I didn't catch the cat's name when I was there, but Vintage Shop Kitty is super friendly and seemed to be receptive to pets. Besides cats, this place also has some really cool clothes -- all of them old, and all of them carefully curated and thoughtfully chosen. I can tell when a vintage clothing store has done its due diligence when I flip through the racks and I want to buy more than a few things. I was THIS close to buying a Western pearl snap shirt, but really: how many pearl snap shirts does a girl need? Regretfully, I put the shirt back on the rack. Hopefully, some other savvy person snapped it up. The Odd Shop has a lot of clothing, but it has just as much vintage toys, records, ephemera and trinkets for sale. Walking into the store is like walking into your (or probably my) childhood, because there are so many things from the 1980s and 90s for sale. So many Smurfs dolls! Mickey Mouse roller skates! Fleur de Flea is as much of an experience as it is a shopping spot. There are several midcentury modern furniture booths, as well as others selling all manner of art, jewelry, books, clothes, records, plants and more. On my most recent visit, I came away with a book of the script of a show I really love and a fun T-shirt. Fleur de Flea also sells cocktails and other drinks if you'd like to sip while you shop, and it's very pet friendly. You're likely to see a pup shopping alongside its owner, and Fleur de Flea's resident doggo can be found sitting on the counter by the cash registers. There are several locations, and this one is located in the Hamburg area near Tractor Supply as a landmark. The drop off is on the right hand side of the building and can pull up and employees will collect the donated goods. They have signage directing where to enter the single drop off lane. There are also posted signs listing what can and cannot be donated. Staff are polite and helpful. I have not been inside the building or made a purchase to this point, so I cannot comment on that aspect of this business. I do know that the mission statement has been to sell donated items and then to utilize those funds to assist victims of abuse, which has our support 100%. (Side note: I also choose to donate here rather than at another specific well known charitable drop-off site which has high prices and high administrative costs, resulting in less funds going to the people it claims to serve.)

I was very impressed with most of the prices that I saw because honestly they seemed pretty reasonable compared to what I typically see at vintage/thrift stores these days. It's a collection of seasons, sizes, age and gender groups. Also towels, blankets, costumes and other material items are tossed in with clothing. Blue lines are along the floor and customers must stand behind them as bins are flipped. Customers pull carts through and pile them high, usually with a final glance before weighing the purchase. We paid $1.99 per lb. Service at the register was super friendly. There's a lot of workers on the floor and in the back room sorting. This is a smaller bin store as compared to Preston Hwy in Louisville, but still has plenty to shop. A bit addictive. Large parking lot - and a Goodwill store next door. We left with a massive amount of hoodies, jeans, t-shirts, shoes, and a few decor items for about $40. Two hours of family fun!
