seemed totally reasonable. We got a lentil soup and kidney beans in olive oil to start. Both were actually pretty tasty so we were hopeful for a good meal. Unfortunately everything after that was less than memorable. The rice stuffing the grape vines was so dry, not good at all. The feta cheese böreği were actually good but then again how can a fried dish be screwed up. For mains we had the musakka (stuffed eggplant with minced meat) and the güveç (vegetable stew with meat). The meat in the musakka was under salted. The güveç was better but not great. Dessert was also a downer. They were out of rice pudding so we opted for ice cream and baklava instead. Turkish ice cream is not my favorite and especially the vanilla flavor isn't real vanilla, it's too sweet. The baklava was dry and pure sugar. Overall the value would be great if the food was better, unfortunately it isn't. Also our server was pretty apathetic, which isn't a good thing for the restaurant when business is slow.

We sat down and immediately after we got a bunch of complimentary mezes and bread brought out to our table. The yogurt meze and the tomato salad were actually pretty good. We started off with two different skewers, one beef and one lamb. Both ok, but I wish there had been more lamb, we literally got a 9 pieces of lamb on one single stick. There was plenty of beef skewers though, 7 to be exact. We also decided to get the lamb pide which was ok, but lahmacun is definitely better. Service was pretty good and attentive, except for our server who forgot to put our order in for the pide and didn't remember who had requested that dish until we mentioned it. Prices were reasonable.
