He ordered the chicken wrap and I ordered the ciabatta with cream cheese and marmalade. It came with three pieces of fresh bread grazed with a lemony sweet marmalade and delicious cream cheese. I separated the bacon because the combination was weird to me but I ate it after and it was a nice finish. Overall, a very satisfying meal. The chicken wrap was flavorful and hot, a tad bit greasy/drippy but overall satisfying. We also ordered some english breakfast tea and a flat white which came with a small taste of chocolate fudge. Our total was $27 which was fair in comparison to some of the other few options in town. I'm glad we looked around and settled on this spot. They also have a lot of knick knacks and variety of things to browse from lotions and bug repellents to books and jewelry. I would recommend a visit.

Whether sitting inside on a rainy day or outside on the tables by the lake, this is the perfect place to stop for a coffee and snack. I was impressed with their selection - they had everything from hot food to groceries, to clothes, to postcards, and knickknacks. As a big aquarist, I had to get this cast iron bottle opener when I found it there. It's just so cute and it's really solid since it's cast iron. I ended up getting a hat too (not pictured) and it's also really nice. The staff were helpful and quite friendly, the only reason I'm docking a point is the prices are on the more expensive end.

This place is part café, part gift shop, part secret garden, and 100% charm. On one side, you've got coffee, pastries, pizza, flatbreads, and sandwiches. On the other, shelves of handmade goodies you didn't know you needed until now. But the real magic happens outside: there's a cozy dining area tucked away on the left, complete with 90s music, free wifi, and a super clean bathroom (yes, that deserves a shout-out) We tried the boysenberry almond pie and hazelnut brownie, which were absolutely delicious, not too sweet, just right. And the pepperoni flatbread? Crispy, flavorful, and totally worth it. Prices are very reasonable, too. It's the kind of place that makes you want to linger a bit longer, sip your coffee, hum along to the music, and just soak in the small-town charm. Definitely a gem worth stopping for! This is the only restaurant you should visit in the area (we tried two others and weren't good at all).

We were seated fast and ordered 2 coffees and pancakes with a pastry. My biggest standout were the pancakes, I'm a simple guy who likes my pancakes and they were oh so fluffy, chewy, dense and honestly that filled me up surprisingly a lot because I wasn't expecting them to be so big. They put real cherries and cream on top. The serving sizes are definitely generous. I recommend them for their breakfast and coffee, especially for the central location, great view and seating areas.

I ordered my go-to breakfast item, which is their Vudu Benedict ($30NZD), along with a cup of their Housemade Lemon Honey Ginger ($6). You order at their counter in the middle of the shop, and then they give you a number to take to your table. The tea came out pretty quickly, and the benedict followed maybe about 10 minutes after. The benedict was good, and while there was only 1 egg, the whole thing stuffed me for hours afterwards. The bread at the bottom was definitely the most filling part, and I was struggling to finish it all. They had a glass display with various bakery items, and they looked so good I was so tempted to get something even though I was stuffed from the benedict. If I ever come back to Queenstown I would definitely be coming back here to try some of those bakery items.

We dropped in on an early Monday evening (just before 6:00pm) to take advantage of happy hour. The place is beautiful with a few tables outside to people watch and enjoy the lake view. Otherwise, there's tons of seating inside with hipster light bulbs, a fireplace and old vintage equipment as decor. The dinner menu is split into share plates, mains, sides and kids. The pasta of the day was a seafood linguini ($25.00 NZD). We saw a few mains come out to neighbouring tables that looked appetizing. Same with the coffee, which most tables ordered. There's also a separate dessert menu. The Alchemy dessert platter ($18.00 NZD) sounded promising. Nice touch with the complimentary sparkling and tap water. Only lame thing here is that wifi stops working at 6:00pm. Er... - Crater Rim Waipara riesling ($7.00 NZD) - sweet but not overly so. It's regular $11.00 NZD for a glass. - Soljan Estate Reserve Hawkes Bay syrah ($7.00 NZD) - a little drier finish. Decent. We only came for drinks but the food looked pretty legit. Chill, relaxed vibe.
