First thing I did call for a last minute appointment I understand that. Second thing, the groomer…read moreclaimed that my dog was so full of mats that all he could do was shave off all of his hair. I didn't know any better for one but two if he didn't shave off the dog's hair he was going to charge me $65 for a wash and dry. But as far as the dog goes...he is shaved to the skin. There is absolutely no way that he was that bad. He gets a bath every week and brushed regularly. My dog now looks like a rat and is absolutely miserable scratching everything. He has razor burn all over his undercarriage and backside and not to mention, when he was shaved it's not even at all. It's wavy and has long and short spots all over the place. And on top of that he doesn't even smell like he has been bathed. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone!

I was told to 'hold on', as the girl who answered the phone had to ask if the groomer could still 'fit her in'!?!?! To her appt? The allotted time she already had?? The phone girl returned SEVERAL minutes later as I was already in their parking lot and said the groomer can not 'fit her in', they have a 15 minute late policy!!!!!! WHAT?? So calling and requesting the additional 5 minutes was a deal breaker?? How about shorten the service?? Or just a SANITARY CLEAN UP!! That would have made more sense, and I would have been 100% OK with that!! I was even, for the groomers trouble, going to tip DOUBLE what I usually do!! I guess the groomers don't need the money or clients, or just prefer to be on break!! Yes, I WAS LATE, but that is life sometimes! All I can say is, I'm going back to the original groomer I started with, a 15 minute drive vs 5 min from my house, but absolutely WORTH it!!!

The experience was strange from the moment we walked in. The…read moreguy came out from the back, no greeting, creepy, music blasting(dogs are already nervous and don't need blasting music), reached down and picked up my dog without asking, started taking him to the back... I said wait a minute, how long will this be. He quoted 2 and a half hours. I have a small dog. I said it wasnt going to work. I had planned an hour or so, and had to go to work. (Last groomer took 45 mins.) Then all of a sudden, he could do it in an hour. Against my better judgement, I left my dog. We went back a half hour early. I could hear him scolding my dog, but not loudly. We picked him up and he was trimmed, but he wasn't himself. He was lethargic (almost seemed like he was on something), and fell asleep in the car. That never happens. He won't look at me (like he is mad) and when I went over him at home, I discovered his ear was cut, about a half inch on the side. Now, I understand accidents happen, and groomers work on moving targets with sharp shears. But the owner never said a word about it! At least tell me. I would understand. The floor was filthy, pee stains in the carpet. I don't know...but we are not going back.

When she started grooming my parents' dog, she asked lots of questions to make sure he turned out exactly the way they wanted. Kendra is very committed to her profession. She keeps up on grooming trends and works to improve her skills. I read online that she does some amazing de-shedding treatments, now. You really couldn't ask for a better groomer. I wish I could find someone half as good now that I've moved away from the 'burg!
