They had some nice MCM glassware and they had a room in the back that had clothing and then they had a rock and roll room all the way to the back which had many different items in it. I came into town to take a look at Kat Von D's black tulips that she planted in front of her mansion. This little shop was also selling black tulip stickers and they said they sold 250 of them last week and for currently out but they were taking pre-orders and would just mail them to you when they came in. Pretty cool, giving a little boost to a local business. They had a lot of nice antique furniture pieces and back near the clothing there was also a section where they had jewelry which is one of my weaknesses. I am sure next time I am in town that I will stop in here again because I know that I missed some items because I was in a little bit of a hurry.

Who can beat discounted thrift?!? The array of everything from homegoods, furniture, purses/bags, shoes, and my favorite their clothing! I love Valley Thrift! I've been to my fair share of thrift stores, and this wins! Now that I have moved out of state, this is the one place I look forward to coming when I visit home. As for their service, it is average, staff will help you get in and out at the register, but that is all you may get. Lol. None the less, what they may lack in service, they up for in the selections! Look for the tandem bicycle parked out front too. Inside you can find all sorts of unique scarves, handbags, jewelry and gifts. Upstairs is a vintage room, complete with old books, figurines and other collectibles. Bizarre Ladies also sells Amish jams and salsas which include traditional flavors and eccentric flavors like: raspberry jalapeno jam, rhubarb jam, mango salsa, fresh corn salsa, and more. They also sell kits to make your own homemade bread, soup, and cream cheese spreads. Bizarre Ladies is a one-of-a-kind shop that's definitely worth a browse if you're traveling through Vevay.

Her name tag said Helena, while a heavy set lady had another lady in the office and just sitting there talking and laughing. The chunkier girls seem to be in charge and it was obvious that Helena was doing all of the work. This place is so poorly managed, and I doubt they can keep help from their lack of management. You can tell people in charge are poorly educated and lazy. To the woman named Helena you deserve better your work ethic and motivation is more than the manager deserves and I really hope corporate office find out about the poorly managed store. The heavy set woman Christina is an example of what is wrong with the workforce. A two rating overall but Helena gets a 10.

I will say that the first few rows are much stronger than the back rows, but that is also where you can find some real gems almost immediately when you walk in. The selection ranges from small trinkets to furniture to wall art and some truly unique pieces that I have not seen elsewhere, many of which have become favorites in my home. The staff here are also incredibly kind and personable and have actually taken the time to start conversations and get to know me, which makes the experience even better. One fun touch is their raffle system, where purchases earn raffle tickets that carry over to the next month, adding a little extra excitement to every visit. This has become one of my go to spots, and you can easily spend about an hour browsing just the first few rows alone.
