If you doubt magic exists, hire Sueli to clean your house: It is certain you will become a believer. My house was disgusting, it had not been cleaned in at least a couple years. It was toxic enough to qualify as an EPA Superfund site. I needed nothing short of a miracle worker. I spoke with Sueli about doing a deep cleaning so she came to have a look and give me an estimate. In the past I have worked with too many house cleaners who simply do not hear my needs and expectations. Or even worse, they state empty promises. Sueli took the time to listen and talk with me. Her estimate was far beyond reasonable. In short, Sueli and her employees performed miracles. I did not recognize my house, the transformation from toxic to really, actually clean (vs. just looking sort of clean) was breathtaking. Sueli made good on her promises and it was obvious she heard my particular needs and expectations from our first meeting -- After all the work was done, it was clear she worked hard to meet my expectations. Now Sueli comes to my house regularly -- Every two weeks. I am a clean person, I keep it neat and reasonably clean, and the place is only a 1 bedroom, so every two weeks is more than sufficient to keep the value of the deep cleaning she accomplished. When my mom was in her 80s, she told me, "All my life I have had trouble finding acceptable, good house cleaners." This must be a genetic trait because my life has gone the same -- Except now I work with Sueli. Sueli and her employees are delightful. They do the hard work to clean my house every two weeks. This was the worst cleaning service I've ever used. I scheduled a deep cleaning with Sueli, expecting she'd be the one who would clean. She let me know ahead of time she'd send a list of products she prefers using that she wanted me to buy for her. She didn't text me the list until Friday night for the following Sat morning cleaning appointment. She also didn't let me know her rates for a deep cleaning. Based on the great reviews I'd figure she'd be within range of the average cleaning rate for my area. Sat morning, someone else, Maria, I believe, who spoke very little English, arrives by herself to clean. No big deal we can speak in broken English and Spanish with each other. She was patient in understanding me and helped me with my Spanish. She asked me what was I paying. I said Sueli hadn't discussed that with me I thought she would be here today. Maria calls Sueli to determine the rate. They speak in Spanish, Maria explains to me in broken English what Sueli said. I'm shocked and irritated as it's WAY more than I've ever paid for housecleaning. (And for all I know more than what was actually discussed as I didn't hear their call). But, I don't have time to reschedule with a different company as company was arriving the following day and I had already arranged this appointment well in advance. Right away I feel awful about this company and stuck in a bad situation. I explained to Maria that I hadn't purchased the supplies, she said she'd try without. I ended up making a last minute run to Target to buy everything, including heavy duty oven cleaner. When I came home she appeared to be working hard on the bathrooms. I had been clear when scheduling the cleaning what I thought was included in a deep cleaning. Windows, blinds, surfaces, floors including under furniture, upholstery of furniture, oven, fridge. I went over this with Maria, and she said windows would cost extra. I said no. She called Sueli, tells me Sueli said it'd cost $50 more to include the windows. Wtf? It's already double what I've ever paid for anyone to clean! By the time Maria finishes she walks through the house with me for me to inspect her work. She opens the oven and SHOWS ME DIRTY AREAS that she said she'd "finish cleaning next time." A) what kind of deep cleaning is that if it isn't clean? And B) why did I buy the oven cleaner for you if you're not properly using it? I inspected several surfaces that weren't adequately dusted. Instructed her to use the rag with the Pledge, she obliged. I checked the blinds expecting them to be impeccable since I was paying an outrageous $50 for her to clean them. At that price I'd imagine she would hand wipe each and every blade of the blind. No. The blinds were half clean, at best. They looked awful. I told her, she went back and half assed wiped them again, saying she'd do it again next time. What? I'm paying you $50 for that alone I think you can make the time to do it right today. I complained to Sueli who said she would "come over and have a look later in the week, but that sometimes blinds are old and can't be cleaned." There's nothing wrong with the blinds I have hand cleaned them many times in the past and they look fine - this was completely unacceptable. Sueli never came over. Lastly, I wiped a clean cloth across the hardwood floors in several areas and picked up enough dirt and dust for the cloth to turn black. This was after she "cleaned." From start to finish this was the most unsatisfying, overpriced house cleaning job I've ever seen. Beware before using this company. read more

Sueli is one of the easiest home cleaning personal to get in contact with. If you leave a message, she'll get back to you unlike most of the other cleaning companies. I really wanted to give Sueli and her team a better rating but the job was just ok, thus the rating "A-OK." Sueli and her team are very nice and easy to talk to. They listened to my concerns and went right to work. Even though they arrived almost an hour late, due to traffic, I didn't feel like they rushed too much with the cleaning. They cleaned a little over 2 hours. I requested deep cleaning for a move-in, unfortunately, they only did a mediocre job. After they left, my parents and I did some cleaning and there were still a lot of dust and areas that evidently weren't cleaned. Unreliable. :( Sueli's crew was booked more than 10 days in advance for a 2nd visit to clean our home after an excellent 1st visit. I gave her a list of dates to pick from for the 2nd booking. We scheduled on the date and time she selected with 10 days advance. Two days before she was scheduled to come I got a message asking if we wanted her to come a day early. I told her we weren't available at that time, and were looking forward to having her crew the following day. She never responded or showed up for the previously confirmed cleaning. She knew she was scheduled to come right before the holiday and house guests arrived. If she would have at least had the courtesy of cancelling I would have been able to schedule a different vendor on a business day before the holidays were in full swing. I hired Sueli to clean my house after trying another cleaning service and looking for something better. I will now be having Sueli regularly clean my house! When I called Sueli, she first came to my house with her associate to look at it and provide an estimate for her services. Actually, it was better than an estimate, as it was the actual price for the cleaning; she does not charge by the hour. The other cleaning service charges by the hour and had ended up taking longer and costing more than what they had estimated over the phone, so I appreciated Sueli's pricing approach. The initial visit also gave me a chance to meet her in person first, and I immediately liked her warm, friendly personality. Sueli was able to accommodate my fairly urgent request to clean the house before a party we were hosting the following week. She and her associate were very thorough, particularly in the kitchen where she cleaned our ovens and wiped down our refrigerator. We have all hardwood floors and stairs, which means there are lots of corners and baseboards where dust can accumulate, and they did a thorough job. Notes: She charges more for the first cleaning and less for regular follow up cleanings. Also, she asks you to provide the cleaning supplies (she brings her own equipment); the cost is small spread out over regular cleanings. I will be calling Sueli shortly to schedule my regular cleanings. As a working mom with a toddler and new baby, I am so glad I found Sueli! read more
