Had I known what I know now I would not seek Dr Bissada's care. He overfilled my root canal which caused me great pain. He and his staff further went on to try and conceal his error. I will now need an extraction and implant. Save yourself from the ordeal. read more

I saw Dr Bissada to evaluate acute jaw and tooth pain that had been keeping me awake for days. I was able to get an appointment the next day which was amazing. Dr Bissada took his time identifying which tooth was giving me the pain, which turned out to be a fractured molar from my bruxism habit. He went over all possible treatment options and was kind enough to explain that a root canal, which he could do, likely wouldn't resolve the problem in this particular case. I was referred to Dr. Bissada for an emergency consult. I had pain and swelling in the right side of my face that got worse and worse over a period of two weeks. Despite several days of antibiotics I was in serious serious pain. My dentist thought it might be an abcessed tooth. It was! The office agreed to see me pretty much immediately. Once he saw how serious the situation was (bad infection that had started to spread, big abcess, lots of pus) he stayed late (after hours) to perform an emergency root canal. He saved the crown I already have and walked me through the whole procedure. He discussed my antibiotic choices with me thoroughly and listened to my questions. He was patient and very kind. Dr. Christopher Bissada performed a root canal for me & he was amazing, I was so very pleased with the whole procedure from the consultation up until the follow up!! To say I was nervous before hand would be an understatement (I'm a baby when it comes to dental work!). He was patient, kind, understanding and explained everything clearly in the consultation as well as in the procedure itself so I wouldn't be surprised by anything. I felt nothing (except the normal things you feel when you get a filling done, only lasting longer time wise). It took about 1.5 hrs. & from what other people told me, that's the average time. I had virtually no pain the next day & was able to get right back to work. (His facility was immaculately clean as well, something very comforting when you're having a procedure like this!) Thank you so much to Dr. Bissada & his entire staff & assistant, they were all so very friendly & patient!! I would recommend them to anyone!! Ah, a root canal. It's two little words that bring terror to every adult facing it. Look no further. Dr. Bissada has the magic touch and I recommend him to any white knuckle scardey cat. The two shots at the beginning are the only part that you might grip the arms on the chair over - the rest is uneventful. Dr. Bissada has a tone to his voice that puts you at ease immediately. He explains the steps in an informative and comprehendible manner. The procedure is a walk in the park and his experience and knowledge made me feel comfortable in my choice. Would recommend to anyone and for those who haven't had this procedure done in 10 year....it's not even comparable how things have progressed. read more

I saw Dr Bissada at his Franklin office for an emergency flaming, painful tooth infection. He took me as an unscheduled appointment and by the time I left the office I Was completely pain free up until he could do a root canal this week. He is a bright, very kind and gentle dentist. He is such a professional asking me throughout the procedure "are you ok" "do you feel any pain ?" The root canal went great, he saved the crown the root canal had to be done under. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Dr. Bissada is. His assistant Rachel is super as well as is the whole office staff. I was referred to Dr. Bissada at Endodontic Care, PC in December. The Franklin office was so great to squeeze me in at the last minute. Even though the office was closing soon they still made me feel as though I was their 1st patient of the day. I went to Dr. Bissada to obtain a price quote for dental implants. Dr. Bissada was very nice, informative and caring. As I had used him in the past for a root canal I did not have a reservation about returning to him to get this work done (as he had done a good job). I had an Xray taken, along with a consultation to determine how much the work would cost. I was not made aware at the time that this consultation to get a price quote was billable. I left the office withan estimate for the work. Weeks later I was surprised to receive a bill in the mail for the consultation. I called the office manager to ask why I was billed for the consult. She was very stern and not understanding at all. She cited office policy dictated the charge and was unwavering. She did however say that we may "be able to put credit toward the future work". I was strong armed into paying the bill. Needless to say, I will not be giving this dentist future work because of this. It's a shame really, as he is a good dentist, However, his billing and office policies leave a lot to be desired. read more
