stopped on a road trip -- My fiancée says it was "the best burrito he's had from a Qdoba"

My significant other and I stopped here around 6-630ish, July 17th. There were two young men up front, and an older man who I assumed to be the manager. I've worked in food service on and off for many years, and I continue to work with the public... I understand just how grating customers can be. I fully understand the disdain for doing what you're hired to do, likely for less than you feel you should be paid, and feeling like it's a thankless position. Truly, I do. The thing is, you CANNOT let the customers see that. That said, the younger guy who was at the tortilla and rice part of the make line made both my significant other and I exceedingly uncomfortable with how palpable his desire to be literally anywhere else was. I could hardly hear his (few and far between) and obviously disinterested prompts about what I wanted, and by the time I realized I didn't get the opportunity to request the rest of the toppings I wanted, the bowl was closed and he was onto the next item. We chose to take our meal to go because of how uncomfortable this employee made us feel, just for trying to grab some food on our way home. I'm not one to expect a smile or for someone to be overly fake... but I will be trading Qdoba for the new Chipotle in town once it opens... which is a damn shame, since Qdoba is decidedly better. read more

I ordered 2 entrees and at the checkout the kid was more worried about his Apple Watch than anything else. He almost forgot to give me an entree, he forgot to put in my queso for a chicken QUESO bowl. I called to make it right and was told to come back to get the queso or come back for a refund. Save your money and go to Taco Bell. read more

My husband and I have gone here several times and don't have issues with the food - it's delicious in spite of a messy and questionably clean cooking area. However the staff always seems to have bad attitudes and they won't smile, make eye contact, etc and are typically in a huge rush. At one point we saw a manager rudely correcting an employee in front of at least four customers, which is not only inappropriate but also makes for a toxic work environment. Overall going here is too uncomfortable to be worth it. read more

The one female employee with blonde hair and glasses should have probably called into work today or fixed her attitude. Her customer service skills were extremely poor as she yawned and never said a word the entire ordering experience. She then continued to text on her phone in front of other customers. Food was great per usual, but the experience of the ONE employee was extremely unprofessional and unsatisfactory. Hoping her unfortunate actions don't affect the tipping outcome for her other coworkers. read more

Another completely RUDE group of ladies working today at 11:30. They do APPLY to work there, right??? Like, they know they're being actually PAID to be nice to people? My teenage daughter was glared at the entire time, it was SO bizarre. And the men's bathroom was a total mess. Sticky floor, pee everywhere, overflowing garbage. My son came out and said he felt like he needed to wash his hands again somewhere else. Such a convenience to stop at this one, but will probably have to go across town. read more

Come to this location often as we enjoy the food but always leave extremely disappointed because of the customer service. The food is delicious but definitely not worth how they treat their customers. I am on dietary restrictions and simply asked for a small bowl of chicken and was willing to pay whatever was required. The two ladies working addressed my request with eye rolls, shaking of their heads, and whispering to each other behind the counter about me. The tables are rarely cleaned. Popped in for lunch on a Monday at 2ish... The employee assembling the orders had no hair net or hat-which I believe is required in a restaurant. The prep table behind them was dirty with food remnants- if a customer can see it - it's gross. Boxes were stacked seemed everywhere. Tables from previous customers were dirty There was a floor mat draped over a seating area. Seemed a little disorganized. We are in a time where cleanliness is everything, they wouldn't pass my test... Food was ok, not fond of the portions though. read more

The person making my food was great. He was very kind and attentive. The other employees, on the other hand, were horribly rude and treated him poorly. Such a toxic work environment. I hope HR does something about this. read more

I was just there first time at this location and what horrible service and very skimpy on the toppings...I had a burrito I had asked for little rice and beans but she then put very little chicken and queso on it I asked for more and she put like 2 more little pieces of chicken on it and a little scoop of queso with a drink came to 11.25 will not go back again... read more

Second time at a QDOBA. Staff not friendly or helpful with explaining choices. Felt rushed. Only person in line. "Just said refer to the choices on glass." I reached when I pointed to what I wanted - I am sure it was a hygiene concern they had. Very similar to Subway, but with Mexican food such as burritos, tacos and bowls. Very clean, and the food was great! Definitely a great place to grab lunch, whether it be to go or to stat and enjoy the outdoor seating! Plenty of options for different diet restrictions as well! read more

Good portions. American Mexican food. Many of the staff are helpful but to many speak softly and it makes it hard to hear what they are offering and a few are out right rude when you ask them to repeat what they had said. Training on hand washing might be helpful, the bathroom become a friend within a hour of eating there. read more

My boyfriend had gone to order our household our food and we always get the same thing. Every time. As he was ordering the employee just didn't seem like he was listening at all. When he got the food home the whole order was messed up and cold. We went back and spoke to a manager but she had an attitude. Along with the other two that were working. She remade our whole order for us which was nice and made it correctly. But again it was cold. The rice, queso, veggies and meat are usually steaming hot. This time it was cold like it was sitting out for a couple hours. I'm happy she remade my order but when the manager gives customers attitude somethings messed up there. read more

Pretty good and I'm about to compare it to another place, please forgive me. I moved here from places that had a Chipotle on every corner and I LOVE Chipotle and I miss it, desperately. I will say, Qdoba will be a pretty A-OK substitute for me. It definitely doesn't have the flavors and wow factor of Chipotle. I had a shredded beef burrito this afternoon with a little bit of rice, pinto beans, sour cream, cheese, corn salsa and the medium heat tomatillo salsa. Ordinarily I would have opted for guacamole but theirs just looked off so I skipped it. The corn salsa was boring and the tomatillo salsa was all tang and no real flavor, but neither were horrible. I would just try something different in the future. The beef, while good in texture, was lacking in flavor, but not bad or anything, just a little dull. The rice was too mushy and I would skip it completely next time, the pinto beans were very nice as was the tortilla. I liked the size of the burritos here, a little bit smaller than that other place I don't need to keep mentioning. I hate to keep comparing it to Chipotle, but well, I can't help it. I specifically went here to find a substitute and this place will definitely do. I look forward to trying their other offerings and appreciate that they have much more to choose from - soups, signature burritos, etc. read more

The food was good but I was very distracted after purchasing it. The cashier was handling cash and then handling my silverware, cutting our quedadilla, then going back to the cash register. She never sanitized once going back and forth from cash to food and back. (I was standing there a while cuz i ordered online) if you go, use hand sanitizer after opening the bag and utensils. read more

Delmar was very friendly and catered to my likes. As we built my meal, he noticed I liked spicey food and went back and recommended additional toppings. This was during a snow storm where I'm sure it was troublesome to get to work. He is a great employee and deserves recognition. read more

Service was awful! Customers standing in line witnessing how we were treated made comments. We paid for our food and ate outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. The teenage/college kid working literally threw our food at us. We didn't order anything crazy, a couple of cheese quesadillas and taco bowls, pretty simple dinner that cost $49. The manager did come out to apologize and gave us free meals. Doesn't do us any good as were from out of town. The gesture was the only redeeming quality. If you're going to work in the service industry, especially restaurant, you need to treat customers with respect. After all, they ultimately are your paycheck. read more

Went here with my little brother, we ordered our food and then this man asked if I wanted chips as my side and I said "Yes please, chips with a side of queso" then we waited for our food. When handed our food we had our entree as well with chips but no queso. So when I asked again for a side of queso the man sighed heavily , rolled his eyes and then announced to another lady working that I wanted queso now. He made it seem like I was asking a lot from him. I ordered queso not a side of attitude. I'm very upset with the situation seeing as QDOBA is one my go to restaurants. If you want a burrito, tacos, or other Mexican food with a Chipotle type restaurant, this is it. A sort of fast food, subway type of restaurant, where you can pick your toppings as you go down the line. Good food, fast, a little pricy, around $8 to $9 for most entrees. My kids and I read like the soda (pop) machine, where you can get several varieties of soda, mix and match! read more

Don't order a salad, for the love of god! The food, overall, is good but the portions have gotten progressively smaller. I prefer to order a salad-no dressing and no taco shell. Unlike their competitors, Q'doba does not offer salad customers rice, beans or veggies. With approximately 3/4 cup of lettuce, 2 oz of chicken, one scoop of pico, and two tablespoons of shredded cheese and sour cream I wound up with less than a 2 cup salad FOR NEARLY $9! Their salads are side size at best. This has been the case for my last two trips. Unless you plan to purchase a second entree, don't order a salad. On my 5/6 trip, the two people serving in the line could not have cared less about what they were doing. They were in a hurry to return to the kitchen area and resume their conversation. This was my first visit to the restaurant. Service was great. Staff was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I had the shredded pork burrito. The pork was juicy and very flavorful. The other ingredients on my burrito were fresh. I look forward to returning and trying some of the other menu items. read more

Really disappointed, customer service was sub-par, food was lukewarm and really expensive for what it was. I basically got a terribly wrapped blob of mediocre mexican food. It was my first and last time eating at qdoba for sure. read more
