Having to do laundry outside can be a challenge but Sudz is probably one of the better laundromats in the area when it comes to cleanliness, pricing, and amenities. There are multiple washer sizes you can use ranging from a $5 two-load to $10 for the XL washers for sheets and comforters. Yes, the prices are high but they're going to cost this much at all other laundromats in the area. Just gotta take it by the chin. Dryers were 25 cents for 3 min but they are heavy duty and I found out you really don't need that much time depending on your garments. You can easily add on more time if needed. Change machine available so all you need is cash. Folding tables were clean, wifi was working well, and attendant was super nice. read more

This place is EXPENSIVE!!! First off, they only accept quarters- nothing else, every other laundromat I've been too has payrange as an option. On top of that, 5 bucks for a base load is insane. ( the machine I had stole a couple quarters too and there was no one there to help!!) Costing an extra 50 cents for my clothes to be washed with hot water or cold. Once my clothes were finally pulled out, they had these weird black lines on them. Fabulous for white clothes... would NOT recommend if you have an option to go somewhere else. Way too expensive for the end result, my clothes were still soaked after drying for 40 minutes. I put money into the machine and it didn't take it at all. Putting in quarters to the machine is a hassle. Dryers like I stated, are in bad condition. Overall, I would never recommend this place to anybody read more

Don't be an hour and 28 minutes before closing to Suds laundry mat in Aptos or you will be refused service. I was told I was a minute and a half too late. I told them I had an emergency and one of the workers said he had an emergency also that day but he did his laundry early. Wow, after that life changing advice I left. I came in today because we were going to do some laundry here. I first grabbed quarters because my husband was dealing with the dogs in the car and was going to bring our detergent and things in. The worker was eyeing me from across the place and I waved. She walked over and started questioning if I was just taking the quarters and that I need to show that I had laundry to do there before changing my money into quarters.... I said 'I'm sorry, is that an official rule here or something?' To which she said it was. Here's the deal, if she had come up and kindly asked if I was planning on doing my laundry there or just walking in to change my money into quarters, that's one thing but she treated me horribly! She was not kind and so off putting that I walked to our car and told my husband we could do our laundry somewhere else. To the owner: Post a sign outside with a list of your rules if this is such an issue for you. Don't have your employees harass customers of their intentions. The funny thing is I come here at least once a week to do laundry... I'd say I was a loyal customer. Not after today! I took my quarters to the place behind snow whites. I go here normally and while I've always been impressed that safe, well attended and clean, it's even better during the pandemic. I was sitting at one of the tables inside and when I looked up I noticed that I could see a clear reflection of the street in the dryer windows. They also always have tennis balls you can use in the dryer and amazing wifi. read more

Horrible. Came a few minutes after 9 and the cleaners said we can't do laundry. Crazy

The ones with alcohol stained breath and lots of stories, they sing the music on the radio, they try to get to know everybody in the room... and there's always young and sexy people running around and the hard working moms and kids who drive everyone crazy... plus the older folks who sit and blow their nose and take up 3 chairs with all their tote bags full of who-knows-what. So customers aside, this place is pretty nice and the machines work well. No attendant is a bit off putting, but never had a problem. read more

I'm disappointed in this place. I intentionally came during the week at a time when it is supposed to be less busy. The change machines were out of order, there are only 3 rolling carts which are never available and the prices are high - 5 minutes per quarter for the dryer, yikes. read more

Exceptionally clean and well lit for a late-night laundromat. It is nice that they have staff available all hours to keep an eye out for bad behavior - or more likely, offer assistance with problematic laundry or temperamental change machines. While I am told it is rare, it can't hurt to bring your own quarters in case the change machine is down. Staff is friendly and patient, and will be helpful as they can within reason. The grand majority of the machines are operational and not unreasonably priced. Price depends on the size, number of loads, temperature, and the duration you run it for. read more

Clean, reliable, and safe - these are three words I'd use to describe Sudz. I've been going to this place for the last 6 years and I can't recommend it enough! They even have an on-site manager who offers a wash/dry/fold service for customers. When she offered to fold our clothes for only $1.90 per pound, I knew she was sweet. It made perfect sense her name was Dulce. Wow! My clothes were so clean, and I felt safe the entire time. Possibly the nicest laundrymat I have used. Washers & dryers for all size loads, clean, large tables for folding, supplies, but also near a Safeway. ....and free WI-FI! Every camper hates laundry day, but this one makes it a little less painful. read more

This was first visit to this laundromat and am very impressed. Very clean and welcoming. The lady working the office was nice enough to help me break a $20 bill as I didn't need all those quarters to finish. She actually used the money in her purse which I'm sure she didn't have to do for me. While I don't use laundromats often, the ones I have used in the past were no where near this clean. As a side note, the lady working here has been wiping down machines both inside and out which is nice to see !! read more

Getting pretty sick of coming here because for some reason people think it is okay to bring their dogs inside. Every time I come here there is a different old white lady who brings their dog. Someone even had the nerve to put their dog inside a rolling cart for laundry for the customers to use. Those are for people's laundry that they pay $10-$20 to wash and dry and get clean, and not for dogs last time a checked!! I really wish that they would have staff their during they day to be able to handle situations like this. I have also seen many people go in without a mask on, and there is no staff to enforce this policy. I just want to be able to do my laundry without getting accosted by peoples dogs (which happened today) and without having to worry about someone coming up next to me inside a building without a mask on. It's really unfortunate that the privileged customers who can't follow basic social rules ruin the place, and it stresses me out. Some people are allergic to dogs FYI and it is a hygiene issue , and a liability issue that I'm surprised the people running it don't seem to care. read more

"It smells like farts!" - and I have to agree with my 5 year old about that. If you can handle that, and the fact that your clothing will exhibit similar smell, unless you add perfume detergent, etc... I have been going here for months, really want this place to be great but... Also, don't expect a refund for anything. I have observed multiple customers refused refunds with various rhetorical tactics. Ultimately, they would rather argue with you and try to get you to "prove" then trust a frequent customer. Better in many, many ways than many others, but...it smells. You can do better.... :( read more

It's near other businesses, has wifi, open later, minimal lurkers, and your clothes get clean. Not sure what else a laundromat should do.

This is such a nice Laundromat. Nice, working and clean machines. Accomodates large loads including comforters. Free wifi too.

The Laundry is clean and it is so apparent that the owners take pride in having a nice place for folks to do their laundry. The only bad thing is the news is travelling about how great it is and it was packed when I went today. The prices are competitive (I hope they don't go up) and the music is great!!! read more

I could have just used one of the large machines, but choose to pay extra and use a 4 load machine for clothes, a 2 load machine for a dog bed and some rag, and a 2 load machine for whites. The employer approached me and told me I needed to move the dog bed into a 4 load machine, despite me showing her that it only filled up less than half the two load washer. She said it would fill up with too much water and expand and be too big for the machine. I haven't heard of these expanding dog beds. Sounds like the little gel caps from the dollar tree u put in a cup of water and the next day it's a 2" foam dinosaur. Anyway, I pay extra to stay local and use their old dirty machines, but not anymore. I'm going back to spin cycle exclusively because this place is disgustingly filthy and the staff are so is to rip off loyal customers for a few bucks on a dog bed. Ps) Lady who works there: I was trying to wash the bed of my dog/companion who died last week so I could add it to my collection of her things. So rude and greedy. read more

It has washers and dryers and complimentary tennis balls for the dryer. It's always clean and there's no hobos hanging out there. The owner is a very nice and friendly lady. They even let me in once when I was running late picking up a rug out of the dryer a little after closing and didn't give me the stink eye for doing so. read more
