I thought that I'd live a little and drop by. I had a coupon that I needed to use. It was for Rockstar energy drinks. I needed to buy one to get another for free. There were more parking spots in front of this store than the other Circle K stores that I have frequented so far. I backed into a spot and walked in. I will say that customers here are polite. The man held the door for me when I walked in. I left this store and a woman held the door for me to go through it after I had swung it wide open carrying my drinks. It was straightforward getting to the beverages. There are a ton of energy drinks here. I found an entire row of Rockstar beverages. I like that there were sugar-free varieties. I got the fruit punch and silver ice. The man behind the counter was friendly. I find that every person that I have dealt with at Circle K has been nice. I scanned my coupon and it worked well. I find that enlarging it works best on my phone for a successful scan. I scanned my PC Optimum card next, followed by tapping my debit card to pay. All was great. I wished the man a great night and he reciprocated. I had the Rockstar silver ice tonight. I enjoyed it. It explains why I'm writing reviews at this hour, which I normally don't do! And, finally, this gas station on the southeast corner. Back then, this gas station was a Sunoco. It then got bought out by Petro-Canada and it has been one ever since. This station has always had a car wash. It had steady business last night. I filled up my car's tank here, as the temperature dipped just under the freezing mark overnight and I didn't have much gas left. The price is average for Markham. I was in the area picking up dinner. For old time's sake, I dropped by to check things out. It has a Neighbours convenience store. I didn't go it, but it was brightly lit and looked nice. There was lots of paper towel at the gas pump that I was at. I appreciated it. The garbage bin was packed, though. It was enough to toss my paper towel in after I was done pumping gas. Other than this detail, this gas station is clean. I had no problem paying at the gas pump. My Petro-Points, 407 ETR, and credit cards all worked seamlessly. It was great returning here. It's a reliable gas station to drop by, with roughly half the pumps available at around 7 pm on a Wednesday night. (412)

I had an eighth of a tank left. It must have been around 2 pm on a Saturday. It wasn't busy. There were plenty of bays. I pulled up to a pump, paid there, and headed off on my merry way. This station is large. It had a car wash, Neighbours convenience store, and A&W. It's clean at this locatuon. The gas prices are cheaper in this area by Canada's Wonderland. (377)

Night time price drops are becoming increasingly common in areas of Thornhill & Richmond Hill between Yonge & Leslie. Other recent hotspots include the corners Bayview/16th, Bayview/Major Mac, Shell on 16th/Leslie the areas of Yonge/Steeles & Yonge/Weldrick (most dependable). This particular station has a large capacity so you're almost never likely to wait for a pump, it has a good deal of driveway space around the pumps, and people going to the store have places to park with sufficient space away from entering/exiting traffic (unlike the poorly designed sibling on the Bayview/Hitech side). The vast majority of operators in the GTA hold the line of the same price so I think it's worthwhile for the consumer to keep a list of locations who offer small discounts from their own margins and reward them with increased sale volume whenever it practical to do so. It may be only $7-$9 a month but it's money I'd rather spend on some coffees or waffles.

On Saturday, I was running errands and noticed that the low fuel warning was lit on my dashboard. I was driving along highway 7 and recalled this station. I pulled in. I have visited this gas station a number of times over the years, but well before my time on Yelp. This place is just in front of a bunch of box stores, such as Winners and Staples. The downside is going eastbound along highway 7 and making a left turn to get to this Petro-Canada. There is a ton of traffic approaching in the opposite direction that it is a wait before you can carefully turn to pull into the station. I like that the bays are wide and that there are many. I had no problem finding an available pump. I filled up and paid at the pump. It was uneventful, but smooth. This station is clean. I was happy that my car's gas tank was full again. (89)

When I'm in this part of Vaughan, I typically fuel at the Pioneer gas station diagonally across from this Petro-Canada gas station. Yesterday, I was travelling eastbound along Highway 7. It made sense to make a right turn into this gas station to fuel my car. It seemed popular that all cars with fuel caps on the left side of their vehicles were all facing the convenience store. I followed suit by pulling next to a gas pump that also had diesel fuel. During these times where gas prices are high, I am fortunate that I have accumulated enough Petro-Points to redeem them towards fuel savings cards. I inserted my Petro-Points card, followed by my five-cents-off-each-litre fuel savings card, and then paid with my credit card. The gas pump that I used was exceptionally slow fuelling my vehicle. It took a while to kick-start it, and then it was slow starting up. I spent longer than expected fuelling, to the point where the guy behind me waiting for diesel (I'm guessing) became impatient and left. At least I could fuel hands-free, so it wasn't as painful as it could have been. The garbage bin behind this gas pump was full. I luckily had to throw out a paper wrapper that I took off a paper straw, so that fit! I got my receipt after my car was done fuelling. I then headed into the convenience store to check it out. There was a guy restocking drinks in the fridge. There were boxes everywhere. I actually had to move a cardboard box to get to the Canada Dry zero-sugar strawberry lemonade drinks. Two of them were going for $5. I got a nice woman at the counter. It took a couple of tries to get my Petro-Points card to scan. I then tapped my credit card to pay for my drinks. Done! I thanked the woman and left with my drinks. I had one when I got home. I put them in an insulated bag and the drink that I consumed was still cold. I had a good experience. I may need to try a different gas pump to determine if the fuel flows faster or if slow is the norm here. (230)

I was driving along Burnhamthorpe Road, heading eastbound to get to highway 427 and ultimately home. I saw that this Petro-Canada gas station had a gas price of 169.9 cents a litre. This price was six cents cheaper than all gas station prices that I had seen in this area. I decided to pull into this gas station to fuel my car. This gas station has a Neighbours convenient store. What was new to me was seeing that KFC was also here. One of these days, I'll need to check it out. I was one of perhaps three customers at this gas station. It was clean. I ended up disposing my empty Starbucks cup here before fuelling my car. I inserted my Petro-points card, followed by my fuel-savings card. I then tapped my credit card. I was ready to pump gas into my car. I like the hands-free fuelling feature. It's nice. Once my car had a full tank of gas, I got a printed receipt. Done! I was thinking to fuel my car in Markham. It was great that I fuelled here before hitting two hightways to get home. (307)
