    Roasted Cauliflower Bowl
    Jenny T.

I was walking around looking for a place to get some late lunch and came across this place. It seemed like healthier cuisine than the burgers that I've been having the past few days. I ordered the Roasted Cauliflower Bowl ($29NZD) at the counter and then went to take a seat at a table. When I went in the midafternoon it was pretty empty, only me and a couple other tables. They give you a jug of water at the table while you wait for your order. The food came out pretty quickly, probably within 10 minutes. There was an even mix of everything so each bite was really flavorful. It was good but when I was finished with the dish there was a pool of oil at the bottom. Service was pretty nice, they were patient with my questions since it was my first time there, and they kept checking up on me to make sure I had everything that I needed. It seems that they have events every so often so it seems worth it to check them out. I like that they are a healthier food option than other places in the area, and the flavors and food combinations aren't things that you usually see. It was great to get some vegetables back in my diet for sure.

Yummy Turkish eggs. The chicken foccassia is indeed a huge dish, and shouldn't be ordered as a shared side.

Nice place serving a full brunch and dinner menu, along with a limited cabinet selection. I here a couple times to see what they had in the cabinet, which changed daily. They do have some vegan cabinet options, but it seems not every day, and they are not always labelled but you can just ask the staff. The cabinet items also did not have prices listed. The one time I did get something was a crispy tofu rice bowl from the cabinet, and it was incredibly good. The workers are all really friendly and they have a gorgeous outside seating area along with indoor seating as well.

good food- ordered the Japanese fried chicken! crunchy, salty, citrusy and fun- only the sauce wasn't that spicy and it also had a grainy texture ‍ overall the dish worked really well together!! live DJ added to cool outside ambiance fun menu and lots of flexible diet choices good service! very helpful overall: great first meal in NZ!

Flat white. The best coffee I've ever had

Glad we did wander into Yonder. Strolling around Queenstown, we felt at a loss when our originally planned breakfast spot was unexpectedly closed- stumbling upon Yonder, with their winter menu posted outside, I thought their dishes sounded creative (&were reasonably priced-including side add-ons), with some hearty combinations of ingredients, so we decided to give them a try. Walking in, the warm ambiance of the beautifully designed space, made us feel so very welcomed- Part café', part nightclub, the vibe was on the 'hipster' side, with unique artwork in funky frames, rustic plant décor, and fun graffiti, but overall felt quaint, homey, and perfect for settling into a both to chill for the morning. Now, people may often people say, 'that was the best __", for something quite delicious, but I want to emphasis I absolutely mean it when I say that was the best flat white coffee I've ever had. Designed with a leaf froth, it was creamy & roasty; a perfect balance of coffee nut flavor with the milk froth. I found myself saying 'this is delicious', 'not really this is delicious' with each sip, heavily debating how many cups is enough. For food, we split a chili egg scramble & jalapeno corn fritters topped with a side of haloumi. The chili egg scramble was a hearty plate of well-seasoned scrambled eggs, over crispy sourdough bread-with a tasty sauce drizzled over top helping cut a spicy kick with a savory blend. The fritters were a balance of dense and moist- crispy outside, soft inside creamy corn fluff-with a delectable jam sauce for dipping- They were a bit heavy, luckily we were splitting because I wouldn't be able to eat all three myself- I gave the bacon to my husband for his scramble and paired my fritter and eggs with the haloumi-which was very well crisped. The plates were hearty- a perfect size to fill the belly without over indulging- Their menu items all sounded delicious, I honestly took photos to remember some of their combinations to try to re-create at home (such as their specialty pancakes and stuffed French toast) I wish we lived in Queenstown to become Yonder regulars. I highly recommend.

The food, service and ambiance were all great. We came for breakfast and got the blueberry lemon pancakes and Turkish eggs. Both were delicious! There's lots of indoor and outdoor covered seating.

Very cute and trendy looking place that is very allergy friendly. Came here for breakfast and got a flat white, one side of egg and the vegan pancakes. It was all delicious!! They have a vegan burrito in their cooler/ cabinet up front that looked huge and tasty

Great brunch spot in Queenstown! Food: Yonder has a lot of options all made from high quality ingredients. The plating is great. I especially liked the charcoal latte which was a unique thing I've never had before Service: Typical service for a fast casual restaurant. Staff were all very helpful. Ambiance: Yonder is definitely a cool spot in town. You can sit inside or out on the front patio. It has a cool retro diner aesthetic. Seating is abundant for small parties, but if you have +3 people you should reserve before coming. Highly recommend Yonder for a visit if you are in Queenstown NZ on holiday!

We stopped in for brunch and had a wonderful meal! The staff were very friendly and helpful. You line up to order at the counter and then grab a table to sit down. It gets relatively busy at lunch time, but there are plenty of areas to sit. There are also fun activities and promotions on certain days including a silent disco and happy hour, but unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to take advantage of these. The dining area was clean and well decorated. The menu had plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. We ordered the chicken flatbread, vegan butty, and full yonder. All were very filling and tasty. I had the chicken flatbread, and though the components were delicious, it was a bit unwieldy to pick up and eat, so I ended up dumping all the contents off and tearing the pita bread into pieces. The vegan butty was a 10/10 and had "unique flavors" according to a friend. The full yonder was also hearty and the mushrooms and bread were especially tasty. We would recommend Yonder to anyone visiting the area for a quick lunch.

    The Bacon Butty
    Michael K.

TLDR: Decent food for breakfast, but definitely pricey. Unfortunately Yonder was out of brisket and cold brew when I visited. The Bacon butty was big but absolutely smothered in sauce. The grilled chicken flatbread was delicious but for $25, it could have a bit more chicken on it. The space inside was a bit cramped as the morning went on, but there is a heated outdoor area that only a few people took advantage of.

    The tiniest portions ever

Be prepared to spend an hour waiting for your food AFTER you ordered it. We came at 10:30am on a weekday and ordered pancakes and a poke bowl and waited near an hour for the food. The service is unbelievable slow and the wait staff behind the counter was rude. Yes the coffee was good, but you need the patience of a saint to dine here. They were also out of oat milk and refused to share the WiFi password. Normally not a big deal with ragards to the WiFi, but I'd just been on the Routeburn track and Milford sound for 6 days without connectivity. And they give the tiniest portions ever.

Young, hip and was the most poppin place to eat in the morning. Super cute, goods food all is good. Came here via recommendation from a local.

Best vegan pancakes I've had in life so far! Apple syrup and coconut cream was icing on the cake. Cappuccino was delicious.

We were seated fast and ordered 2 coffees and pancakes with a pastry. My biggest standout were the pancakes, I'm a simple guy who likes my pancakes and they were oh so fluffy, chewy, dense and honestly that filled me up surprisingly a lot because I wasn't expecting them to be so big. They put real cherries and cream on top. The serving sizes are definitely generous. I recommend them for their breakfast and coffee, especially for the central location, great view and seating areas.

I ordered my go-to breakfast item, which is their Vudu Benedict ($30NZD), along with a cup of their Housemade Lemon Honey Ginger ($6). You order at their counter in the middle of the shop, and then they give you a number to take to your table. The tea came out pretty quickly, and the benedict followed maybe about 10 minutes after. The benedict was good, and while there was only 1 egg, the whole thing stuffed me for hours afterwards. The bread at the bottom was definitely the most filling part, and I was struggling to finish it all. They had a glass display with various bakery items, and they looked so good I was so tempted to get something even though I was stuffed from the benedict. If I ever come back to Queenstown I would definitely be coming back here to try some of those bakery items.
