I am sure that if I didn't keep up my monthly maintenance with Dr. Sullivan that I wouldn't be feeling as good as I do now. For someone as old as I am (64) I feel so fortunate that I have no back problems at all. I know that this is because Dr. Sullivan keeps me adjusted properly. I have been going to Dr Sullivan's office for lower back maintenance since 2013, and have been happy with the treatment I've received up until today. This review is mainly for Dr. Ron Vogtsberg. He is absolutely one of the WORST chiropractors I have ever come across, and I have seen a LOT. He is currently filling in for Dr. Sullivan, who has been out of the office for months now due to a recent surgery. Dr. Vogtsberg tried a different approach of treatment from the one Dr. Sullivan would perform on me, but soon I discovered his way of adjusting me was not working because I was still in pain days after my visit. I asked him if he could consult with Dr. Sullivan and ask him how he could help me but he refused and said, "I don't need to. I am a chiropractor, I know what I'm doing." YET, he said he did not know how to use the drop table, which is one of the things that help me the most with my SI joint. So he basically told me it's either his way or the highway. TREATMENT FROM PATIENT TO PATIENT IS NOT A ONE SIZE FITS ALL. But Dr. Vogtsberg seems to think so. Such a shame. read more

At first I was very skeptical on going to a chiropractor, so I yelped and Dr Sullivan's office stood out by far with many great reviews so I thought lets give it a shot. My lower back has been messed up for years and never thought it'd get better as its chronic low back pain with some numbness to my right side buttocks. Prior to visiting the office, the pain and stiffness was getting unbearable to where I was taking pain relievers. Now, about 4 weeks later I feel progress and decided to get the medical massage after my adjustments which I believe to have helped as well. Have only been to a chiropractor once before and was not very convinced by my session. I came into my first visit with Sullivan chiropractic and my initial visit was very thorough! X-Rays were taken and discussed prior to any treatment and multiple issues were diagnosed. Since then I have been given a variety of take home activities which I think is awesome and I have had significant development in my overall experience in daily activity that was inhibited prior to my treatment here! Great chiropractic office with excellent staff and doctor. I see Dr. Zeng and he is excellent. He explained what my problem was and what can be done to correct the issue and how to prevent them in the future. When I pulled a hamstring right at the insertion (buttock!!) I knew I had to have some help to get it better. A google search led me to ART (Active Release Technique) therapy, and a search for local ART practitioners led me to Dr. Jaime at Sullivan Chiropractic in West Covina. I ended up having this treatment once a week for four weeks and in that four weeks my pain is 99% gone! I did not take pain or anti-inflammatory medicine for this severe muscle pain but rather followed Dr. Jaime's prescription of ice, stretching, and ART therapy. As I understand it, ART therapy involves targeted pressure on damaged soft tissue to release the tissue from tension and to break down any scar tissue that may have developed as a result of the injury. This therapy worked for me! and I advise anyone who is suffering with soft tissue injury to give it a try. I am thankful for the help I received from Dr. Jaime, and I recommend him and ART therapy wholeheartedly. read more

He is incredibly knowledgeable and has taken wonderful care of me. He would carefully review my MRIs so he knew exactly where my issues were coming from. As an athlete who's into multiple things from weight training, hiking, rock climbing and lately triathlon training. The combination of swimming, biking and running have done a number on my body and was in need of some professional help. I tend to wait till things get unbearable when self therapy isn't working anymore before going to a doctor, ( so much more to spend money on like gear and nutrition. :-D.) Being sports minded, I needed to find someone who knows and has worked with athletes, not just for "bone" therapy, but also muscle skeletal function. In researching Active Release Therapy, I came across Dr. Joseph Jaime who seemed to have a wide range of knowledge and experience in multiple areas @ Sullivan Chiropractic and I'm glad i did! After reviewing my full list of "issues" mostly dealing with muscle knots in back and shoulders, Dr. Jaime began to provide combination therapy of Chiropractic care, A.R.T techniques and general posture advice to get me feeling better again. I began to feel the results from the first session and after 3 sessions, my back and should pain were nearly gone. I'm still working on a few others things for which i look forward to getting better again. No, I don't work for them. I'm writing in gratefulness for what he has done for me and would recommend you give the facility a visit for your recovery needs. Their office is well maintained with a professional atmosphere. This review is just based off my first appointment, so I may edit if I need to. First of all, I chose this office because it was close, had great yelp reviews and consistent hours. My work schedule is erratic so it's great to find an office that isn't closed or operating with shortened hours for certain days of the work week (which is rare for a chiro office). So far though, these guys have been great. I dropped in for an assessment as was seen very quickly. Dr. Dave did a great job of listening to all my problems and offering solutions. He also did a great, aggressive adjustment, which is exactly what I wanted. Adriana's medical massage was great too, she did an excellent job of working out the knots in my upper back which always cause me discomfort. On top of the great appointment, Dr. Dave took the time to call me later that day to see how I was doing, which I really appreciated. I have been treated by Dr. Daniel Sullivan for 30 years. When I first saw him I was in great pain with arthritis in my neck and back plus sciatic problems. There were times when my back was so out of whack and in severe pain and he would work on it for over a week-never giving up and eventually I was able to walk without pain. He genuinely cares and has concerns about ones pain and condition but always positive that he is able to make ones pain subside through treatment. His concern is about you and goes out of his way to make you strong and well again. I truly believe if not for Dr. Sullivan's miracle touch and tender heart I wouldn't be walking today without a Cain or even maybe a wheelchair. I was having discomfort and a little pain in my upper right leg for several weeks. I thought this condition was caused from a strained hamstring that never healed properly. Being an active runner, I needed to get back in form but I didn't want to risk further injury. After searching the internet for possible solutions, I came across a treatment known as the Active Release Technique. I wasn't well versed about ART except it seemed to curtail to my needs. Luckily, Doctor Jaime was the only practitioner in the area who specializes in this treatment. The office staff is very helpful and cordial. During the initial exam, he was able to pinpoint the source of the problem and determined it was my adductor muscle also causing me problems. He explained in great detail the reasons why my leg was being affected and the course of action I should take. The actual therapy was a little painful but it's supposed to be that way in order for the affected area to properly heal. After the session, he advised me on what exercises and stretches I can do additionally to help my leg. A couple days after the therapy, my leg felt much, much better. The pain and discomfort subsided greatly. After my second treatment, my leg feels like it's close to pre-injury status. Keep in mind, I was having discomfort for several weeks prior to treatment so I didn't expect a one-time quick fix. I had another treatment recently and I feel like I'm definitely getting back to normal. I'm glad and thankful to have found this place! read more
