Unfortunately in the past couple months this specific Goodwill prices things like they are an antique mall. Even broken items or items missing pieces such as a tripod without the mounting part. The employees are nice and this Goodwill is usually pretty organized and clean but it's hard to keep going to this one based on how insane the prices for items are getting.

I got a Madewell shirt for just a few bucks, as well as a sheft for my pantry. A couple more things to know about this location: * The parking lot can be a hectic place, or at least it was during my visit. The line for the Starbucks snaked through the lot, which made getting around and finding a space stressful. * It's right next door to Half Price Books! If you want to buy some cheap books along with your Goodwill finds, this is definitely where to go. The Thrift Crawl showed us that we need to give more Goodwills a chance. Happy we stopped here!

With that I am noticing an uptick in pricing and some decor feels out of alignment now, making it too close to retail pricing for me to take it home. We always find a few things at Re-Tail and it continues to be one of our favorite thrift shops to visit. Service is friendly and welcoming, and we love the rewards program implemented. If only I had known......!!…read more While in Jeffersontown recently, I stumbled upon this amazing thrift shop that I didn't know existed. I am all about thrift shops, especially one whose proceeds go to the Animal Care Society, a non-kill/non-profit organization that gives second chances to Louisville animals in need. I wish that I had known about this wonderful shop when we adopted a puppy last year. There are so many items for pets in the shop, and most look brand new. We could have obtained our pup's collar, harness, food/water bowls, leash, and cute sweater here for less than half of what we paid retail!! In addition to pet-related items, there are household items, home decor items, linens, toys, books, clothing, shoes, jewelry, and much more. I'm certain that there would be new treasures to see with each visit due to continuing donations. The shop is clean, odor-free and well-organized. The lady who checked us out was so very kind and told us about their program that allows for a $5 off coupon after a certain amount of purchases. This thrift shop is a hidden gem and I will be donating my items here from now on, so that I can support the animals, and I know that I will be a frequent flyer perusing the goods for that item that I didn't know I needed!
