Dealer advertised 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sarah under 30k miles. They were selling it for $28.5 K out the door and I wanted it for 25k out the door. They were charging $898 dealer fee and $499 Sullivan Connect ( I didn't know why, nor did they explain it) and $595 to transfer my FL expired tag to the car. They refused to let me do my own tag transfer at the DMV- because "you know it does not cost that much." In my attempt to pay cash of $25k, the awesome sales guy, Sean told me that his manager stated that it could only be sold for the almost $29k out the door and only if I financed with them. It is an absolute shame that General Motors tries to pass off Cadillac as a premium brand and then runs their dealerships like a two bit used car lot on the bad side of town. Brought a brand new lyriq in for service because the battery had died and the air conditioning was making all sorts of noises. It took them three weeks to fix the battery and they refused to address the air conditioning. My wife & I made an appt to see a very specific used car advertised online. We were even called by a Sullivan rep to confirm our appt before we left home to let us know the car was ready for viewing as we live 40 min away. We arrived early for our 1100 appt & were left cooling our heels while they "looked for the keys". We had become perturbed after 30 minutes that the keys could not be located so we told them we were going to SAM's a mile away to pick up a prescription. Upon returning less than 20 min later, the keys had still not been found. We were told: "that vehicle was sold this morning, would you like to look at another vehicle?" WOW! So nobody thought it important enough to contact us before driving that distance for nothing? Sorry, not interested in seeing another vehicle! Fast fwd 3 months. We were still looking statewide for the same vehicle (color, trim level, options etc.). Another 1yr newer vehicle had been advertised by Sullivan longer than the first one we were interested in, but after the new year, the price dropped to our budget range. Despite still being perturbed over our previous visit, we are serious buyers & had this specific Buick in mind. We test drove it in the evening then did as good of an inspection as we could in the dark of this higher mileage vehicle. During the inspection we noticed it had a lot of sediment in the frame as if it had sat in water. No indication of any intrusion into the cab, but the entire undercarriage was covered in dried sediment, leaves & debris as though water had flowed past & collected in the frame. This turned us off immediately & I brought this to the attention of "Beach", a very nonchalant salesman. He said they would put it on a lift and "look into it". A few days later, still perturbed that we nearly bought a vehicle with water damage that was also not detailed after being on their lot for 5 months, I contacted the Used Sales Mgr Zack to share with him about the vehicle & the disappointment over our two visits. He said he would look into the claims I made with his mechanic (Clearly "Beach" had not found the inclination to do so). Zack called me back & "Assured" me that it was not water damage, but rather "road grime from test drives". Previously the salesman (Beach) told us they have a set test drive "loop" for their cars. (The one we took said car) & it was on asphalt the whole way. I then asked to be sent the Carfax to see if any water damage was reported. Turns out the vehicle had an additional 7,000 miles on it since it was in the possession of Sullivan Buick since Aug 2024. Zack had given me his personal # so I texted him questions about the Carfax, the maintenance done since they added 7k miles since it was traded into them etc. Probably 10 questions total. He called me back & had a reason for everything except the mileage. I asked if those were all "test drive miles, or was it used to shuttle people from the service side?" It is a high-end large capacity vehicle, so I deduced that was a possibility. He eventually denied it was test drive miles but never explained the increased mileage. He then told me: "maybe this isn't the car for you?" I replied "clearly it isn't, nor is Sullivan the dealer for us". His smart alec retort was: "besides, we sold that car last evening". If this were the case, we have yet to understand why he would call us to tell us anything other than it had been sold, but maybe add: "we will be on the lookout for another similar vehicle for you to earn your business." We believe our deduction was accurate & the vehicle had been water damaged & they either did not know it before we brought it to their attention, or they knew it was, & tried to sell it anyway? It just seems very suspect that the vehicle sat for 5 months with very few test drives & now when someone is interested & brings these items to their attention, the vehicle is suddenly unavailable because it was "sold". We continued our search & are happy to report we found the used vehicle we have been searching for. It took a trip to Leesburg. We purchased our Buick from a Kia dealer who went above & beyond to ensure the vehicle was turnkey for us upon arrival (including a full tank of gas) before they ever confirmed we were purchasing. They also provided a lifetime power train warranty on top of the remaining GM factory warranty gratis. Something even Sullivan could not offer for a fee on their own product. This just solidified our obvious disappointment in the entire experience & lack of customer concern or competency of those who are the "face of Sullivan Buick GMC". I am a teacher and I live paycheck to paycheck I gave them a call and was completely gaslit, spoke to condescendingly, and told that there must have been a leak by Dylan, the assistant service manager (I believe that is his title), who had not seen or worked on my car because he said knew how ac systems worked. I offered to bring my car in so that he could see that there was not a leak and so that I could get a refund on my diagnostic, and he just said that Joe was an honest mechanic and would not lie and then told me to have a good day. So, this is a "heads-up" for y'all. I've been a customer of Sullivan GMC/Buick for a long time. Always felt they took care of me and my vehicle. My driver's side power seat quick working. Took it to Sullivan, they diagnosed the "motor" was bad and the whole seat would have to be replaced, to the tune of $1400! I specifically asked "could it just be the switch, because the seat functioned except for pulling forward and backward was the only thing that didn't work. They said "no, we checked the switch, it's the motor". I said, "No, don't fix it." I left, had another mechanic look at it. It WAS the $50 switch. So Sullivan wanted to charge me $1400 for a simple switch fix of $50. The serice writer also told me that I would be needing a "timing chain and tune-up" soon to the tune of thousands of dollars! I would like to start off by saying this is the worst dealership I've been to. Make a long story short, I've been looking at this 99 Tahoe for a while on their website and finally decided to pull the trigger 99 Chevy Tahoe with 47k miles. Beautiful SUV. I spoke to several different salesmen and manager about this vehicle. I told them I would like to come see the vehicle but what's the best price you guys can give me. I live in West Palm Beach, Fl this dealer is in Ocala, Fl. That is a 4hr drive. I explained to them that I wanted to negotiate price before I make that 4 hr trip north, they told me that they do not negotiate price over the phone it is done only in person and that I will need to come in. This is from the Manager's Tre and Zach. I set the appointment with them and I made the trip with the family 3/8/23. I texted the manager's that morning and let them know I'm on my way and should arrive in about 4hrs. They replied okay Steven we will get the vehicle ready for you. I arrived at the dealer exactly at 2:20pm. I then went to look for Trey Conner and Zack both are manager's and found them and introduced myself told them I'm Steven and I spoke to them about the 99 Chevy Tahoe. Very unprofessional from this point on they didn't even have time to speak with me they sent over a salesman to deal with me. We then went to look at the vehicle and take it for a test drive. Vehicle wouldn't start and had to jump start it. First of all vehicle was all the way in the back of the dealership very dirty haven't been moved from that spot it was in for a very long time. We then jump started the vehicle and went on a test drive. Return back to the dealer and tried to work numbers with the salesman and he told me this is the price and they are not negotiating anything else. $21,704. I explained to him that I've been communicating with Tre and Zack the manager's about this vehicle for a while and was told that they can only negotiate in person that's why I made the 4hr trip today. I showed him the text message that says the manager will only negotiate in person, he took a picture of my phone with the text message and told me hold on and that I was correct it does mention negotiating only in person. I then waited with the wife and kids outside next to the vehicle for over 35 minutes still no salesman. I walked inside to see what's going on and I noticed all 3 gentleman were in the office and I thought they might have been discussing what the best offer they can do. Another 20 minutes go by and now they couldn't be found at all. So for over an hour I wanted to see if I could get a better deal because that's what was said in the text message only in person they will negotiate price. At this point me the wife and the kids got back in our car and drove off. We left the dealership around 4:30pm. Never heard from anyone again. Not even a phone call or text message and let me remind you that the salesman told me to wait right here after taking the picture of the text message. This was a waste of a drive. On May 3, 2023 I placed a $1,000 deposit and received a Buyers Order for a 2023 GMC Canyon at Sullivan Buick GMC. I was given the VIN to track my truck for delivery. The truck came in on June 28, 2023, the salesman called me and said the Manager, Trey Turner, would NOT sell me the truck for the agreed upon price noted on the Buyers Order. I spoke with Trey Turner and he said the truck was actually built for another customer. Trey Turner said he would sell me the truck for $5,000 OVER the agreed upon price. I asked how could he take my deposit, and give me a Buyers Order if the truck was for another customer. I then asked if the truck was another customer, how could he sell it to me. Trey Turner said he could sell the truck to whoever he wanted and he wasn't going to speak to me anymore. I had to replace my (2) catalytic converters in my Cadillac at this dealership and they installed them using the old gaskets even though the new ones included new gaskets. Immediately after that, one of them started leaking exhaust from the burned-out old gasket they failed to replace which caused the vehicle to make a loud noise. It also started dripping power steering fluid. The power steering fluid line ended up rupturing and I was left stranded on the road home from work. I had it towed back to the dealer and they replaced the power steering fluid line and left it jammed up against the converter. This caused it to continue to leak. After going back 3 times to ask why it was leaking, they told me about the new converter hitting the power steering fluid line. Instead of fixing the problem properly the first time, they caused the same problem to happen again. Fortunately I caught it before the line ruptured a second time. But they couldn't fix it because they said they don't have a welder. I had to take it to pro formance muffler shop who had it fixed in an hour and he pointed out that burned-out gasket which was making my car sound like a junker. The leak stopped after the muffler shop adjusted my converter and replaced the gasket. And my car sounds like it should once more. But no thanks to the dealership who did a hack job on my car. I've spent thousands at this dealership's service department and lost many hours of my time from work. If I hadn't taken it to a different mechanic, my car would not have been fixed properly and I'd end up thinking that it was just because the car was too old and I'd need to buy a new one. All because of the incompetent mechanics they employ. Not only did they lose my trust, but they also lost my business. And when I do end up trading my car in, it won't be at Sullivan Cadillac. read more

I just took my 2011 Sierra GMC in for a check engine light and they tell me at only 88k that it needs a ring job, out of power train warranty by time but not much. When I dropped it off I let the service advisor know that I worked in the business and would appreciate a professional courtesy of going to bat for me and ask for factory assistance, normal stuff in dealership life. She tells me GMC has some kind of slot machine request system to ask for this that flatly denied any assistance then had the nerve to charge me for shop supplies and haz mat disposal because "we charge everyone for that automatically on every car no matter if it's used or not". In shopping for a used car, my first stop was Sullivan GMC/BUICK in Ocala. Florida . Why, I cant really say although something attracted me to the dealership. I moved here one and a half months ago so I had no idea where I wanted to start. I pulled into the lot, made two trips driving through the used car area. I got out to look at two vehicles that had caught my eye. I then was approached by a salesman named Logan Walker. He assisted me in looking at both vehicles and he then offered to me a special that the dealership was offering on any new GMC vehicles on the lot. I passed on that and we went for a ride in a Buick Enclave that I had originally liked. We got back and sat down to discuss what sort of a deal we could come to and for it to be fare for me and the dealership. I had a lot of doubts about making a decision on buying something this same day. About a week ago I got my oil gasket seal changed at Sullivan Buick in Ocala Florida and I read up that it was a common problem on my Pontiac G6. So they basically already knew what the problem was they didn't wipe any oil to see or look to find where it came from first. Or unless they saw it leaking from there. Late November 2019 my mother and father went in with the flyer that showed that as certain actions were completed starting with a test drive through to buying a vehicle that would receive a gift card valued from $5.00 up to $200.00 if a vehicle was purchased. They completed all of the things necessary to receive a $200 publix gift card after purchasing a GMC SUV. When the gift card arrived my father took it to Publix and was told that it was worth $5.00 not the $200 it should have been. Fast forward through visits to the dealership, phone calls and emails. Today my mother and I went in and she asked to speak to the manager in duty. Let's call him Mr. A. Mind you it has been 2 months since this all started and there is still no resolution. Mr. A told us to go with him to his office and offered a seat. My mother didn't want to sit because frankly she is frustrated with the whole thing (rightfully so). Another person came into the office and made mention that my mother's situation had to do with the check that was in the mail. My mother did speak over him and say we have been told for 3 weeks its in the mail. Then the story changed to the office says they have proof the check cleared. At that point my mother said well someone is lying because I never got a check. Mr. A. then proceeded to tell mother that if she wants his help she needs to "bring the sugar" because "she will get more accomplished being nice and she can't come in here calling them liars". EXCUSE ME!?!? IN WHAT WORLD IS THAT OKAY?? If my father had been standing there would he have been told to " bring the sugar"??? So at this point I told my mother maybe she should go outside and I can speak with Mr. A. He looked at me and said "no she is the one with the problem I am dealing with her!" So my mother put her sunglasses on and we walked out. Moral of the story...well there are a few. 1.If you get a flyer saying they will give you gift cards be sure that you get them to sign something about the value due and when to expect it. 2. If you are adamant with the salesperson you don't want a 72 month loan but then you tell them okay if you can get it to this number I will buy a car. Make sure they don't come back and say great news we got the number you wanted..then you go to sign the papers and surprise it is the term you were adamant you didn't want. 3. So we have an "older" (2004) GMC Yukon which we wanted to give to our son. We took it to the dealer for a few minor things including changing the battery. The battery the GMC dealer put in was bad, we had it tested at TWO different places. Went to the GMC PARTS department yesterday around 2 pm, older guy behind the counter RUDE AS CAN BE. Brought my paperwork (he tried to say there was NO WARRANTY) after a few minutes of UNPLEASANTRIES he says (like because I'm a "girl") DUD WE TEST THE BATTERY? I replied with the printout from an auto place BAD BATTERY. I said I don't want your guys to test it, I just want an new battery. He says DO YOU HAVE THE BATTERY? I replied it's in the truck just need to take it out. His reply in the voice of a pubescent 12 year old boy WHO'S GOING TO TAKE IT OUT? (like I would ask you to change my battery AGAIN and pay $50, are you crazy) I REPLIED ... I'll be back with the battery. FIVE MINUTES LATER, after I removed the battery in the parking lot. I brought him the swollen, leaky battery. Replaced the battery. Now WE are buying a new vehicle and will be purchasing it from Richard Provenzano (up north) As an previous owner of a LARGE medical staffing company I believe your employees are a reflection of you, and the reflection is POOR at best. read more

This place knows the meaning of customer service! these guys go above and beyond, especially Mike the service manager.

Called to schedule some service and was connected with Matt. Set up an appointment for two days later. When I arrived, I was greeted by Matt and he went right to work getting me checked in and annotating the service I needed. He told me it would be about an hour for the diagnostics to come back. Exactly an hour later, Matt come to me and told me what was going on and gave me my options. He fully explained everything, included prices for the options and allowed me to make my decision without pressure. After all the work was done, Matt came back out, reviewed all the service and the price. I appreciate that type of service and the fact that there wasn't any surprises or pressure for items I did not want. Thanks Matt and thanks Sullivan's. read more
