    First, let me start of by saying that the professional staff in the back are awesome, as always…read more The problem is always with the front desk operations. I went in as I had an issue where previous work had been done some years earlier. Ultimately, I was going to need a crown. They placed the temporary and painstakingly did all that needed to be done to have the permanent one created. Afterwich, they said that the new crown should be in in two weeks. I went to the front to be scheduled for the next appointment and they advised me that it would be in about a month. Not terribly happy with that, but what are you going to so. Fast forward, I arrived early for my Thursday appointment, only to be told that it had been canceled. I was never notified! They did claim that they called, left a message and sent a text message...but clearly none of this was actually true. I asked why my appointment was canceled and the scheduling person would only say "that is not important now and we just need to get you rescheduled". I rescheduled for the next Tuesday and left. While walking to my truck I called and asked to speak to the office manager as the staff refused to answer any of my questions. I was immediately sent to voicemail and left a message asking for them to give me a call. As expected THEY NEVER CALLED. Since the office manager finds it acceptable to ignore messages I understand why the staff feels that it is ok to act in the manner that they do. I arrived on Tuesday pm for my appointment (not canceled this time) and had the expected great experience in the back. They did a fantastic job and I can not say enough kind things about the care that I received. Once done I went into the waiting room to be "checked out". I watched the staff behind the desk just standing around talking with each other. No other PT's were coming in or out either. I was also watching outside as a massive thunderstorm was looming. As it got dark and started to rain I simply left after waiting 15+ minutes. As expected, I have still not received a call. They did however send me an automated message in reference to my visit, sent a link and asked me to review them online. So here I am.

I also work in healthcare, with patients/children who have epilepsy and the day of my appointment I had a late emergency patient. I busted my butt to get my patient taken care of and to get from Towson to Westminster in time for my appointment, an appointment that THEY rescheduled originally because the hygienist was sick on the day of my original appointment. I called as I was getting off 795 onto 140 to say I was running 15 min late and explained why (child having seizures) and I was told no problem. A few seconds after I hung up they were calling back to ask if I could make it there in the next 2 min, of course the answer was no and I explained again about my patient who was actively seizing when they came into the hospital. I was then told that their policy is a 10 min window and if I couldn't be there in 2 min even after everything I did to get there (stabilizing my patient and fighting afternoon traffic) they would have to reschedule me, I'm sorry, I find that to be EXTREMELY BAD BUSINESS AND PATIENT CARE when you were with the practice as long as I was. I GUESS I SHOULD'VE LEFT THE CHILD SEIZING ON THE TABLE IN ORDER TO MAKE MY APPOINTMENT ON TIME. Loyalty means nothing to this practice, so just make sure you're on time. There are plenty of dentists to choose from, maybe they should remember that! Show a little humanity and not worry so much about policy!
