Been here a couple times already, every time I go the service was been phenomenal placed our order and received our food in a timely manner. They do have specials as well depending on the day. The aesthetic is very cultured and welcoming. For this time we got tacos and one of the bowls. The tacos came with two tortillas each making it MORE tacos. The burrito bowl could use a bit more food. Being from Southern California I was a little skeptical of trying Mexican food so far away from the Mexican border. This restaurant however, has got it down pat. The food is very flavorful, the atmosphere is great, all around a good place to eat, a good place to be. My only takeaways from here, the Horchata was a little heavy on the cinnamon flavor, and I wasn't expecting the fast-casual style dining, order at the counter then seat yourself and when your buzzer goes off you go get your food. Food is decent, but my biggest complaint is the drink sizes. You can get a medium (16oz), or extra large beverage (32oz), but you can't get a large. This annoys me to no end, because the large cup (24oz) is the perfect size, AND THE CUP IS SITTING RIGHT THERE NEXT TO ALL OF THE OTHER CUP SIZES. They'll just say no, sorry, we don't have that size if you ask for it, but it's just staring me in the face, so why can't I have it? I loved it. Went in for a quick dinner on the road. Ended up in flavorsome with Carne Asada, Carnitas and Al Pastor tacos with a side of elote. You order at the front and they give you a buzzer to come pick up the food. The food was fresh hot and delicious. My only regret was that I didn't see they had Birria tacos that night. Best gal darn burrito I've had in a long time. Honestly, I'd go at least an hour or so out of my way to eat here. That's how good this place is. I got the spicey burrito which was absolute flames literally and figuratively. The salsas were bomb and I could've ordered about 6 more rounds of chips and salsa. I wish I could have tried more dishes because they were so good. Honestly, this place will take your taste buds for an epic ride. Any place that has a breakfast burrito on the menu already has a special spot in my heart, but this might just be the best breakfast burrito I've ever tried. I've gone with both the ham and chorizo options, and both are great! It's sadly been a while since I've been in, but I remember the portion was GENEROUS. Like, those burritos had their own area code. Haven't been able to try the outdoor seating, but the area looks nice. I hope to check that out next time I'm in town! read more

We swung in here on a road trip and were not disappointed. Atmosphere: Clean bathrooms that were very large. Big seating area with lots of different table sizes. You order at the counter and then call you up to pick up your order when your buzzer goes off. Food: Really great portions for the price. The items we ordered were full of flavors. My sister really enjoyed her elote and vegetarian bowl. I got the pork burrito, HUGE, but not a lot of meat. Still filling though because of the size. After someone had recommended this spot I looked it up on Yelp and based on the reviews decided to give it a try. Staff was very friendly, the street tacos were authentic tasting and delicious, and the margarita was good. The owner or manager (not sure which) sent over some fried onions. Oh man, this was good food. We had the birria tacos and pork tamales. Both were amazing! I have to praise the tamales because these were the meatiest tamales I've ever had. Just stopping through Wasau on the way to the UP from Chicago, I really did not expect to find solid Mexican food here in central Wisconsin! I'm from California, and have had my fair share... it's pretty good here! My partner ordered the lengua, carnitas, and el pastor tacos. The carnitas and lengua were alright, and we enjoyed the pastor. I ordered camarones a la diabla, and the flavor and spice on that was really good for where we were! The space is lovely, clean, big, and bright. It feels more modern inside, and is a really comfortable place to dine. Clean and big bathrooms. The service is very speedy for the quality of food you get. The chip and queso are the best I've ever had and I do not usually like shrimp but the shrimp tacos are delicious. There is always something good to watch on the TV's if alone or good music in the background when with friends. I eat here very often and have rarely had any problems but when there is, accidentally giving a small bag of chips instead of large, they are very polite and apologetic and fix it immediately. Last night My daughter and I had stopped here to try this place out. She ordered a chicken quesadilla. It looked good and considering she devoured it, i'll assume it was good. I ordered Asada and Al Pastor street tacos. The Al Pastor was hot and very tasty while the Asada was cold and had very little taste. I also ordered the Mexican corn. It was ok, but definitely room for improvement. I think it could've used some cilantro and lime. I also ordered an Al Pastor burrito which I didn't eat until today. I was very disappointed in it lacked pork. I'm very surprised that whomever prepared the burrito would serve this. Had I known right away I would've definitely sent it back.
