No one contacted me within that timeframe, so I waited an extra day and called myself. Only then was I told it was finished. The knife came back with a burr on the tip that I had to remove on my own. A sharpening service should inspect their work and handle basic finishing before returning the knife. The knife was damaged, and nothing was mentioned to me. It looks like a mechanical sharpening tool was used, and it left a noticeable gouge in the finish. This is a $250 Benchmade pocket knife that was essentially like new. Overall, I'm very disappointed. The communication was poor, the knife wasn't ready when promised, the finishing work was subpar, and they damaged an expensive knife without acknowledging it. I only noticed the damage when I got home. While the knife still functions, it's extremely frustrating to have your property damaged and not be informed.

I didn't know stores like this require you to get what you need and get out without looking atoned at anything else. I don't see the issue with looking around a store I thought by selling multiple different departments that you welcome people buying more. Not in my case. You'd think I had robbed the place with the treatment and attitude everyone gave me. Each time I've visited Jax not only have I paid for everything but I've gotten quite a bit of things and spent a decent amount doing so. The dirty looks and awful treatment made me feel terrible. I'm done with this company and will try my best to turn away as many people as I can. I get places have things stolen but that's not how you treat people. Very embarrassed and angry.
