Okay this review is long over due! I came here about a week ago and I am completely taken by surprise on how I haven't been here before! I've been sugaring for some years now and when my sugar lady moved I went to another location in Whittier, but I was starting to get ingrown hairs which I never got before. Today was my first time visiting Sugarette and I had the best experience ever! I texted them 2 days before my appointment hoping they had something available for Friday and luckily they did! The day of my appointment, I got a text with helpful details regarding parking and directions. The directions helped so much because the courtyard is a little confusing. I met my sugarist Julia and she is so sweet! She was fun to talk to and walked me through the process. It was my first time getting a sugar wax with Julia and I had the best experience ever! What I loved the most is that she went in with a light and tweezed every last hair she couldn't remove with the sugar wax. Sadly this is the ONLY place I've been to where they actually tweeze all of your hair out. Not to mention the prices are super affordable. This was my first time at this studio and my first time sugaring and it was my best waxing experience ever! I had the please of being sugared by Tanya and she was so incredible! Due to some schedule adjustments, I ended up meeting and being rescheduled with Renee. I was skeptical at first because I was really comfortable with Julia, especially with a Brazilian (lol) but Renee was a pleasant surprise! I mention this because the staff is amazing and made me feel so comfortable! So for new girls like me, you are in great hands with both! I rebooked and will never return to shaving! I ended up rebooking with Renee and can not wait until my next appointment!
