I've been waxing here all year and have never had a bad experience. The spa is clean and sleekly decorated. All of their staff are friendly and welcoming. The actual sugaring is about 50% as painful as regular waxing in my opinion. The price is a bit high, but they have the introductory 2 for 1 deal and they also offer services with trainees for much less. I am super pale and getting tan has always been super important to me. I just had a stomach surgery so I am not allowed to go in the sun. I went for my first spray in over a year. Everyone is really nice here I did the 2 for 1 Brazilian deal. The first time I came it was my first time getting waxed ever and the lady was really nice about it and tried to have a light conversation with me to get me to relax and let me know if I needed her to stop I could just say so. Today was my second time here and it was so much faster and less painful than the first time but that's only because of you keep up with maintenance it hurts less. If the hairs are long it hurts more to remove. The lady I had today was super sweet and I came extra early for my appointment because I was in the area and I didn't feel like going home n coming back and they were able to see me because it was a weird hour so they weren't too busy and I appreciate they saw me early. Remember that scene from 40 year old virgin? Yeah well that was all my preteen self needed to see to swear off NEVER to get waxed. As I got older I got curious because shaving was just so tedious-- but then would hear horror stories of my friends leaving a saloon bloody and in tears. My friend Lexi told me about sugaring and assured me it was less painful, less irritating to the skin, and lasted longer than waxing. I was VERY skeptical and low key terrified. I planned to do yacht week in Greece and knee attempted to shave on a boat with 10 others would be a nightmare so I bit my tongue and went for it. And now I just left my 4th sugaring. This last time was with a trainee-- and she did incredible. The staff is comforting and makes me feel at ease with my lady bits butterflied across the table. Oh and it also hurts less after your fist time, my skin is smoothe and hair soft even when it grows in. Did I mention I'm allergic to just about everything? I heard about S+B from a friend and decided that I would try it out. I've gotten waxed (Brazilians) before and decided to try out sugaring to see how it compared. I read that the sugaristas were very thorough and explained how the process worked to make you feel more comfortable. I got my bikini area sugared and expected that the sugarista would walk me through the process, but she didn't explain anything and didn't make me feel all that comfortable either... which was strange since she knew I was a new customer and she said she was a manager : / It was a little awkward and at times painful (which I was expecting) she told me that the batch of sugar was being difficult that day, which was obvious when she had to go over he same area a lot and elbowed me a few times in the leg (ouch!) I was relieved to be outta there by the time it was over. The whole process seemed to take way longer than it should for just the bikini area. Overall I was happy with the end result, very smooth and the hair grew back more fine, but it wasn't as comfortable as I had hoped. After the waxing I got a spray tan and the girl who did that for me was excellent! Super sweet and explained everything to me. I am pretty pale so I went for the lightest color and it looked great for my beach trip! Very natural and lasted for a little over a week and a half. Thank you S+B! read more

Before coming to my first appointment, I was super nervous since I never had a Brazilian before. However, both of the girls who sugar are FANTASTIC. Both are very personable. They reassure you that it will all be worth everything, and it sure is. Now onto the actual sugar. The fact that it is all natural is the first plus. Second, the wax is never hot so no burns! I was here back in June for a first time ever sugar Brazilian. I was little nervous as I've never been used sugar for this before. It was definitely an experience. I took advantage of buy 2 Brazilian for $49. The place is located below ground underneath another shop and if I didn't see the sign I would have missed it. This place is super cute, love the low key vibe and the clean look. The girl I had was super nice(I forget her name but we bonded over being petite girls lol), very patient and took her time(heard some techs tend to rush it)and while it was painful, it was over before I knew it.
