Did not follow requested delivery instructions of a very large order. Order was simply dropped off at the entrance of the building. I asked to be notified when it arrived. I called to inquire about the order and found out it had been delivered 35-40 minutes ago. Staff was waiting for their lunch. read more

The guy with dark hair and dark facial hair was a tool. Super rude to us and the co-workers near him. He was working at a table (with a gym bag on the floor) on a computer when we walked in so I'm assuming he's a manager. I feel bad for anyone that works for him if he is the manager. I like JJ's but recently I contacted corporate by email and received a response I was not expecting. I do not like capicolla. I asked if I could hold the capicolla and substitute salami or ham instead. I got a big fat no. I replied that he was a big butthead and how was it going to affect their bottom line by making a substitution. I got a big fat no response. This is the worst service at a Jimmy John's I've ever experienced. The workers were standing around instead of actually making the sandwiches. We pre-ordered online yet still had to wait over 25 minutes, despite the store not being busy. While I normally love Jimmy John's and can understand needing to wait, this wait was beyond what's normal or expected. The staff did not seem to care and were just standing around chit chatting. I recommend going literally anywhere else for a quick meal in Wausau. read more

Never had to wait so long at a jimmy john's. At least 15 minutes from order to getting our food at the drive thru. Granted it was 12:15 on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. As far as fast food subs go, Jimmy John's is better than Subway. You get a lot more meat and I think the bread tastes better. As far as this location is concerned, it deserves better credit. We stopped here on our way through town. We had ordered only 5 minutes ahead of time using their mobile website, and the order was ready when we arrived. This is the worst JJs I've been to. They are always hiring, service is slow, and the food is never as good as other locations! They must have terrible management! One time I ordered a #12 on wheat and I swear there was an inch of cheese on it and only a slice or two of turkey. I literally think they mixed up the turkey and cheese. How do you do that!? I still go here once in a while because I like Jimmy Johns and it's the only one in Wausau and I've never been impressed. In fact I am usually disappointed. The one in Weston is MUCH better. A bad experience earlier this year may mean that it will be a long time before I try them again. A group of us at work ordered sandwiches to be delivered to the work site. I ordered a Beach Club sandwich. It arrived without turkey! There was very little avocado spread. Perhaps the excessive amount of "mayo" overwhelmed the avocado flavor. With all that mayo the contents slipped out of the sandwich. The bread was the only redeeming part of the sandwich. So buyer beware: Don't order without watching your sandwich being assembled. read more

The sandwiches were ok, but the service was TERRIBLE! I had family visiting and placed a pretty large order online for pick up (12 sandwiches). The food was made quickly, but I was shocked by the lack of customer service. Not only that, when I got home, I realized I was missing a sandwich. I called them up asking for a refund, and they refused. They said I would have to drive back and pick up the missing sub. I drove all the way back there expecting to be showered with apologies for their mistake, and they were rude about it!! I would not recommend this place, and you will never see me there again. 2 takeout sandwiches and both wrong orders!!!! if you order anything takeout, open each sandwich to check ingredients!!!!!!!!!!!! also not very accommodating when calling to speak with a manage to voice a complaint! The service here at the jimmy johns was absolutely terrible. We got here 10 mins before closing and the girl aggressively made our subs, wrapped them and threw the sub at the drive thru window and made a nasty face at us. She also crumbled our receipt and threw it in the bag. She is clearly unhappy for working until close. She needs to find a day job that doesn't involve customer service. Jimmy Johns have great subs but they are seriously the slowest drive thru I have ever been too. I honestly feel that if they hired halfway responsible employees then they might rise to a three or four star. Teenagers that play more than they work is not going to cut it. read more

I called to order a sub for lunch the gargantuan to be delivered. I had surgery a few weeks back and can't drive. After placing the order and giving my address they stated I was outside of there delivery area. They informed me the furthest they go is South 3rd ave in Wausau. I reside on South 2nd literally blocks away. There lack of customer service and attitude. I will never visit this location and I encourage you all to do the same. read more
