a basket of onion rings, onion rings, and cheese

I would probably rate this a 2.5, nice fellas working the window, just had a problem with food and cleanliness of the facility. Food was kind of greasy and my canned soda had a flavor on the lip it that was not appetizing. Building had webs everywhere and pressure washed, not sure what the kitchen looked like, but I imagine it needs cleaned as well.

Double cheeseburger basket. Comes with fries and canned soda for $10. Most expensive thing on the menu. ...and yes I finished it

This place has some absolutely amazing food! It's all outdoor seating so it's a little warm in the summer time. The staff are friendly and the price was friendly as well! They have some amazing fried pies.... Like the peanut butter chocolate pie!

Extremely good service. Walked food out with a smile on his face and greeted everyone. Good apple and cherry fried pies with ice cream! A fun after river treat.

I went to Devil's Den State Park with 15 of my closest friends. We made a trip to West Fork to grab a few supplies. It was right around lunch time when we happened to drive by Sugar Shack. Their burgers were AMAZING -- not too greasy, hearty patty, and cooked to perfection. It was so good we made another "supplies run" the next day just so we can try their funnel cake fries. If you find yourself among the 2,300 residents of West Fork, AR, Sugar Shack is a MUST!!

Delicious Burger with Amazing Onion Rings and Dr. Pepper for under $8.

A fantastic burger. Highly recommend you stopping by and getting one. Outdoor seating but worth it.

It tasted like a great homemade burger. I would have liked it to be a bit more flavorful, but definitely still a good burger!

100% okay with the slightly over 2-hour ride. Couldn't be more hidden. Yet still a full parking lot…read morewhen we arrived. This small building is about 130 years old, and the there's a modernized 1890's vibe here, playing 1970's music overhead. I'm not sure what I liked better: my bacon cheeseburger or my slice of chocolate pie. The burger was two (seemingly) mini meatloaves, perfectly seasoned, topped with fresh lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles. The cheese was bubbly. I found the bun somewhat weak for the job it was trying to hold together. Collapsed into itself at one point. The bacon was fine (isn't it always!), but just not my favorite. The home-made fries were potatoey perfection. My grandmother passed around 1982. If she were still here, I'd be forced to tell her someone makes a better chocolate pie than her. At least I avoided the cussing and getting walloped by a broom. The crust was buttery and of perfect firmness. The chocolate cream was covered in heavenly whipped cream, I assume homemade. Will absolutely be coming back in the Fall, for the leaf show. And a burger. And that pie. Great staff also. Very welcoming, including the owner.

This place is OUT THERE. I mean, it's extremely remote. About an hour outside of civilization/cell…read morephone networks. And it is the only thing going on "in town". This is a beautiful, small community of people, and if you're looking to meet the locals of the Arkansas Ozarks, this is the place to go. Everyone is friendly. You can buy some hot food or a cold soda. But, it's a dry town, so don't expect and beer or wine. Fair prices, and there is even a gas pump. You pay at the counter with the clerk, and tell them how much you put in your tank. What a true gem.
