Suitsupply is for sure high end in price, but you're making statements with their suits. You love investing in your look, brand, and the story you want to tell. I got two suits with them, one for my wedding and the other later on in the process for the rehearsal dinner. Loved the material, loved the service, PHIL was incredible. Yes, it's gonna cost you anywhere between several 100s of dollars to a couple 1000s, pending on how custom you go, but the good news is, it's your choice to make that investment. I'm so happy I did. I originally ordered a custom suit for my wedding from SuitSupply.com on March 19. The suit arrived at my home in Wyoming on April 16. Unfortunately, the suit did not fit, even though I had been professionally measured by a tailor in my hometown before entering my measurements on your website. Once we discovered that the suit did not fit, we immediately called the SuitSupply store in San Francisco (where my fiancée is based for work) and scheduled an appointment for May 1 to evaluate whether the custom suit could be salvaged. During that conversation, I asked whether I should return the suit or bring it with me to the appointment so the store could assess possible alterations. I was instructed by the San Francisco store to bring the original suit with me so they could determine whether alterations were feasible. Following those instructions, I flew to San Francisco with the custom suit for my May 1 appointment. This was well within the one-month return window stated on your website. When I arrived, I was advised that the suit could not be altered sufficiently to fit properly and that I would need to start over and purchase an entirely new custom suit. I was assured that the San Francisco store would complete the return process for the original suit and that I would receive a refund. At that point, on May 1, we purchased a second custom suit along with two custom shirts. We left the original suit with our salesperson, Todd, at the San Francisco location so he could complete the return. I then flew back to Wyoming, having purchased a replacement suit and returned the original suit to the San Francisco store. I reasonably assumed that the store would handle returning the original suit to your online distribution center, as promised and as outlined on your website. I also assumed that this had been completed as discussed. On May 21, SuitSupply issued my refund in the form of store credit rather than a refund to my original method of payment, despite both your website and return policy indicating that I was entitled to a refund. The company claimed that I had not returned the item within 30 days of receipt. However, I returned the suit to the San Francisco store approximately two weeks after receiving it. The San Francisco store staff failed to process or forward the return within 30 days of my receipt of the item on April 16. I made every reasonable effort to return the suit within the allowable time frame. After multiple lengthy conversations with the San Francisco location regarding this issue, I was ultimately informed by the store manager, Emily, that they could no longer assist me and that the matter had been referred to their finance department. I am not optimistic that I will be contacted, as I have been unable to reach anyone outside of the San Francisco location through your customer service channels. As of today, SuitSupply owes me $1,502.00. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will pursue alternative remedies through my credit card company and the Better Business Bureau. I have spent countless hours attempting to resolve this return and secure the refund to which I am entitled. This has been some of the most frustrating and incompetent customer service I have ever experienced. I have had to repeat the same information to multiple representatives, spend excessive time on hold, and repeatedly follow up by email. I personally emailed all relevant details to the San Francisco store manager, but those communications were ignored. My disappointment with this company runs deep. I own a dry cleaning company. I had a men's shirt (mix of silk, linen, and wool) come in to be cleaned...first time it was being cleaned. It was dry cleaned and it went from a men's large to a child's medium. I reached out to Suitsupply to discuss the issue and was told they could not speak to me, said the customer had to reach out to them. After the customer reached out to them they offered $50 for a shirt that cost $150-$200 and was worn one time. They said it was because of the cleaning method which is NOT correct. I reached out again via email to let them know of our process, the cleaning chemicals used in our machine, and our monthly inspection on our machines by our mechanic. It took them over a week to reply: Dear (customer name)... They can't even put my name in the blank? They finally replied after I sent 3 emails as follow ups and they said they couldn't do anything else, that they gave my customer reimbursement and the case is closed. I say, find another brand. They don't stand behind their products. You can't speak to anyone and their customer service email is horrible. read more

Disappointed with the sales personnel and have no plans of returning. Actually want others to know too so they don't bother. Suit Supply Soho is up two flights of stairs so not easily accessible from the street. When I made the observation with the host who took my info.. he told me "yeah I rather prefer it because it keeps the street people out". I found that so cold and certainly not aligned with a sales persons role. Plus it came from a fellow gay guy and felt so immature. The overall feel of the shop was used car salesman with predictable sizing so it's easy for them to put a jacket on you. I came there looking to spend money on a suit for a funeral and funerals to come. Only to be talked out of it because the company only carries two options for black suits. Then the sales guy asked me if I wanted to purchase a navy suit instead? Very poor taste and social sensitivity, this place felt like a dying brand pushing its agenda on to sales people. It shows! Suit Supply felt like its for the out of touch man, the guy that needs to look the part not be the man who wears a suit. If zero stars was an option I would opt for it. My fiancé and I wasted two whole Saturdays with this location. He initially made an appointment with Omar on Saturday and was completely ignored not by one person by but by two. Clearly the younger lady standing in the middle of the sales floor holding the iPad is completely useless and serves for a "friendly face", not to incoming customers but to her other colleagues. Omar finally came and told him to go look at things. Mind you this is my fiancés first time getting a suit and had no clue what to do. Then he put him in a room to look at fabrics, but no fabrics to be found.. the desk was a mess and someone's old brown shoes were just on the floor for who knows what. Apparently the fabrics were in a drawers that he was suppose to know to open. Whatever. Finally my fiancé went to Omar and told him he needs guidance and that's why he made an appointment. I get it, I work in the area. I know how "normally dressed" people can make an associate feel like they won't transact or they're wasting their time, but not all people with money want to be dressed to the nines on their day off. They finally picked something out that my fiancé liked and my fiancé said okay I'll be back on Monday to pay, mind you Omar was taking "mental measurements" and told my fiancé every little adjustment he was going to make to the suit. Omar says he might be in Monday and maybe not and that he would text him. Monday comes around my fiancés texts him to say he's coming in an hour to pay. Omar isn't there. Shocking. So already frustrated my fiancé said he will be coming on Saturday at 12:30 and Omar said to book the online appointment via the website which is a crock of shit btw. 12:30 doesn't show available so Omar says book 2:30 and just come early. So you only work Saturdays or something??? Someone just can't come in to pay on a Monday Tuesday Wednesday..??... like you can't inform your manager what sales you have in place and need to be finalized.. like your other coworkers can't help you...?? Do you call out a lot.. what's the issue here?? Fast forward to the Saturday that Omar picked to take payment from my fiancé and Omar isn't there. Shocking. We show up... the host and some other guy sees us.. they carry on with their conversation and just stare at us. At this point I'm going to just say their host is just there to stare at people because I don't know want kind of educated sales person phrase would even come out of her mouth, and that the iPad she holds is just an accessory. My fiancé heads up the stairs to look for Omar and the guy standing next to hosts decides to finally ask us if we needed help and so I go yea we're here to pay for a suit with Omar. And he goes Omar isn't here. Sooooooo at this point I'm fired up, my fiancé is fired up and we don't know who is fired up more. The guy I believe his name is Paris..??? My fiancé tells him the story and expresses his frustrations and says that he already picked it out and Omar has everything down to the suit and measurements saved and this guy Paris says no... we don't save measurements and we are going to have to do everything you did last Saturday alllllllll over again and that he was going to call Omar to figure out which suit it was. My fiancé and I at this point are ready to walk out. 2 seconds later "he gets off the phone", comes around the corner and says "I got it, it's this tan suit right here in the corner, I'm going to pair you up with my ASM" and that was just the tipping point. My fiancé had told Omar specifically he would never ever ever ever wear a tan suit. So I got up the couch, my husband shook Paris' hand and said thanks but no you're absolutely wrong and we're leaving now. I walk out behind him and said this is the worse experience ever, we don't need your ASM. I never knew $1,500 wasn't enough to get any basic customer service, let alone make us wait a whole week to pay and not even be there to take it. I have text proof of conversations with Omar, but this review I'm sure will take care of it all. I have a feeling this happens alot with him and this location. I am writing to express my outrage over the disastrous alteration service I received at your Soho location. I traveled all the way from Portland Oregon to New York City specifically to have the waist of a pair of pants taken in. The pants now have loose stitching everywhere! They are literally falling apart at the seams, keep in mind, these pair of pants are brand new! This is absolutely unacceptable. Not only did I waste my time traveling across the country for what should have been a routine tailoring job, but I am now stuck with ruined pants that cost me over two hundred dollars. I went to suitsupply in January 2026 to get fitted for a custom made suit for my wedding in May 2026. After being measured up and picking the style and colour in early Feb, and after paying over €1000 I was told my suit was being made and would be here in a month or so for final fitting... indeed it was, and it arrived it very wrong. So wrong, that no alterations could fix it and it would have to be remade... but I was told it would arrive in good time for my May wedding... to cut a long story short, 2 days before my wedding I was told it was still being made in China (Not Italy or Netherlands) and I would not have it in time. They said I could have a refund and vouchers as an apology... I eventually got a refund, but no vouchers and a very little rude man at reception told me in not so many words I should be thankful I'm getting a refund. I do hope I meet him in the street soon... I went to Hugo Boss around the corner and although the suit I bought was "off the peg", the quality was far better, it was actually made in Italy, (not in china with "Italian" materials) and they went above and beyond to do all alterations in 24 hours so I had it in time for the big day. Don't use Suitsupply! This place gave me so much stress, they are amateur to say the least read more

Art was my sales rep and did an outstanding job. He spent time going through different options with me and gave his expert opinion but was not pushy about it. He was really cool and guided me through the process seamlessly. He had me feeling great in my suits. Prices are not cheap but you can tell the quality is high. Two stars for the Soho location is actually being kind. Went up to one of the salespeople when I entered the store and told them I'm looking for a tux for an upcoming wedding. Salesperson then asks a few questions and then tells me please wait 5 mins for someone to help me. I then dutifully wait 20 mins and ask her will someone see me soon. She then says "go the the 5th floor and someone will take care of you". I arrive on the 5th floor and a new woman says I will be with you in a moment, helping another customer. We then wait another 10 mins and she arrives. She gives me only 2 tux options in basic black and then says please wait, I am helping a other customer, then returns with 2 jackets which are 2 sizes too big for me and then disappears again. I then have to chase her down again and she is with another customer and asks me to wait again. At this stage, I've probably been in the store for about 45 mins yet spent only about 2 mins with a salesperson and actually ended up walking out of the store in frustration after having every intention of buying a $1K tux set and a pair of tux shoes. Basically a terrible buying experience and when I read prior reviews over the last couple years, appears this is a recurring problem, with the usual response here from management that they are so sorry and to please email us. WTF??!! There's an issue here, and a pretty big issue: a) get more salespeople on the floor and b) get more knowledgeable staff!! Finally, the quality of the Tux's was very suspect. The number of negative reviews here speaks volumes. Overall disappointing in a way that I didn't expect. In total I stepped in 3 times while looking for the right place to get a custom suit and one of them I was relatively happy with how I was treated. Max was nice and tried to help but there was a general impression of "if you don't know what you want and you're not buying 'today', you're not going to get any help." I went in to find my wedding suit and, first time in, I described what I was looking for (mostly black suit) and was looked at like I have three-heads. "Black is black," is the quote I'm taking away, "so supply on black is limited" - which is embarrassing for a bespoke suit-supplier and one in a city where black is essentially the uniform. read more

The exact opposite of what suit shopping / having a suit made should be. I followed up with the groom and he had a similar experience in Boston. First you are rushed by over confident associates that think they know more about the desired look than you. You are really only given two options without any room to ask to see any other products. I often get shirts made, and i am allowed to look at buttons longer than the time to select a suit here. You pay a premium for mediocre textiles. Also the sleeves are slightly rouched / bunched where they meet the suit's body. I was unconvincingly told that was the design in an oops we messed up kind of way since it is not even throughout. That is more of what Jos A Bank would do than a place constructing quality suits. Delivery is as expected. Quick. Suit has several marks in it that i was told would be resolved, but were not. They will not be noticeable partying at night, but still should not be present on a $1000 suit. Fit. I am tall and lean. Fits great. They did a great job sizing. read more

It took over six weeks to arrive, and every time I tried calling customer service, I was on hold for 30 - 45 minutes and would get little to on help. I also wasn't able to get support online. I really had a great experience here working with Tanaya. Came in and she sized me up better than a tailor with a tape measure. Limited my options to only things I described and made the decision very easy for me. I got my suit and shirt tailored and it was turned over in 1 week. Came to pick it up and ended up buying a bunch of other casual clothes. I will be back again. Suit shopping is stressful and this process with suit supply really felt seamless. The only thing I was kinda bummed about was I asked for my pants to be cuffed and they made them straight legged. I was on the fence when I decided so I'm not totally upset about it but on principal it's a little disappointing. My partner made an appointment for 4:30 today with Omar which he was really excited about, but things went downhill almost immediately. Even though he had an appointment at 4:30, the employees decided to help the person who came AFTER him first (?) without any explanation why. He waited and waited until someone finally decided to honor him with their time (/s) and he received the bare minimum help. He was fully prepared to buy an entire suit today, but it was difficult to try on and compare other sizes because the employees would take the outfits away immediately. Plus, the employee kept disappearing to talk to other clientele or for whatever other reasons for extended periods of time. Avoid the Madison Avenue location. This store has really gone down hill over the last year (used to be the best) and is now a disaster. Some really bad sales people who were not helpful, didn't want to do any needed alterations and kept claiming it was fine. When I finally got them to do the alterations, a few days later I picked up the clothes and they had altered them exactly the opposite of what they were supposed to do. Horrible customer service. The last time I finally asked to speak to the manager and instead of apologizing for the bad service she seemed to be incensed that I was complaining. Literally the worst experience ever getting my fiancees tux. We regret choosing Suit Supply. This location especially is incredibly disorganized. We were 'helped' by the hostess who was so busy she hardly gave us any attention. She stuck some pins in the tux for alternations and told us to put it on a rack. We got no confirmation about the alteration. When we did hear from them, they sent us a receipt for a completely wrong suit. When we called to clarify, they were unhelpful and arrogant. I picked up the tux assuming alternations had been made and when my fiancee tried it on, it was clear they hadn't altered anything. There were still pins stuck. So, we'll be going to another tailor to get the suit fixed. We will never buy from suit supply again. read more

TLDR: If you don't like your clothing, they will not refund you. Be warned. Store cut the tag on my coat before selling it to me, then rejected my return when I went back the next week. Was unbelievably rude when I tried to return it. Ignore the customer service reply under this review, their customer service will NOT refund you nor take any action. There are much better stores to buy from. Wall of text: A sales associate cut the tag on my coat when it was sold to me. The store associate I was returning to was condescending when I tried to return the coat. I was polite but he cut me off to school me on return policies in a passive aggressive tone. He said that "you cannot return the coat just because you didn't like it". After I pointed it out to him that I had not worn it since it was too thin, and that a store associate had cut the tag on my coat but told me that I can return it, he told me he's "being generous to me" by allowing to refund me with store credit - take it or leave it. I don't understand why I can't just get it refunded to my card and why he had to be so rude. Very disappointed with this experience, as I've bought multiple suits from them before. Set an appointment for any available person to help me and lucked into getting Art. He was awesome, I needed a suit for my wedding but my finance and I were not sure what we wanted. He knew the look I needed before I did, and created a fantastic suit/shirt/shoes/tie/pocket square combo that was exactly what we were hoping for. Not to mention how cool and friendly Art was. Made me feel confident without overselling, didn't rush the process, was open to any feedback. I wouldn't recommend Suitsupply if you're grieving and looking for a suit for a funeral or special occasion, doubly if you're queer and/or not a man. I came in looking for a suit to attend a relative's funeral - I knew exactly what I wanted as well as my measurements from a tailor. I waited for 5 minutes for someone to help me from the time I walked through the door and asked for help. After waiting another 10 minutes, I was told that they didn't even have my size in stock, despite that being the very first question I asked when I entered. It really was far too long for a simply inquiry that took seconds at J.Crew. To make the entire shopping experience worse, one of the staff members asked whose funeral I was attending and when I told him, his remarks was so insensitive and cruel, it lacked basic consideration. There are so many unexpected funerals due to this pandemic; this is a glaring oversight, be kind or be quiet please. The customer service here is not great at all. Compared to the other stores I visited, with staff who actually helped me find a great suit and treated me with kindness, I have no reason to ever shop at Suitsupply or recommend them to anyone I know. read more

If I could give this a No Star I would. I ordered a custom made suit in January. The pants arrived not even remotely close to fitting. The sales person Gina Romano, against my suggestion said they could adjust the pants with their in house tailor. After several weeks I returned for another fitting and as expected those pants were still not even close to fitting. New pants were ordered and it is now over a month and they are stuck in customs. I called to cancel the order. I received a call back from Gina, saying she had a solution to alter off the wrack pants. When I said I still wanted to cancel, I was put on hold without explanation for several minutes. I spoke to a very rude manager who told me I was unable to cancel the order and would be stuck. What was planned to be a nice experience getting custom fitted suits with my son for his graduation turned into a very unsatisfying experience. I actually understand the I can't return a custom suit but writing this complaint because they handled the issue so poorly. The customer service here is hit or miss. The first time I went I had a very helpful interaction with someone (possibly named Joe? it was a few months ago) but went back recently and it was not as nice. It took a long time for someone to come over and ask if I needed help and made it seem like I was the asshole for not going to the 2nd floor before going upstairs. I just wanted to try on sizes, which is easy to do alone on the 3rd floor as all the jackets are out on the floor. I needed a few different sized pants but had to find someone for that. The website seems to have a decent return policy so I'll order a few different sized pants to see what works as I probably won't come back to this store read more

I pre-ordered my beautiful Peacoat. Went to pickup in Soho and was greeted by a beautiful, inquisitive, and warm associate named Ayanna. She promptly assisted me with my pickup and lead me to the dressing room. The store is beautiful and curated very well. It was my first time ordering with Suit Supply. I adored my new Navy Peacoat. Although I had to size up, Ayanna was able to find my correct size and a simple exchange was done. I think the most important aspect with customer service that you don't see often is finding a common interests. She shared her admiration for her love of coats and shoes and she was excited to wear them. She pointed out other coats and never tried to upsell me. It was a very organic experience. Walked into the SOHO location Monday afternoon) to buy a suit. One of the salesman was clearly working with a customer, the other (with a beard) was finishing up with someone. That salesperson ignored me when he was done and helped two other people. I decided to try on a jacket, since I was ignored for 20 minutes at that point. The salesperson showed a suit to the other customer and actually moved my suit jacket out of the way. It was stunning to see. I've been in the store a few times and have bought suits, never been treated like that. I was prepared to buy a suit, but I'll go elsewhere now. Too bad. read more

I went to this exact Suitsupply 4 years ago and had such a miserable experience I swore I would never shop at another Suitsupply ever again. That was true until I needed an affordable suit in a pinch before a weekend full of weddings and had nowhere else to go. First off, my stylist(?), Steven, was incredible. He was super friendly, attentive, honest, and had great taste. After telling him vaguely what I was looking for, the first thing he brought out was what I ended up going home with. What's more, is that when they were out of the size shirt I wanted, he went out of his way to order it from another store and sent a COURIER to deliver it to my home, the SAME day, FREE of charge... many of the most premium brands wouldn't do that. My pants needed to be tailored, and he respected my time enough to send me home, get them hemmed, and also delivered them to me same-day. This was a really bad experience. I got a custom-tailored suit for my wedding, and the tailoring was absolutely awful. I liked the suit and the style and the material, but the tailoring was so bad and the suit looked boxy and off in at least five ways (to name a few...the sleeves weren't rotated correctly, the pants left too much room in the front and back, the vest had WAY too much room along the sides and then the cut on its way down from the shoulders was off, there were ripples in the spaces of the jacket and vest that should have been smooth). I took the suit to a real tailor and got everything straightened out at a cost. I'd recommend buying a suit off the rack and going to a good tailor - it'll be a much better use of your money than doing a custom suit here. read more

Misinformed customer service and a horribly rude staff. I won't ever buy a suit from this company.

I have been a loyal customer for Suistudio, their women's collection that discontinued recently. Naturally, I had to recommend this place for my husband when he was searching for a new place to get his new suit. Few weeks ago my husband went with his friends to get a new suit tailored at this location. The tailored new suit arrived to our house completely not wearable. Sleeves were set in incorrectly where it was clearly visually twisting when he wore it and the sleeve seam line was facing forward hiked up when he rested his arms straight. Clearly, something happened during alterations. Pants were so short that his ankles were visible. This is supposed to be his everyday suit not a fashion pant.... We called Suitsupply and someone from there told us to come in. Today we went to Suitsupply and the two workers there were VERY aggressive and rude. The manager with pompadour hair was getting angry as we are discussing our concerns and my husband and I felt extremely uncomfortable. We felt threatened by his body language and speaking manners. Not apologetic at all and blamed my husband's "posture" for the sleeve twisting. Little did he know that I'm actually a menswear suit designer... I disagreed with him and he got very ferocious and brought the master "tailor" to us who agreed with my call outs. I'm still not sure why he had to make us feel unsafe at the store when we are the customers here who paid the money to get goods. Again no apologies even after me being correct on the call outs. Really not the right model to represent the brand or to lead the team as a manager. I'll not recommend Suitsupply to any of my friends and family in the future. Extremely unreliable when it comes to service and quality control. Hope they are better at hiring staffs in the future too. read more

Went here twice, once without an appointment and once with one. The suits seem high quality, but the two different reps I worked with really just seemed annoyed and like they didn't give a damn. read more

I came into the soho location with a specific suit in mind, which unfortunately was not carried. Ronnie asked me what the occasion was and proceeded to show me a number of different options. Ronnie was extremely helpful and patient, which ultimately lead to me walking out the store with an amazing suit that I personally wouldn't have chosen. I highly recommend asking for Ronnie's help if you're in the store, couldn't ask for more! A+ service. read more
