The workers were not too happy about correcting it but did it quickly. Long line was taken care of quickly and efficiently. I think I was the only one with a wrong order. Simple mistake but was corrected. Customer service could have been nicer but oh well. This Wendy's was the only option for dairy free and egg free for me.

It's been through different ups and downs through the time good reviews bad reviews good service bad service but over the last year I'd say they've had a really good solid staff I'm surprised I've never reviewed this to this day I've stopped here quite a few times through yrs It does have some nice new soft cushioned boots which are very comfortable to sit in same with the chairs. I came in was created immediately and do what I wanted the only drawback they didn't have Diet Coke on that day or in the back they were waiting on the truck to come with some more. So I had a Big Mac meal no pickle or onion french fries medium size no salt and I also went with a nugget small order four piece sweet and sour. And I opted to have unsweetened iced tea. Quality the food was very good everything was hot and fresh. Bathrooms are very clean. So definitely above average of other ones holding it at four stars it was an outstanding but it was very good.

Each one had a crumbling shell with a barely noticeable smidgen of meat. Her burrito was slightly better, but not by much. What little interaction we had with the staff wasn't impressive either. They didn't seem happy to be there. One and a half stars, rounded down because the more I think about those tacos the more disappointed I get.

And I would pass up Church's Chicken for the fried chicken here at the truck stop. Mash potatoes, Baja chicken soup, baby back ribs, Meatball marinara ... Well executed***make Shamrock and Sysco proud! However the beef on the pot roast tasted like it was drenched in baking soda and experienced velveting overdose. Overall service was excellent. All the food arrived hot and the toast was generously buttered not just a tiny little touch of butter. Very well done. The service was great, no issues and our server was nice and attentive with pleasant conversation. The diner was clean and nobody had any concerns what so ever. It is the gas station for Trucks and Autos that is attached to the world's largest truck stop. It was our first visit so we weren't sure what to expect. I now know you can expect: friendly service, reasonable prices, and good food. When you walk in the front door it is a little confusing. There is a gift shop, and the restaurant is past the gift shop; but the hostess stand is in the gift shop. You also pay your dinning bill at the gift shop counter. The gift shop got very congested, but it was not a big deal and won't impact my rating. We started with a cup of French Onion Soup. It was very good, they top it with some thin french fried onions which was a nice twist. It has been awhile since I've been in Iowa and I was craving a breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. The sandwich was good but not up to Iowa standards. I'm accustomed to a breaded pork tenderloin that is pounded nice and thin and is way bigger than the bun. This was not pounded thin. It was a thick cut of meat. But, I repeat it was good. My fries were delicious. My wife had the Classic Burger and it was excellent. She said her sweet potato fries were good (I did not try them). Service is friendly, and prices are reasonable. One word of caution: If you are on a road-trip and hoping for a quick stop (as we were) be warned it won't be quick. Everything is made from scratch, which is great, but it definitely takes longer. If you are in Davenport and looking for good food at reasonable prices you might want to stop by The Machine Shed.
