I've been extremely frustrated with this practice - in fact, it's the only medical/dental practice…read morewhere I've felt this way, ever. The dental care has been solid by Dr. Bliss. My issue is with the billing practices. The practice makes patients pay up front before ever sitting in the chair. As in, I was paying the bill at check in. This means I'm paying for services that have not been rendered yet and I've had situations where my insurance has provided coverage so I paid for services out of pocket that I shouldn't have had to. They did send a refund but deducted money for other items they said were on my account. It felt sketchy. I find I have to watch the billing like a hawk and honestly I'm so utterly frustrated and flabbergasted by the business aspect of the practices I left. There are plenty of dentists who do good work and run a different business model that takes care of patients. I always left feeling that practice took care of their bank account before patients. When I questioned the billing practices I was told that's how most dentists do things now and that's blatantly not true.

What an excellent experience it was! They get five stars from me, if there were a sixth star - this office deserves it! As a senior, who has had many different visits to medical offices for various procedures, experience has taught me to distinguish the difference between fair, good and great service. This is really among the great ones. Although the care that I receive in future visits will require more involved work, todays' visit has left me with little doubt that this is a well run operation at every level, and my confidence for a satisfactory outcome, given my specific circumstances, is certain. Dr. Herman and the office staff are very professional and a pleasure to deal with.

You will have plenty of parking so no worries there.. As you enter the building, take a quick left and the office is the first door on the right, on the first floor. Seats were def more than 6 feet apart, which showed me they were taking COVID-19 seriously. I checked in and they took my temperature to make sure I wasn't sick. I was then called in and was brought to get an x-ray. Quick and simple process!! After, I was led into the room where the procedure was to occur. I had concerned, initially, with getting my tooth removed but I was comforted by the assistant and said she will speak to the doctor before we proceeded Dr. Meredith August came in the room and was amazing. She calmed me down and reassured me the options I had. I decided to remove my tooth. Dr. August, walked me through step by step and asked me how I felt through out the whole procedure. She numbed my mouth and then proceeded. It wasn't painful, but more annoying and a lot of pressure which caused a lot of discomfort. I told myself itll be over soon and within minutes, the procedure was complete. She told me how to take care of the wound and walked me to the front desk. She got the receptionist to recommend a dentist as I didn't have a primary one of my own. Dr. August and the crew, were all amazing. I would recommend this location to everyone!!! I would give them more than 5 stars but obviously I can't.

I had a painful tooth, so I sucked it up and called. He was able to see me within a couple hours. I did all my paperwork before I got to the office, and my insurance had been sorted and verified when I arrived, so I was able to go straight back and be seen. I was really, really nervous, and Dr. Livshin and his assistant (I'm so sorry, I've forgotten her name!) were incredibly kind, understanding, and nonjudgmental about the whole no dentist for a decade thing. He had my x-rays done within 10 minutes of me walking in the door, and was reviewing them with me and discussing a treatment plan. It was fantastic. He was able to treat me immediately, and he was so kind. I really can't express how much that meant to me, because I truly am very anxious about dental work in general, and Dr. Livshin gets that and is very, very good at working with that. His prices seemed pretty reasonable too. My insurance covers most of it, but his office manager brought me the price sheet with my treatment plan, and it's definitely reasonably priced. I highly recommend Landmark Dental, and doubly so if you're anxious about dentistry. Edit: I had a complication today, a Sunday, that was entirely my fault. Dr. Livshin took care of it for me within an hour, on a Sunday. That's definitely amazing.

I booked a cleaning as a new patient and an hour and a half later, no cleaning! I got a full exam which I did not ask for and throughout the process kept saying I was not interested in this and just wanted a cleaning. The tech was very sweet but couldn't even do the xrays correctly and they took about 500 vs the normal few so she also took forever. Dr Kim then proceeded to tell me that I needed a deep cleaning and a visit every 3 months. I said no thanks, I just wanted a cleaning today and we can followup on the deep cleaning, however, I have been here for 90 minutes and actually need to move on with my day. The receptionist apologized for the "miscommunication", but it was not a miscommunication, there was NO communication that I couldn't be getting a much needed cleaning but rather go through a whole 90 minute process to be told I need services that aren't covered by insurance and I've never been told I needed before. Insurance fraud at its finest, stay far away!

I had a tooth that started bothering me during my pregnancy and once I had the baby, I knew I had to address it asap....... but I have a major, major fear of the drill. My fear stems from a horrific experience I had with a dentist who kept drilling even though I could feel it. Not Dr Lakis...he talked me through the entire procedure and told me that at any time if I felt anything, to let him know. I ended up having a root canal and didn't feel a thing. He even dealt with my crying and whimpering. He was very quick and extremely understanding when it came to my anxiety. I will only see him from now on and would recommend him to anyone who has a fear of the dentist. As for the office itself - it's brand new, very clean and has the latest and greatest equipment and procedures available. When I told them that I will come for cleaning in his place, they refused to do that too. And threatened me that no body from my family can ever come for any dental visits to them ever again. In past 45 years of my life I have never experience such rudeness and unprofessional, disgusting behavior from any medical office. These ladies there are horrible, mean people who only know how to scream and be sarcastic. I only write reviews, if I only have good things to say about any business. But this time it was different. He contacted me later that evening to see how I was feeling. I had NO pain, swelling, soreness, tenderness or bruising which can often occur following a tooth extraction. He took his time to ensure my anatomical structures (jawbone) remained in tact which is extremely important in preparation for placement of a dental implant. Unfortunately, one of the implants was placed in the wrong tooth position, specifically #6 and #5. Implants should have been placed in #6 and #3 as was the original contract. Even after doing so I still have a space in the back of my mouth after the teeth were placed. This has resulted in significant cost, time and stress.
