Can I say I wish they were closer to me? We were almost alone in there, employees were stellar. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. By the end I was sniffling and wiping my eyes but could not stop eating my meal it hit that good. Fries were money.

The food was great! Quality ingredients, decent service (counter service), and cute inside. Sadly, they discontinued a sauce that was still on the digital menu board (not updated) and I had a few questions about the business they couldn't answer. I highly recommend their signature sauce on EVERYTHING. Their fries are good, too! They were like petals.

Great chicken place in Carrollwood. The chicken sandwich is delicious. I loved the wings and all the different flavors they have. The Thai peanut was my favorite. I had the chicken sandwich with just pickles and sugar wing sauce and it was delicious

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with friendly smiling faces. The food was priced well and let me tell you every bite had me wanting more. We had lemon pepper wings , a chicken sandwich and and the Mango Chilli wings wings. The owner even let us sample the Thai peanut wings and Holy cow they were amazing. I definitely give them a 10/10 in service and food which is rare for a business to get such amazing all around ratings for me.

Let me just tell you how impressed I am with the food here. This place is so cute and always clean the 2 times I've stopped in. The people working are always very nice. 1st time I ordered food Togo for my family and I. I ordered the 4 Blue Buffalo Wings Combo with comes with french fries, a soda and a cookie. 2nd time I dined in and ordered the same thing but changed my combo to 6 Wings. The fries are basically thicker warm potato chips which I love. The Buffalo Blue wings are amazing and I'm a huge WING fan. Can't forget the cookie which I love also.

The Basics: Sugar Wing is a chicken focused fast service restaurant located near Publix on Anderson Road. The menu features chicken sandwiches, wings, and salads. When you enter the restaurant, you order at the counter and wait to pick up your food when it is ready. Things I like: We enjoyed all of the items we tried when we visited Sugar Wing. The Sugar Bird sandwich was very good and we particularly liked the Dip-Em Fries. We also liked the Chopped Salad and Mac and Cheese. Everything tasted fresh and the quality of the food was very good. Things I didn't like: When we visited on a Friday evening, there was no option but to order your food at a computer kiosk. There were no staff members at the front of the restaurant greeting customers, answering questions, and taking orders. All staff members were in the kitchen. This made it particularly difficult to try to customize an order if the option was not presented on the computer kiosk. With the restaurant being so new, it would be nice to have someone at the front of the restaurant so customers can ask questions about the menu and get assistance while ordering. Overall, Sugar Wing is a nice addition to the Carrollwood area and we will certainly return.

It's crazy how this place is so close to me, I just live around 4 minutes from here, I know this place has been open for a short time, but I don't understand how I didn't try it before, they don't have a huge variety of flavors but the ones they have are amazing and very unique. We tried the PB&Jelly, the Carolina Mustard, the orange habanero and the sticky soy, all 4 flavors were really good, but my personal favorites were the Carolina Mustard and the Orange Habanero, they were both so gooood! I am coming back for sure to get them. We also ordered Mac and Cheese and Fries on the side, and the fries were my favorite thing ever, they are crispy on the outside but soft in the inside, I just love when they do fries like that. Place looks very clean and new, that makes the experience even better. Guy on front was very nice, but I just love that you get to ordered everything by yourself in the self ordering station.

This is in the previous Willie Jewels location if you're familiar with the plaza. Sugar Wing is absolutely AMAZING! I've now been here twice and they've been amazing both visits. It's a walk up and order establishment. They have 2 touchscreens available for ordering. They also have 1 register should you like for staff to place your order. They are efficient and the food is out fast. And it's hot and fresh. The sugar bird sandwich comes with their special sauce which has a slight kick to it but it's so good. The chicken is juicy and tender. The batter isn't thick so you're getting a nice piece of chicken. The fries are thin cut and so freaking good! Lightly salted and just plain good. I got the Carolina mustard wings. The Carolina sauce is so good and my fav. The wings are tender and juicy. The chicken almost falls off the bone when eating. They have plenty of indoor seating available and they keep the place super clean. Self service drink station. Management has also walked around the 2 times I've been here checking on guests. A must try and you'll be addicted!

Honey, that restaurant could be completely empty and they'll still take forever. Just a bunch of kids and they're farting around like they're not at work serving customers. Then you get your sandwich and it's on half of a bun smashed paper thin by a Jumanji chicken breast that's breading has completely slid off. It's just a damn mess do better.

This is my first visit here. I wanted to try the chicken sandwich, and maybe some wings. Clean and nicely laid out... plenty of room. I was greeted immediately by the very friendly staff. I place an order for a Sugar Bird sandwich, and some Blue Buffalo wings (4 pc.). Also got a small drink. Filled my drink cup with a combination of unsweet tea, and lemonade (arnold palmer). It was good. I tested the sweet tea before doing that, and WOW... way sweet! Typical for FL! :) They delivered the food. Sandwich looked really good, as did the wings. The sandwich was delicious... the sauce was good, pickles were on point, and the chicken, REALLY good. It was so hot, I had to wait a bit to eat it. And biting into the sandwich, the chicken breast would squirt hot juices... lol. Messy but delicious! Wings were ok... I should have not been so lazy and got up to get some salt, that would have helped a lot. I would eat both the sandwich and the wings again.. might try different flavor for the wings. Service was awesome... exception even. Lots of smiles!

Enjoyed our lunch at Sugar Wing. We came on the third day it was open. They opened this past weekend on Friday for the first time with $5 combo meals. The choice was chicken fingers, 4 wings, or a chicken sandwich. It came with a side of your choice which we picked fries(potato wedges), and Mac and cheese. This also came with a refillable small drink and a cookie. Our wings we ordered were sticky soy and pb&j. I liked the PB & J more than the sticky soy. They had a hint of Peanut butter flavor and the jelly was like a red pepper jelly flavor or a sweet chili sauce. Both were great. I loved the fries more than the Mac and cheese, but both were tasty and dipping the fries into the Mac and cheese was like a cheesy fries. Had the blackberry lemonade which was a good and different! It was very busy, but it didn't feel like people were cramped together. With all of the customers, they were very organized with getting the meals out, and there is a screen to let you know when your order is coming. I would love to try the rest of their options here especially the salad which looks great! Here you will order on the computer, but there are a bunch of people working if you have questions.

About 4.5 stars. Today grand opening has a promotion 5 dollars combo really make a sweet deal like it store name - sugar coated. I enjoy the meal here and we order 7 combo meals. Love it and the left over take home for TV games night. The wing is highly recommended. It is definitely a plus to buy them with different flavors. Can wait for the future with additional flavors. We got the sticky soy and PB& Jelly wings. Those are very delicious especially the PB&J wing. Highly recommended. We also got angry birds, naked bird and sugar bird sandwich. I think the sandwich is kind small. Did not try the strip. May be next visit. The drinks include sweet tea, blackberry lemonade and regular lemonade. I like the sweet tea. I am not sure they use cane sugar but it tastes good. Overall is good visit. The promotion run until Sunday. Go get it.

Why 2 stars? Food was just ok and this is a newer restaurant, so maybe there is time for it to grow and get better. Customer service was good. The young man that took our order was very pleasant and familiar with the menu. And since this was our first time we had questions. Hubby an I stopped here for a quick dinner to go, and it wasn't packed just two tables with guests eating. There was no line and our food didn't take too long. We ordered 6 Buffalo wings, 6 of the chipotle bbq wings, chicken tenders, and dip em fries. The wings were just ok. I would have liked them to be cooked a bit crispier but I didn't ask, so I got them how they normally cook them. The tenders were ok. Again, we like our food a bit on the crispy side, not burnt, just cooked. The dip em fries were not a favorite and if we go back, I don't need those again. The restaurant was clean, and its boot a large space, but can fit a good crowd if needed. Week definitely ask for my wings to be cooked well done next time.
