I attempted to correct it in a different salon, ZEBA, which was no better. The hair was burned entirely in an attempt to correct what Jade did. The hair broke off from the root, and now I have shaved hair and regrowing it from zero. Honestly I was raging after this trip. I found the whole experience to be so stressful and I was…read moremad at myself for wasting precious time and money on it. I had booked in for a blowdry the morning I was going to a wedding, and from the get-go I felt like I was invisible there. I stood and waited to be acknowledged at the reception desk for minutes, then was asked to sit down and wait a further 10 minutes before having my hair washed. My hair wasn't washed til 10.25 - 25 minutes after arriving. (Point to note here that actually the girl who washed my hair was a super-friendly pro, and she is the one reason I'm giving my visit two stars instead of one). The stylist who blowdried my hair was pretty blunt and standoffish to the point of unfriendliness. I never felt confidence in her listening to me and my requirements and as it turned out, the blowdry she gave me really wasn't good. In fact if I do get a blow dry, I would usually go to my local salon who are head and shoulders above them and about half the price. When I left, I realised that the backcombing she'd done was totally visible on the outside, and the rest of the curls fell out after about an hour. I ended up having to redo my hair when I went home - not what you want after spending 35 euro on it! My friend went along for an appointment afterwards and she had the same feeling about the staff being really rude and unprofessional (two staff members standing over her giving about one of their holidays they'd just come back from) If I wasn't in a rush running for an appointment straight afterwards, I would have gotten her to fix it up, but as it was I was already late, I had to run (a blow dry should never take longer than an hour slot guys!!!) All in all, going to the hairdressers before an event should be a relaxing experience that sets you up well for the day and takes some of the hassle out of your hands. Not a stressful experience that leaves you wanting to get out of there, and when you do, having to redo it yourself anyway. I certainly would not be returning here again.

What happened next was nothing short of a miracle. Elizabeth took up the challenge of fixing the shameful mess that was my hair. She spent over an hour carefully trimming down the weight and bulk, allowing my natural curls to spring back to life. She painstakingly softened the areas in the back where chunks had been removed by the previous stylist, resolving the mushroom shape that had taken over. Elisabeth is a charming professional who brought my lovely red hair back to life. Not only did she correct the bad cut, she gave me one of the best cuts I've ever had. I left the salon with my self confidence restored. I felt pretty again. Finding a hair stylist is not an easy process. You never know what you are going to get without an existing, trusted relationship . Take my advice and go to Elisabeth at Scruples Salon. She is the real deal. The salon is also very nice & clean, I was offered a drink and cozy place to sit before my session. I will happily return from London when my trim is due next. Thank you, Elisabeth.

The reason I am leaving this review is because I sent an email regarding my concerns and nobody got back to me which is so unprofessional. I went in looking for a fringe and a few long layers and my hair was pretty long to be told my forehead was too short for a fringe. I did explain twice that I had one before and I loved it but again I was told it wouldn't work so I accepted that and was told then that I would have 2-3 inches taken off my hair as I expressed more than once I wanted the length left and that was fine as I knew it needed a little off it but there was way more than 3 inches taken off. I was told I would have long bangs at the side but I don't. It just looks all uneven in the front when it's straightened. It's far too thinned out and Sharon explained she wasn't thinning it but adding layers underneath so that it would sit nice when I blowdryed it. I also explained the one thing I didn't want was my hair cut straight across and that's exactly what I got. There is nothing positive I can say about my hair. It is ruined and I have a wedding in 6 weeks. I am now going to have to spend a lot of money to get hair extensions in. I didn't say anything when I was there because I was trying not to cry when I saw the end result. My partner just gasped when he saw it. I can honestly say I trusted that going to your salon and paying €112 that your head stylist knew what she was doing. I'm beyond upset. I certainly won't be returning and I didnt want to leave a negative review but this is just awful. Reveonna
