The first three times it was wonderful. They came out smelling clean, were fresh and crisp. Last time we got our clothes back undergarments we're shoved in. All stuffed Into one bag. And some shirts were inside out--two to be exact. I thought man! But okay, a change. The clothes weren't as soft. They said we could bring our own softener and dryer sheets. I said okay. And mentioned what had happened Ed to our clothes. We took them to another place for one week which is a bit out of the way. This week my husband said let's take them here. I hesitated then said yeah, probably a bad day. We got them back. Not only were there several shirts and pants inside out and all the underwear bras etc just shoved in there, here and there, but his dress shirts and nice polo shirts were folded, wrinkled through because they were so sloppily folded. The idea was to pick them up clean and folded. Instead, we had to pull everything out, separate them into piles as all kinds of things were shoved in their piles--including one pair of my grandson's pants folded with one stuck inside the fold. We separated them and had to record 1/4 of them and fold and fold the ones that had been stuffed in the bag. We brought in three bags--they stuffed them into one instead of two. My sixty year old husband had nearly to drag them in. Now I'm not sure what's going on. This time I was upset when I called and the person really had no idea why o was upset. He wasn't rude, just did not understand. As I said they are sweet people, but check your clothes before you leave. And be sure to explain exactly what you want.

I have been going to this laundry for abt 2 yrs. The attendants were always there to handle any…read moreproblems, answer questions, assist customers and take custom orders. But yesterday I arrived to find a new owner updating the Southwest Laundry. The original assistants were nowhere to be found. After asking a few questions, I figured out the new management had fired them! I felt like I couldn't leave without asking them about that and of course they denied that and said the original assistants never worked for them. I did challenge them on that and ask why they "FIRED" them. They said they knew nothing about it. I ask them not insult me like that by assuming I was that stupid. Now we all know what happened here and it's my understanding they are buying several laundromats in town and going thru the same process with all of them. True the updating is a good thing, but firing everyone is example of bad business practices and I'm sure all of you have experienced this in some way. No respect or thought for more mature people working that may have trouble finding new work. SO, I will take my business somewhere else that is still independent or buy a washer. That simple.

This place was so dirty. I walked in and the terrible smell of rotten food and mildew hit me in the…read moreface. I quickly noticed that the rotten food smell must be coming from the 2 large trash cans that were full with flies swarming around it. The mildew smell is still unknown. Because it is the only laundromat near by, I went ahead and washed a load of laundry. There are 6 total washers and dryers. And one of each was out of order. Probably not a big deal to some, except the place was hoppin in the middle of the afternoon on a Monday. After spending 1.75 on a washer, I sat down to read. Then noticed a COCKROACH crawling on the washer. Then I saw another one crawl across the floor. This drew my attention to all the nasty along the base of the washers and scattered on the floor like no one had ever swept the place. I then started looking around and noticed the place was rather disgusting. The windows have probably never been washed and I could hardly see out of them. The walls had something running down them that looked like water or nicotine, not sure which. Needles to say, I decided to take my load of laundry and leave after it finished washing. I will just hang them to dry.
