I'm not sure if the donations here go to those nearby camps but I'd imagine some at least do. After years of begging I finally talked my wife into going through our daughters old clothes to give away. So 10 large bags later we were ready to make a donation. This time around my wife didn't want to do the DAV Or goodwill drop off. Someone had spoke highly of wayside so we made a phone call and got the drop off hours and info and made the trip. It was a real easy setup. You pull up to the clearly signed drop off area and two workers came out and help you unload your donations. The gentleman were very friendly and thankful. Overall all donation centers are a positive. So it's nice to have options. As mentioned this is in a part of the city where it's by far the largest number of needy folks. So hopefully it his clothing items can help keep people warm or provide them some clean wardrobes.

There is plenty of parking. Bathrooms are NASTY, so go tinkle before you go here or do the potty dance while you shop. They offer a massive selection of clothing. The clothes are sorted in size, and type. They have fitting rooms too. They have a huge selection of books, games, toys, household goods, and holiday decorations. Prices vary. They accept cards and cash. They also accept donations. If you need clothes or a specific book I highly recommend you check here before you buy brand new. I am not sure if they did away with bags or what, but the other day when I went the clerk was asking folks to purchase the reusable bags to put your purchases in. I said no, and carried my stuff out to my car. So, bring a bag with you or purchase a reusable one.
