I didn't have a laundry facility in my hotel and needed to do a load of laundry so I came here to give it a try. There are over 40 washers; top load and front load. The front loafers are $2.25 and the top loafers are $1.25. There are also about 20 dryers that you can fit quite a bit in and how much it costs depends on how long you dry. I spent $1.25 for 40 minutes with it on high. I noticed when my clothes came out of the washer they smelled clean and all the stains were out of my shirts and jeans! I forgot dryer sheets and was able to get a box of 2 for $1.25 here. If you forget detergent or change they have machines for those as well. If you want some snacks or drinks they have those as well. There were plenty of places to sit and lots of big fans to help keep the humidity down and cool you off. For my first experience here it was way better than I expected! The bathroom was also very clean, which is always great! I would definitely come back here if I need to do laundry again. If you want you can also drop your stuff off and they will wash them for you. I haven't tried that though so I can't really comment on that part.

You hear all the time about high-pressure, corporate funeral homes (often masked as local businesses) ... well, Kincannon is locally owed and does not play games, put you under pressure, or try to take advantage of a family at a worst possible time. I cannot Thank Bob, and Gary, and the entire staff enough for their helpfulness, kindnesses, and terrific professionalism. A funeral home is the last place any of us "want" to deal with, but when we "need" to, it's is wonderful to know that these sorts of folks are out there at a time when we are at our lowest and most vulnerable.
