The knowledge that the staff exude is exemplary, especially for the Wausau area. From unique varieties, preparations, vineyards, and grapes to many more criterion way over my head, they have you covered. Our most recent experience was a wine pairing event. In this format, there was a charcuterie board with different ingredients intended to be paired with different types of wines. There were also plates served as well - soups, salads, and sandwiches - that were all delicious (most are available on their main lunch menu as well). It was very interesting and classy. Their sommelier explained the differences between the numerous wine samples, how to serve them, how to pair them with food, and we enjoyed the entire event.
