‼DELIVERY DRIVER'S NEGLECT COST ME HUNDREDS IN MISSING CLOTHING‼+1 star for how clean the clothes (that made it back) are and customer service - I inadvertently disabled my card and Ron reached out to me to correct it so I can have my clothes delivered back on time. Got my clothes back today, thank you! However, I am missing my clothes and I'm freaking out! I had 5 garbage bags full of clothes that were picked up 1/13. On 1/14 it was delivered at 3:29pm. It was not until around 3:35pm when I read the alert that my laundry was delivered. I hurried to my front door and did not find it. Thanks for apologizing but your apologies won't bring back my clothes. I walked down to the leasing office and I found 1 purple bag and 2 see-through bags with 11 hanged clothes. I thought weird.. I'm sure I had more clothes. I picked it up and brought the items to my apartment and realized, yes I am missing clothes. To put into perspective, I paid $160 and for just 1 bag and 11 hanged clothes, that doesn't seem right. I was informed the driver dropped off 3 purple bags and 11 hanged clothes and that the driver who dropped off isn't the same one who picked up but then I was corrected that it was IN FACT, the same driver. Like ok. I am so mad at the driver!! You picked up from upstairs yet left the drop off at a different place? Even the note states where my unit is. Even worse, you already picked up and knew where my unit is. Were you being lazy? I could have helped you! Or call me and I'll come down. Anything is better than leaving my clothes downstairs for all to see, giving anybody the opportunity to just snag my items. I live on a very busy street, open complex with lots of foot traffic. I'm upset that my clothes and my son's clothes are missing. Now I will have to shop for clothes for my son and myself since that bulk of laundry was pretty much what we had for school and work. 02/10/20 - Shortly after my post, I received a communication from the owner, Eric. I greatly appreciate his concern about the matter and respect his loyalty to his staff. That said, what matters is how a negative review is handled by the owner and staff. This tells me that I can trust a company if I know they will be responsive. This time they were responsive and after reviewing the events and looking at solutions we were able to achieve a better understanding moving forward. In the end, Eric cares about the service. ---------- If it were possible to give NEGATIVE stars I would. This was Laundry DON'T CARE Express. I have used this service on occasion and the results for delivery have been mixed. However, this is the second time that my clothes are were tossed carelessly on my front step. It was bad enough the last time to had my clothes thrown in the rain on the back porch. But foolish me decided to give them one more chance. No more. I have specifically requested and it has been done to use the plant hooks on the front to hang clothes. Instead, I come home from work late and see a pile of laundry tossed on the ground. The whole reason I sent my laundry here is due to a bad back and pinched nerve that prevented me from taking these loads to the laundry mat. But thanks to Don't Care Laundry Express I had to haul all of these clothes inside with boxes and further injure my back. So far so good! I've used this service twice. The home pickup is awesome. The cleaning is great! I've used several Dry Cleaning services but this one is up there with the best. The press is solid and clean. I appreciate good craftsmanship and these guys pay attention to the details. The price is outstanding. I couldn't believe it when I saw the bill. I sent several shirts that they decided to launder instead of dry clean saving me over $100.00. Most places would have dry cleaned them just to charge the extra $$. I've used their wash service for six months or so. Clothes were always collected and delivered on time (+one star), and were always clean and well packaged (+one star). However, they ROUTINELY lost at least one of my design socks (-one star), delivered hung clothing slightly damp or wrinkled about a quarter of the time (-one star), and NEVER EVER folded or hung anything the same say twice in a row (-one very BIG star) which made it hard for me to keep my dresser organized and made my creased slacks look awful after a couple of washes. They also got blue dye stains all over my cream-colored towels. For us, the bad never came all at once so it never seems a big deal-breaker. We hired this company to wash our linens; it was told to us that they did everything from washing, ironing, folding and pickup/delivery. What they did NOT tell us when we asked how this worked was that we needed to provide "tag" instructions on the linens. WELL many of the linens came with out tags and some were homemade with very nice material, so of course there were no tags with laundry care. Seeing as how this is supposed to be a professional service you would think they would know how to wash different types of linens with our taged care instructions. They were great with pickup and deliver however the the linens were delivered to us in bags instead of on hangers, therefore everything was incredibly wrinkled. We tried to iron the linens but that didnt work. We tried to steam iron the linens and that didnt work. We even took a few pieces to a different dry cleaners to have them attempt to fix the wrinkles and that didnt work. When we mentioned this, yes they did offer to re-do the linens for free of charge however they had destroyed the linens so much originally that nothing worked or could be done to fix the linens. When we asked for a refund on the original services and for replacement of our damaged linens we were denied that in the Terms and Conditions it states the linens need tags. This is quite disappointing as again, this is a professional service so they should know how to work with different types of linens/fabrics; they did not tell us about tags or instructions for completing the laundry when we negotiated the service and many of the linens were hand made or were napkins which do not have any tags in the first place. Lesson learned to say the least. read more

Laundry Care Express has saved my sanity. We were out of town every weekend in May and our laundry piles got OUT OF CONTROL and there was no way to catchup. I looked online to see if there is such a thing as a laundry maid, instead I found Laundry Care Express!!! The service is great and the price is so reasonable, I can't afford not to use them. The automatic weekly pick up is ideal for our family and takes one (wash), two (dry), three (fold/hang), four (put away) things off my to do list each week. I also have to praise Eric as I accidentally put in a dry clean only item and he had it pulled and dry cleaned for me, and not cause damage to my garment. Talk about customer service. It's fantastic the latest reviewers received a degree of communication and service beyond my initial experience. I did not receive any communication until five days after my first experience with Laundry Care Express, so that'spositive. What's suspect is that the aforementioned reviewers have very few reviews under their belts, and after an email from the owner requesting me to remove the review (while still offering no recompense, only excuses, for the situation - mindblowing), it's understandable - and from a business perspective, smart - to acquire good reviews. My previous review was not a referendum on the actual end product. It was solely based on the level of customer service received AFTER an expensive, disruptive and dangerous error on their part. Business is business. It's not personal. If it was based solely on their end product, five stars without hesitation. However, in my first experience with LCE, not only did they take my money but they caused me greater expense in rearranged travel plans, income loss to me for having to reschedule with my own clients, and recompense them for the inconvenience of rearranged meetings and presentations. I asked Mr. Rupp to cease contacting me about the review, as the apologies always seemed to have a "but" attached to them and I already have my own business to run. I mentioned that a refund, discount or some sort of future consolation for the trouble would've been a helpful customer retention move. Sure enough, he then refunded the total for my initial service. Granted, the customer should not have to suggest this... especially after multiple communications... and only after a poor review of their experience. Regardless, he did refund the full fee and I appreciate that. In return, I felt as though they deserved a second chance. Upon arriving home from long travel and having only two days home before flying back out, I arranged for their service, including the dry cleaning. I made sure to underscore that the driver was to leave the items where they are picked up. I was actually going to have a lot more dry cleaning done by them but found it was more cost effective for me to get only my essential dry cleaning items done and take the rest for later pick up at my regular place. This is not a complaint about their dry cleaning prices because they're offering drop off/pick up and next day service. I think the dry cleaning prices are fair... but after being gone for so long, I had a motherload of dry cleaning. I did have a ton of laundry that I needed done ASAP, too, before leaving again. All were picked up, returned without incident and my dry cleaning looked great. When the business model works, it works. I got what I paid for the second time around and it is a value. read more

Tried a laundry service for the first time and selected LCE based on Yelp reviews and the ease of use of their web site. I left my bag of laundry outside my gate and the brought it back all fresh and laundered, neatly folded in their own sturdy bag. I can't tolerate soaps with fragrances and dyes but they offer service with dye- and fragrance-free soap. I highly recommend Laundry Care Express, esp if you're high risk for corona like I am and don't want to come in contact with people unless you have to. I semi-frequently use this service as I don't have access to any machines at my apartment and its quite expensive. I typical will use this if I don't have time myself to wash the clothes or if I have a large amount that I don't have time for. I've had no complaints with the program until today. I had a pickup on a Monday and before I went to bed Tuesday night realized I had not received my clothes which was upsetting as this was one of those instances that I had gone on a trip and had a lot of clothes that needed to be washed. I literally had no pants left and my fiance also was in desperate need of some clean clothes. Although very late in the evening, I sent an email and left a voicemail letting them know my situation and that I needed my clothes ASAP. Around 10:00 the following day I left another voicemail asking them to let me know what happened and when I could expect my clothes. Later in the afternoon, after still having not heard from them I sent another email followed by a call that went straight to voicemail for the 3rd time but didn't leave a message. So after having sent 2 email and 2 voicemail I hadn't heard a peep out of them. My fiance came home to find the clothes outside our door which is a relief but with no note or "I'm sorry" or anything. My frustration is that they never took the time to contact me and let me know what was going on. I should have received a call the moment they realized I would not get my clothes "the next business day." If that's your slogan and guarantee you better make sure to notify your customers when that changes. For all I knew my clothes had been stolen (which was my fear) and it would have been the least they could do to tell me that they would be delivered the next day. Instead I worried all day thinking that they were blatantly ignoring my attempts to contact them because how could you not know after 2 voicemail's and 2 emails that I was upset? I did get a call later in the afternoon saying that were sorry but by then it was too late, no excuse for waiting that long to contact me. Damage has been done. I am over here in San Jose and in my last order they did not deliver a pair of pants and a polo shirt..I emailed them through their website and no response as well as tried to call them. I also sent in another order and the next day they charged my card but no delivery. usually when they charge my card it meant the delivery was on the way.
